I have the AEV 3.5 lift on my 2016 Rubicon unlimited with 35” tires. Thinking of trying this stabilizer out.

I installed that kit on my JK Recon 6spd last year. Awesome kit. Also did their BJs. Used their normal dampner. Love it. Drives better than brand new. Use some red locktite on the large jam nuts because they will come loose.

Thanks! Ball joints are next! I'll definitely drop in some loctite, should have done that initially

We need to see this on the trail. Show some wheeling videos!

You're right! And I wish I had footage of this off-road to share. The thing is when I'm off-road I'm driving and having fun with my crew, and not really trying to set up my camera and tripod! I 'll have to make an exception soon and do one though!

I want to install this on my JK, but I'm running the Metal Cloak HD Steering upgrade it (larger diameter tie rod than stock) and not sure it will fit.

My tie rod is also upgraded and larger diameter. Comes with a stock size clamp and larger, you'll have to do some research on the diameters to make sure it'll fit

Nice vid my fellow Canadian 👍 just got a new 2023 rubicon xtreme recon and find the steering a tad sloppy..like from 11-1 seemingly always needing input to keep it going straight.. dealer guy drove it with me and said maaaa feels alright to him lol but I’m not convinced…was thinking of using this shock from watching some vids but one guy said he had bad experience with it where it was to tight even with adjustments… going to take it to dealer to see if there is any update for the steering on computer and am sure it has the upgraded metal steering box.. any ideas? Should I try this shock? Expensive here like 500$ appreciate the time friend 🙏

Unfortunately this steering stabilizer will do nothing to solve that issue. It could be anything worn out in your steering components and suspension. My jeep only started to drive completely great after replacing worn out wheel hubs. A steering stabilizer will only do its job once everything else is in order, otherwise it might amplify the issue

@@RubiconUnlimited I wouldn’t imagine anything is worn out it’s a brand new vehicle lol hopefully it’s just a simple update or something ..thanks anyway! Enjoy watching your content 👍

Ah gotcha! Well that's definitely strange! Larger tires? Thanks for watching

The Jk had a terrible design for steering stabilizer.
