It's obvious the Niche has a stronger motor. The Starseeker likely has gear reduction.Maybe the Niche does also ?
All things considered , including prices (you could buy 3 Starseekers or the price of one Niche) , the Starseeker is a much better value and looks nicer over the outdated looking Niche in my opinion.

Hey, can you tell me if the recommended clicks in the manual work for you?
It says that the espresso should be between 15 and 35, but my machine froze on every attempt. I only got a decent extraction at click 62, I'm worried about that.

It actually depends on the beans, the dose size, and many factors. Anyway, I am always falling around 30 to 40. Less than that choke the machine.
You should worry only if you can't grind finer and still the extraction is fast. But grinding at high numbers like that means you have plenty of range to play with, which is amazing. 😇

Yes and it has a very wide range for that. I grind my espresso around 30-40 steps from zero.
