I had the honor of meeting this dear saint last year in Florida. When all the other preachers were signing books, Paul Washer was shaking people's hands and asking people about their life. When all the other preachers had left, he was still there, refusing to leave until he talked to every person in the line to meet him. This all after he had preached and was still recovering from heart surgery and a team of people were urging him to go to the car. He was determined to meet each person. He has been such a blessing in my life and encouragement in my own ministry as a pastor.
I’m an alcoholic need God so much but this man has the eyes of a man that cares so deeply about the souls of mankind! I’ve never seen a preacher like this!
My best friend is in the US and I am in the UK but we FaceTime each other and listen to his sermons and others from John MacArthur as well, and we love the journey of sanctification that the Lord has enabled us to embark on. Grateful to all the men that have responded to God’s call to preach and teach doctrine. THE LORD IS OUR REFUGE!
Born again, Paul Washer has helped push me further closer to God. I am so happy that despite some bad things happening to me. I have forgiven the man who repeatedly raped me as a child. I have forgiven all those who hurt me. I cannot forget BUT I CAN FORGIVE. And so day by day I tread my path through the VERY NARROW GATE. I too have forgiven my abusers, not on my credit but His, as I see that, those horrible things I went through, pushed me to the edge of the cliff, where I was so close to 'Exit'...Unless He'd found me, I would've given up life. What good in me that He intervened in my life? What motivated him to save me? He saved each one of us... His eyes were upon each of us, since the beginning, and he knows the paths we've tread, and will go into... But he brings us back into the right path to celestial city. I strayed so many times. Faithful is He our Shepherd, who held our hands when we cried and brought us back to the pathway to life. God is with us, He is our joy 😊 He is our everything...😊
Because we understand our fearful responsibility to the Lord, we work hard to persuade others. God knows we are sincere, and I hope you know this, too. Are we commending ourselves to you again? No, we are giving you a reason to be proud of us, so you can answer those who brag about having a spectacular ministry rather than having a sincere heart. If it seems we are crazy, it is to bring glory to God. And if we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit. Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” - 2 Corinthians 5:11-20 (NLT)

I love this and the voice speaking it. I have gotten a very deep revelation of a message. I have never thought it this way of why God the Almighty said that my weakness is where His POWER PERFECTS at. He is compassionate. But it is best to go to Jesus on His terms. He promised that your eyes will be opened to see Him. Jesus said, You must be born again. John 3:3-8. "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit." Verses 3:5-6. Born again is regeneration. Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary online. 'Regeneration means; Reproduction, the act of producing anew. In theology, New birth by the grace of God, that change by which the will and natural enmity of man to God and his law are subdued, and a principle of supreme love to God and his law, or holy affections, are implanted in the heart.' Implanted. Humbling isn't it. We cannot do that. So who does God look to? the humble and contrite ones. Psalm 34:18 and Isaiah 57:15. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to you, Luke 11:13. He will bring your sins to mind. As he does ask Jesus to forgive you. This will be painful, PRIDE HATES IT. When you see your desperate need (Jeremish 17:9) for a Saviour, call out to Jesus to save you. He came to save sinners. Then do as the risen Jesus commanded, be baptized. Matthew 28:18-20, in the water of repentance Mark 1:1-5, Matthew 3:6. Calling on the name of the Lord, Romans 10:9-13. How? As Peter preached Acts 2:21, 38 and as Paul did, Acts 22:16, Acts 19:1-5. Think on Mark 16:16, 2 Peter 3:9, Romans 6:3-11, 1 Corinthians 12:13 and Colossians 2:6-15. When He has regenerated you, you will desire Him. Read His inspired word, the Authorized Version, the King James Bible. The Spirit of truth will lead you into all truth. His word strengthens, washes (as does His powerful blood). His word reads you Hebrews 4:12. Daily bible reading and prayer is essential in building on the foundation which is Christ Jesus. PS. The other apostles were already baptized, they baptized others. John 4:1-2. Read His preserved word, the Authorized Version later called the King James Bible. When your mind comes under attack, speak the truth. Speak God's promises. You are in my prayers praying for comfort and peace, you are smart ,you are on the right track God loves you, this world is not our home, we will have doubt and hard times to get to the other home, ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin ,ask him into your heart as your Savior , and then tell someone, then on a daily basis study your bible, pray daily, your doubt will get less and less,.
