"I am a deeply religious nonbeliever - this is a somewhat new kind of religion."
"I have only two rules which I regard as principles of conduct. The first is: Have no rules. The second is: Be independent of the opinion of others."
"Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a Spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a Spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble."
"The more I study science, the more I believe in God."
"That deep emotional conviction of the presence of a Superior Reasoning Power, which is revealed in the incomprehensible universe, forms my idea of God."
"The more I learn of physics, the more I am drawn to metaphysics."
"Body and soul are not two different things, but only two different ways of perceiving the same thing. Similarly, physics and psychology are only different attempts to link our experiences together by way of systematic thought."
"Concerning matter, we have been all wrong. What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter." - "I like to experience the universe as one harmonious whole.
Every cell has life.
Matter, too, has life; it is energy solidified."
"Matter is spirit reduced to point of visibility." - "It is entirely possible that behind the perception of our senses, worlds are hidden of which we are unaware."
"Matter is Energy ... Energy is Light ... We are all Light Beings.
"We are slowed down sound and light waves, a walking bundle of frequencies tuned into the cosmos. We are souls dressed up in sacred biochemical garments and our bodies are the instruments through which our souls play their music."
The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal God and avoid dogmas and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description."
"I said before, the most beautiful and most profound religious emotion that we can experience is the sensation of the mystical. And this mysticality is the power of all true science. If there is any such concept as a God, it is a Subtle Spirit, not an image of a man that so many have fixed in their minds. In essence, my religion consists of a humble admiration for this Illimitable Superior Spirit that reveals itself in the slight details that we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble minds."
"To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their most primitive forms - this knowledge, this feeling, is at the center of TRUE religiousness. In this sense, and in this sense only, I belong to the rank of devoutly religious men."
"My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind. He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed. The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science."
- said Albert Einstein
God is the invention of man
God is the invention of man :
All deities were created by people to use others, to gang up on them, to exploit them and to get power, influence and profit. It has always been like this... until today nothing has changed... whether opium for the common people or asylum for the stupid ...everyone can decide that for themselves
This is brilliant and is pure Vedic wisdom of India.❤
Yeah the dude probably had a good read of the vedas before he came up with his philosophy!
If you agree with this concept or if it resonates with you at all, I strongly urge you to look into The Law of One, also known as the Ra material. Or A Course in Miracles if you lean more toward Christian beliefs. Both of these works teach that God is unity, all that exists. And everything in all of infinite creation IS the creator, including you and me. These two books have changed everything for me.
Tks for the recommendation! I will definitely look into it and read about it, I really like this concept of Spinoza
More and more I believe, or know deep down, that it is really like the story, one bird eats and one look. So there can’t be two, and that’s the paradox, only one.
Spinoza's God is called as BRAHAMAN in Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) or consciousness that pervades in the universe and we are part of it and it exists in every one of us.. 7th century mystic in India Sri Shankaracharya came up with a philosophy called Advaita (Non dual). If any one is interested pl watch Swami Saravpriyananda's talk on Advaita in you tube.
Thank you for the recommendation, my friend. I will definitely watch it
Yup, Spinoza was influenced by Neoplatonists, Jewish Mystics, Kabbalists, and, probably, Vedics
Bro just stop. It doesn't matter if Spinoza got it from Vedics or not... Indians still believe in flying monkeys and blue dude with 1000 side chicks.
Stop yapping. According to this logic, Abrahamic God is same as this shit.
Spinoza's God is the whole cosmology not a "person"

I'm a 65 yo retiree born and raised in southeast Mississippi...needless to say christian fundamentalism rules the day...but I care not for any of it, b/c I've seen firsthand how it seems to bring out the worst in people...the sanctimonious, self-righteousness...the divisiveness and alienation...I guess you could say I've always had a more pantheistic, mystic type relationship with the cosmos...unitive consciousness...it's the only consciousness that makes any sense...non-dual...I'm convinced Jesus himself was a mystic...I will probably never "see" any other way...there are many of you out there that know what I'm talking about.
You are seeing directly.Keep your vision.
I'm guessing you see the same.
I live in London, UK. Totally get where you are coming from. Trouble is, when Christianity fades away, what takes its place?
You can call the Infinite Jaweh, God, Allah or Beloved, in the end it’s Love underneath all ‘religions’ which in my eyes isn’t the real. The cosmos is made of Love.
Spinoza's God...
Nicely done. I largely agree with Spinoza's ideas.

What kind of pizza does a Buddhist like? One with everything.
If there is any religion that would cope with modern scientific needs, it would be Buddhism.”
albert einstein
This is absolutely correct, although Buddhism is not monolithic and has unfortunately been co-opted by the many schools and offshoots of these schools which frequently have their own unique interpretation of what Buddhism is all about. If we stick to the basics, the Core Concepts for managing our thoughts and behavior, we will make huge improvements in the world. Think of Buddhism as an early version of psychology, the study of the mind, with “psychoanalysis”, or looking at the causes of our problems (“suffering”), and psychotherapy, the cures for our mental afflictions like anger, hate, selfish desire, resentment, jealousy, etc. Buddhism is the answer, but it is not a magic pill, requiring study and hard work to change many years of cultural distorted perceptions of what is important in life. Metta
The people who contributed most to Einstein’s success were Christians. Einstein himself regarded James Clerk Maxwell as the greatest physicist ever. It was Maxwell, who in developing the equations of electromagnetism, first realized the key that Einstein would use to describe special and general relativity - I.e. that the relative speed of light in a vacuum is a constant. Maxwell was a devout Christian. Then the first physicist who took Einstein’s work on relativity seriously, and accepted his papers to publish them was no other than Max Planck, again an actively Christian believer, who wrote on the compatibility and non-conflict between science and religion (Einstein wrote a similar essay, that said religion and science are not in conflict, but are complimentary ways of understanding the universe). And the man who gave Einstein the mathematics to calculate the formulae of relativity was Hendrick Lorentz, who though raised Protestant, became a practicing Catholic. Without these three Einstein would neither have had the theoretical nor mathematical substance to figure out - and then publish on - Relativity. Einstein was a truly great physicist, but his pronouncements on religion always appeared couched in whatever was convenient at the time. But his three greatest enablers - Maxwell, Lorentz and Planck - were all practicing Christians. Of the 225 individuals awarded the 117 Nobel prizes awarded to date, three have been Buddhist. I’ve studied Buddhism. It doesn’t make sense for Buddhism to be an encouragement to scientific inquiry, because Buddhism teaches that all earthly interests and desires lead one away from Nirvana/ to become nothing - which is achieved only by giving up any interest that would attach you to this world and it’s sufferings. That contradicts what you need to do to be a great physicist, which requires a person to be enthralled by the attempt to understand the physical nature of world. Those two goals are incompatible.
And even Buddhisme is Not a religion…..
That is a great contradiction. Einstein stated clearly and many times, that he was interested in understanding God’s thoughts, and everything outside this had no
meaning to him. Buddhism depending on who you talk to either denies there is a God, or (as far as I could tell in my study of Buddhism) denies there is any importance to God or understanding God. To Einstein, his reason for his interest in physics was to understand God - an entity Buddhism either denies exists or denies being worth our
attention. Buddhism has many, many beautiful artifacts - particularly temples and art - but I get the sense many, like Einstein, who praise Buddhism have not actually looked critically and seriously at what Buddhism teaches. And if someone really understood the cosmology taught in the Bible, and understood the cosmology of Hinduism, they wouldn’t find these two
religions as drastically alien as we seem to find them. I say that as a believing Christian who has studied Hinduism (and Buddhism) in a formal secular academic setting.
@@jamesbarringer2737 the world is full of paradoxes. Even if you call this contradiction.
Thank you for your excellent podcast, giving us an overview of the importance of Spinoza's philosophy. As a student of Spinoza's philosophy, I have studied Spinoza's Ethics extensively, and I believe to really understand Spinoza, you must live his ideas. I have more than a theoretical concept. After 40 years of work, I now teach, mentor, and coach those who want to live, understand, and love as Spinoza did.
Your work in teaching and mentoring others to follow this path is inspiring, thank you for sharing! Indeed, living philosophy is very different from just knowing it. Thank you! 🐇🤍
Imagine yourself sharing every portion of yourself, the small atoms sharing between and the different organs sharing to reveal the human body, the mind shared from the differences of the universe in a matrix like structure so that we can reflect the difference or embody them. Imagine how we are right now, not ourselves but sharing with the universe. That is god. God does not deny, it’s not a guy in the sky but rather it is nothing itself so it is able to be everything. If i share my mind with the unconscious then i bring consciousness to it and change things by listening or paying attention. God shares everything so it is not itself but rather everything exploring and that’s why free will exists, there is no god dictating but rather sharing everything. That’s why we are just a simple pattern right now until we understand and recognize and then we can expand instead of denying things that are because we believe they aren’t. We can see the differences, the knowledge OF good and evil but that doesn’t make things good and evil. We got lost because of how close we are to all this. If i wanted to be everything then i wouldn’t take or give, i would share. Quantum mechanics reveals this sharing and so does evolution. It’s not just a theory because you undergo changes and are different every day and if you don’t understand look at old pictures, you were different. That’s why people are talking about fluid identity and stuff, they are confused and lost when they don’t understand.
In a Real fundamental way you are the Universe and the Universe is you
Understanding God as the sum of all that exists is clearly what Albert Einstein meant in his famous quotes where he invoked God along with his scientific observations . Einstein used “ God “ as a poetic short hand for nature .
A segment from 'Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within'...
My new understandings of what many call 'God -The Holy Spirit' - resulting from some of the extraordinary ongoing after-effects relating to my NDE, when I was struck by lightning during September 1970.
Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what some scientists are now referring to as the unified field of consciousnesses. In other words, it’s the essence of all existence and non-existence - the ultimate creative force behind planets, stars, nebulae, people, animals, trees, fish, birds, and all phenomena, manifest or latent. All matter and intelligence are simply waves or ripples manifesting to and from this core source. Consciousness (enlightenment) is itself the actual creator of everything that exists now, ever existed in the past, or will exist in the future - right down to the minutest particles of dust - each being an individual ripple or wave.
The big difference between chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and most other conventional prayers is that instead of depending on a ‘middleman’ to connect us to our state of inner enlightenment, we’re able to do it ourselves. That’s because chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo allows us to tap directly into our enlightened state by way of this self-produced sound vibration. ‘Who or What Is God?’ If we compare the concept of God being a separate entity that is forever watching down on us, to the teachings of Nichiren, it makes more sense to me that the true omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence of what most people perceive to be God, is the fantastic state of enlightenment that exists within each of us. Some say that God is an entity that’s beyond physical matter - I think that the vast amount of information continuously being conveyed via electromagnetic waves in today’s world gives us proof of how an invisible state of God could indeed exist.
For example, it’s now widely known that specific data relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinary and powerful effects - including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these invisible waves can easily be used to detonate a bomb or to enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars - none of which is possible without a receiver to decode the information that’s being transmitted. Without the receiver, the data would remain impotent. In a very similar way, we need to have our own ‘receiver’ switched on so that we can activate a clear and precise understanding of our own life, all other life and what everything else in existence is.
Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day helps us to achieve this because it allows us to reach the core of our enlightenment and keep it switched on. That’s because Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what scientists now refer to as the unified field of consciousnesses. To break it down - Myoho represents the Law of manifestation and latency (Nature) and consists of two alternating states. For example, the state of Myo is where everything in life that’s not obvious to us exists - including our stored memories when we’re not thinking about them - our hidden potential and inner emotions whenever they’re dormant - our desires, our fears, our wisdom, happiness, karma - and more importantly, our enlightenment.
The other state, ho, is where everything in Life exists whenever it becomes evident to us, such as when a thought pops up from within our memory - whenever we experience or express our emotions - or whenever a good or bad cause manifests as an effect from our karma. When anything becomes apparent, it merely means that it’s come out of the state of Myo (dormancy/latency) and into a state of ho (manifestation). It’s the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness, being awake or asleep, or knowing and not knowing.
The second law - Renge - Ren meaning cause and ge meaning effect, governs and controls the functions of Myoho - these two laws of Myoho and Renge, not only function together simultaneously but also underlies all spiritual and physical existence.
The final and third part of the tri-combination - Kyo, is the Law that allows Myoho to integrate with Renge - or vice versa. It’s the great, invisible thread of energy that fuses and connects all Life and matter - as well as the past, present and future. It’s also sometimes termed the Universal Law of Communication - perhaps it could even be compared with the string theory that many scientists now suspect exists.
Just as the cells in our body, our thoughts, feelings and everything else is continually fluctuating within us - all that exists in the world around us and beyond is also in a constant state of flux - constantly controlled by these three fundamental laws. In fact, more things are going back and forth between the two states of Myo and ho in a single moment than it would ever be possible to calculate or describe. And it doesn’t matter how big or small, famous or trivial anything or anyone may appear to be, everything that’s ever existed in the past, exists now or will exist in the future, exists only because of the workings of the Laws ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ - the basis of the four fundamental forces, and if they didn’t function, neither we nor anything else could go on existing. That’s because all forms of existence, including the seasons, day, night, birth, death and so on, are moving forward in an ongoing flow of continuation - rhythmically reverting back and forth between the two fundamental states of Myo and ho in absolute accordance with Renge - and by way of Kyo. Even stars are dying and being reborn under the workings of what the combination ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ represents. Nam, or Namu - which mean the same thing, are vibrational passwords or keys that allow us to reach deep into our life and fuse with or become one with ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’.
On a more personal level, nothing ever happens by chance or coincidence, it’s the causes that we’ve made in our past, or are presently making, that determine how these laws function uniquely in each of our lives - as well as the environment from moment to moment. By facing east, in harmony with the direction that the Earth is spinning, and chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for a minimum of, let’s say, ten minutes daily to start with, any of us can experience actual proof of its positive effects in our lives - even if it only makes us feel good on the inside, there will be a definite positive effect. That’s because we’re able to pierce through the thickest layers of our karma and activate our inherent Buddha Nature (our enlightened state). By so doing, we’re then able to bring forth the wisdom and good fortune that we need to challenge, overcome and change our adverse circumstances - turn them into positive ones - or manifest and gain even greater fulfilment in our daily lives from our accumulated good karma. This also allows us to bring forth the wisdom that can free us from the ignorance and stupidity that’s preventing us from accepting and being proud of the person that we indeed are - regardless of our race, colour, gender or sexuality. We’re also able to see and understand our circumstances and the environment far more clearly, as well as attract and connect with any needed external beneficial forces and situations. As I’ve already mentioned, everything is subject to the law of Cause and Effect - the ‘actual-proof-strength’ resulting from chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo always depends on our determination, sincerity and dedication.
For example, the levels of difference could be compared to making a sound on a piano, creating a melody, producing a great song, and so on. Something else that’s very important to always respect and acknowledge is that the Law (or if you prefer God) is in everyone and everything.
NB: There are frightening and disturbing sounds, and there are tranquil and relaxing sounds. It’s the emotional result of any noise or sound that can trigger off a mood or even instantly change one. When chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day, we are producing a sound vibration that’s the password to our true inner-self - this soon becomes apparent when you start reassessing your views on various things - such as your fears and desires etc. The best way to get the desired result when chanting is not to view things conventionally - rather than reaching out to an external source, we need to reach into our own lives and bring our needs and desires to fruition from within - including the good fortune and strength to achieve any help that we may need. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo also reaches out externally and draws us towards, or draws towards us, what we need to make us happy from our environment. For example, it helps us to be in the right place at the right time - to make better choices and decisions and so forth. We need to think of it as a seed within us that we’re watering and bringing sunshine to for it to grow, blossom and bring forth fruit or flowers. It’s also important to understand that everything we need in life, including the answer to every question and the potential to achieve every dream, already exists within us.
--Universe is the totality of everything that exists. If everything that exists is 'God' then 'God' is the universe. Why use an extra label?
--If everything in the universe is governed by infallible laws then, our behavior/decisions/actions are inevitably in accordance with them, no matter whether we know this or not.
--If living in harmony with the infallible laws of the universe is freedom then, we are always free no matter whether we know this or not.
Spinoza’s teachings are very similar to that of J. Krishnamurthi,s
The concept of God according to Spinoza is just the feeling of awe in human mind in front of nature and self acompanied by trying to achieve the best, it fits perfectly the ethnic religious group called Ashkenazim mindset and reality!
Interesting observation! The connection between Spinoza's concept of God and the Ashkenazim mindset truly offers a rich perspective on the relationship between philosophy, religion, and culture.

The contemporary Synagogue that coincidentally coexisted with the pantheistic or rationalistic philosopher Spinoza was centuries behind the mind or consciousness level of the philosopher Spinoza’s theory of God or nature. Therefore, it was but natural for the synagogue to oppose the idea that the philosopher embraced in rejecting the traditional view of Pentateuch presented in genesis to the people and explained the creation of the universe by the transcendent God. Spinoza was a monoist who saw the God and the nature as an inseparably single entity.
Here, we see the most shocking challenge to the biblical narrative of God and the nature that Bible teaches to the people. The rationale behind the theory of the philosopher was against the anthropomorphic nature of God because Spinoza didn’t believe in the personal deity that interfered with the human or their earthly lives or affairs.
The ethical theory of the philosopher excludes the deity from the human parameters of good and bad. This means that the two sides held distinct views on the same subject. Spinoza’s theory is the antithesis of the genesis and its conclusion on how the universe originally came into being and who began it.
Nevertheless, the Spinoza’s theory continues to bother the synagogue and the church; and they also observe silence as well, because in the silence they see the advantage and if they confront the philosophy of the Bruch Spinoza, they may be inviting trouble and they may avoid it.

The "freedom" first mentioned at 7:53 begins to sound like the difference between the old and new covenants, or Judaism and Christianity.
Before Spinoza's philosophy, life was lived BY the 'laws' of humanity.; after, in harmony WITH the laws.

The Judeo-Christian is properly understood to be panentheistic vice pantheistic. The God of the Bible is not everything, but directly supports and enables everything. The universe exists as a thought in God’s mind. God fully holds all of the universe together, from moment to moment. And so what we observe reflects God’s thoughts. But got, while creating and sustaining the universe, exists infinitely beyond the time and space that we can observe.

Spinoza’s religious understanding is that of Christianity as seen from outside the Christian upbringing. Our father
Free will comes from the sharing. If god had a plan and we were forced to follow it then we wouldn’t be free but since God is nothing because it shares all, god IS everything at the same time as nothing because it’s sharing to reveal between. Same as we predict using differences, we don’t see it as between but it’s between nothing and infinite and relativity shows us we can expand our differences and expand the matrix. Not matrix as simulation but matrix like a rubix cube. This planet is a matrix of things and we are emergent from this matrix. We travel and share to expand and explore and grow. The bubble of the multiverse isn’t just like a bubble, we are a bubble containing and sharing. The multiverse is what we see but we are the differences predicted and predicting and revealing/sharing in differences themselves. We see God in everything because we were shared the knowledge of god just like good and evil and that’s why we shouldn’t judge or believe one thing is god, because nothing IS good or evil, nothing IS God because that would be like denying the rest of god or what could be because we don’t believe or see a path. If god truly exists then it would probably sacrifice itself to share everything or in other words allow reality to bloom with freedom. That’s why no one thing IS God but we can share it with everything.

Hello! I'm glad to hear you're interested in delving into Spinoza's ideas! A great introduction to his work is 'Spinoza: A Very Short Introduction' by Roger Scruton. It's concise and provides a clear overview of Spinoza's concepts in an accessible manner. Over sweet, flavored milk chocolate is tempting...dark low sugar 70% or 85% unflavored chocolates not so much... it's actually a health food, an excellent source of iron!💪🤓😉
How wonderful God is..
He educate us in many ways.. that He always here..
Hinduism or Buddhism.. or Christian or Muslims.. or Zoroastrism etc... whichever teach you good manners and submit to God.. who actually taught us? Thats our God..
Good personified as god.
Evil personified as devil.
Biochemistry determines himan nature.
Psychology understands human nature.
People must evolve into the Highest Divine Consciousness,, and then you are God, walking in the flesh!!!
God created Man in His image . Nature was created by God and we Man have also the capacity to create ( through ideas , imagination , planning , building ). God is a Divine Spirit Being with a mind and personality and He has endowed us with a mind and personality with creative capabilites . The Muslims and the Jews, Chistians and other religions understand this concept .I think that was the essential part Spinoza was missing even though he was an outstanding philosoopher . Bur faith comes by revelation from God not just through philosophical musings. When we follow the teachings of Jesus we get to know and understand God better .
Thank you for your profound comment, henrym.7858! You touch on a crucial point about the difference between revealed and philosophical knowledge. The idea that true understanding can come through multiple avenues is something that many thinkers, including Spinoza, explored in their own ways.
I am the Sum of God, and there was never a Son of God!!!!
Thank you, I see that you understand!!!
I like that.
Was Spinoza the first pantheist?
Spinoza is often seen as one of the first to really dive into pantheism, suggesting that God and Nature are essentially the same thing. While there were some similar thoughts floating around before him, Spinoza was the trailblazer who put it into a clear and influential framework in Western philosophy
@@_FollowTheWhiteRabbit I follow the teachings of the Buddha, and I feel like he was basically saying the same thing. Just without the science background. I wish I wish Spinoza could have known about the Big bang. I feel like the big bang puts a lot of credibility behind pantheism.
That's a very interesting reflection, aleonyohan6745! Indeed, concepts like the Big Bang can shed new light on how we interpret ancient philosophies. Imagining Spinoza with access to modern science opens up a fascinating field of 'what ifs?'.
I think a lot about existence ,god ,the meaning of life and all the rest .The only answer I have so is that we do not know. All we have is beliefs and faith. And with Quantic mechanics even the material world is uncertain. cynick
God is beyond matter, atoms, sub atoms, neutrinos
🙂🌎⏳🙏♥️
spinozas god is not fully correct
bcz i think god is specific personal entity which can make descision to create an universe
but yes its half correct as by definition god is everything
The beauty of philosophy lies in exploring these different perspectives and seeing that often they converge towards the same meaning. Tks for your opinion! 🐇🤍
Psychologically speaking, it's pretty unhealthy to go around saying that other people's subjective opinion is wrong.
Spiritually speaking, you do you. You are God, you can't do any wrong. You're not actually looking out into the world, telling other people that they're wrong. You're looking into your own mind and just having conversations with yourself 😊
@@jaypritchett17 but if god wanted u to existence he has only one option and that is to create u
and this is the best way of creation logically
Different people mean different things when they use the word "God." Intelligent people do not ascribe human characteristics like intelligence, intention or planning to God. People who are driven by infantile yearnings for a protective father or powerful king are not looking for truth, they are looking for an illusion they can bear to live with.
Religion is darkness.
... that keeps them right where the psychopaths want them. In complete fear.
Only fools believe and consider as sacred the supernatural fairy tales, fictions, and myths just because a book claims itself to be the holy truth.
👉👽?
None of the religious book is written by any God it's human being who wrote it..Mahatma Jyotiba Phule 🇮🇳 India a great philosopher social activist a reformer a revolutionary whose wife started First school for girls womens in 🇮🇳..
The only philosophical path is Buddhists Albert Einstein..
I think God is Karma. I believe there is an afterlife with no God that can talk to you. Karma is the same as every action has an equal and opposite reaction. That is just my belief so don't try to blow me up because I don't believe in your God ok!
Yes. You can say that Karma is the rule that everything must follow. "You Reap What You Sow" - some is this life and the rest in your next reincarnations.
It is difficult to believe in an identity that is not proven to exist. As a species we have control of our personal future to a certain extent, and at other times do not have control of things outside of our influence. That is why I find prayer a useless endeavour.
Yeah God does not need our prayers.. we need our prayers.
@@glenngreenstein We have our will to make things happen, thus the one’s that persist succeed. Thus we should take the successes with joy, and accept mistakes.
True emptiness is the only real reality inconceivable emptiness how?
Nobody knows
But that's what Hinduism is all about as far as i know. The idea was there way before where the hell THIS spinoza guy came from 😂 he is taking the credit 😂
lick lick lick
Spinoza's God makes no sense to me. It would mean that God is an incoherent being who constantly hurts itself for no reason.
That is because of finite human perspective
So according to Spinoza, who is Satan?
Ego.
He does not believe it exist, Spinoza said something like "if a being that is separate from God does exists, we should all pray for it."
I never met my biological father. Yet, I know he exists. I don't believe in the biblical God. The stories are too Shakespearian, but I do believe in Stephen King is real.
Hate these ai generated portraits that are so often used in thumbnails and everywhere else on social media.
Ha, ha, ha, god?
Which one?
There are enough of them.
So, which one?
There was never an origination of anything
What a claim without any shred of evidence
No! I would not waste my time on a scientist whom I know believe in theories, and trial and error! Why are you so focused on who believes more than God himself FYI, analyst caution against delusional hypothesis, like E=MC(squared)! It drove Einstein batty! Maybe narrow your approach to research, instead of analogy! Your data is too small!
Pan-antheistic...
Spinoza does not equate the God with the Universe. The Universe is just one expression of God. Said differently, the Universe is an infinitely small subset of the God. Spinoza's God has much more attributes than the Universe. Also, the immortality of soul is a derivation within Spinoza's philosophy, which for modern science is a tabu. There are many other differences between what modern science claims and Spinoza's philosophy.
Christianity is an obvious copy of about 6 other religions that predate it. It’s ridiculous that grown adults believe in it.
Do you believe in God mister Einstein when you don't even believe in Jesus when he tells you that he forgives you. I believe but His own people never accepted Him. Shame on you. He preached love and your religion preaches hatred
