The LORD is glad to help anyone with a humble and contrite that trembles at His word( all 66 books of scripture) . Read that passage in Isaiah. Be encouraged in the Word of GOD.

This hits home because it is how I feel. I was raised with God in my life. As I got older I realized that I wanted to seek him for myself, rather than just to listen to the stories and messages from other people. As I studied the Bible on my own I became afraid of God. I was so self-absorbed with not being good enough and not being able to be good enough. At some point that fear of failure became my downfall. I thought, if I can't do it, then what is the point in trying? I realize now how crafty the accuser is in his ways. I believed the accuser and I turned my back. What a sad, sad decision. It took me so many years to come back to God, that when I finally did I came back feeling even more tainted than when I started. I started to pour back into the Word of God and those old feelings came back, even stronger now because of the lifestyle I lead when my back was turned. I gave into the flesh in every way. I often cry now because of the life that I chose and how the sins have left scars on my mind, body and soul. I still struggle all the time feeling like I am not good enough, like I am undeserving, like I cannot be redeemed. It's always because I feel like I want to redeem myself, but that is not how it works. I know that is not how it works and yet, I still find myself thinking those thoughts - that I am not good enough. Now I use those feelings to direct me deeper towards God, in prayer, in worship and in study of his word. I still struggle with trying to be obedient to earn my own redemption vs wanting to be obedient because I am grateful for the love and the sacrifice and redemption that was offered to us even while we still sin. I want to know God more. I want to know his word more. I want to know his love more. I want to be able to share it with others, but I still struggle with it so much myself.
Paul is such a genuine hearted person that even his hardest sermons don't feel like he hates you but they cut to the heart. Praise God for this man. Thank you Lord for someone like Paul Washer

I'm turning 35 in two weeks and I'm still struggling with my faith to this day. I am NOT a True Christian and I don't claim to be one either but I am trying and working towards becoming into one. However, I find it very difficult and challenging for myself to follow Christ because for so long I have been living in my own flesh that I have fallen into my own selfish desires and guilty cheap pleasures of this world that surrounds us. I feel like the door has gone even more narrow for me to come back home to Christ that sometimes I wanna give up. Jesus said "These people profess my name with their mouth but their hearts are far away." that line specifically is a reflection of me. I do believe and accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior and that He died for my sins so that I may be saved. But to this day I am still struggling with sin... Please pray for me my brothers and sisters in Christ.
hello, Don't listen to Paul Washer, he will fill you with guilt and fear. Listen to Jesus, he will give you peace, strengthen you, transform you and give you courage
We will struggle with sin until day of death. And it's in the Scriptures, that is war with our flesh and our self.
But also through faith, God's grace and the Holy Spirit we should have victories.
What I mean is - there are temptations, there is struggle but we should not continue in sin, should not continue in falling.
At the beginning it was hard to believe that I could live without anger and falling under fleshly desires.
But now I don't fall in those things, and I fight for another victories.
You are not a Christian because now you’ve attained a certain level of righteousness. You are made a Christian through Christ and his finished work alone. Being born again means the work has been done for you and you rest on him to change your life. Continue to seek after God through prayer if you are struggling with sin. I can’t speak for everyone but for me there was a decreasing pattern of sin in my life without much effort on my part to remove my sin

The fact that you are troubled by your sin shows that you love Jesus. Continue to pray and surrender your life to Him. Jesus is with you and wants to help you fight against temptation. When that temptation comes, call upon the name of the Lord and He will give you the strength to overcome. God bless you🙏

My 28 year old granddaughter wrote me asking me, “ How does it feel knowing you’re life is coming to an end?” My granddaughter is only started to believe there is a God.
I said to her, “ I know and Trust and have Faith that God is Truth, I look forward to my end.” Not that I am perfect in any way, but He is.”

Paul said- absent from the body is presence with Christ. - that's how it feels. Pure joy, love, and peace in His presence.
We all can learn from each other as Christians. Paul Washer teaches us to look to Christ and Him crucified, and I love him for it.
That's what church is about. Sharpening our understanding of the gospel so we can help save others. If you don't hear about the good news of salvation when we repent and turn from sin, you're NOT IN A CHURCH. Don't be deceived by the performance arts of some churches. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life! Amen.
If the young could only see him let's teach them to look at the cross it's the only way to turn these young ones around they are so blinded by the world we must help them see.

It's so easy to hold these men up as idols, but recently with R. Zacharias and Steve Lawson as examples of how easy it is to fall, I'm reminded to take heed, lest I, too, fall in sin. Jesus died for sinners like me! Thank you, Father for your grace and mercy!

I feel so convicted :( I often am not motivated to obey and follow because of Christ's love for me, but rather because I want things to go well for me in eternity.
It’s all about Christ. There is no ‘going well’ for you in eternity. If you go to heaven it will be glorious beyond anything we can imagine. It’s all about Him, loving Him, obeying His word and giving up all of your earthly desires for Him. You must take up your cross daily for Him. There’s nothing you can do to earn anything. Read the word, study the word and focus on Him not your life.
Conviction is good, for repentance is required but remember the purpose for those who “Believe “ is to glorify God through our lives…..Be watchful, to make sure you are not tares for they will be separated. Amen.
@@laveanniaburton3480 I think you guys misunderstand. Maybe I'm expressing myself in the wrong way. I believe with all my heart that I was born again, that Christ called me out of darkness into His marvelous light, and that I am walking in newness of life. I was merely expressing how I aware I am of how much I fall short; in this case, often having a desire for escaping hell more than a desire to actually be with Christ. In this sense, I want to be able to say that even if there were no hell, I would still want to be with Christ as opposed to not existing so to speak. We must also remember 1John that if we say that we have no sin then we are liars and the truth is not in us. I struggle, like all of us should, just like Paul did. We must encourage one another.
My deepest apologies. I meant no harm or offense. Self examination is an attribute the we Believers all must do and how you know that you are in the Faith. The Holy Spirit, convicts, counsels and comfort. Spurgeon has a sermon on self examination. May God bless and keep you..
I so understand what you are going through. I’m a Christian and I’m so scared of going to hell. I love God but I’m not really good at love and I fall short in so many areas of my life. I’m scared of hell and I can’t believe it’s either heaven or hell. Hell is torture and why would God who is so loving inflict torture on his children. Mum is so good to me and helps me so much but it appears because she is a non believer she will be tortured. I’m not understanding how this could happen to mum. I’m so worried about everyone’s destiny and it’s easy to get motivated about that because of the fear of hell. I don’t want my family or me to be tortured and sometimes I think God is so strict that I worry I’m not going to be good enough for heaven ☹️
I'm going through a really hard time in my faith and sanctification, sometimes it seems that this battle will never end, but I can relate with what Paul said, that even our weaknesses show us the love of Christ, and that was very helpful, God's grace is everything
Read the word hours and hours a day it will recuse you. I found the hardest points in my life regarding faith was when I was neglecting his word and prayer.

Please pray for my mum and brother. She has dementia and is losing her memory. She talks about my brother all the time, but isn’t able to contact him and all she wants is to see him one more time before she forgets him. Please pray for healing for them both.
I am in prayer for both your mum and brother. Please do also make sure to add sufficient vitamin D3 with K2 to mum's diet, hopefully its not too late in helping with minimizing the dementia. Blessings❤, in Jesus Christ.

I am grateful to say that I am a born again Christian and have been since I was 19.......yes indeed i enjoy listening to this dear man of God Pastor Paul Washer and I much pray God's peace and comfort on him and his family each and everyday and that God uses him and his ministry mightily to much glorify and lift high the king of kings and the lord of lords!!!!!! to God Be All The Glory!!!!! Great Things He Hath Done!!!!!! and all hail king Jesus!!!!! the king of kings and the lord of lords!!!!!! however folks these days are getting darker and Christ is coming soon and if you don’t know Christ as your savior then it burdens my soul to think that you are headed for a terrible place called Hell where the Bible says the fire is never quenched and the worm dies not! Folks you are not promised tomorrow! If you want to know how to be saved from this horrible reality then please by all means don’t hesitate to comment right back so I can lead you to the savior! 2 Corinthians 6:2 clearly states “now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation!” And Hebrews 3:15 clearly states, “Today if you hear his voice don’t harden your hearts! it is not me but the Holy Spirit that I pray reveals to you the truth of his precious gospel......John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes on him will not perish but have everlasting life! V 17 says then V 18 says whoever believes on the son is not condemned but whoever does not believe on the son is condemned already because he has not believed on the son whom God has sent! Also Acts 16:30-31 what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house I am not threatening anyone but just warning them what will happen if they reject this precious gift of eternal life! Christ died a horrible criminals death! He was beaten brutally mocked spit upon and endured countless hours of torture pain for all of our sins! Ppl go to hell because they reject that pardon for their sins! And Jesus is saying to them in Matthew 25:41 depart from me you cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels! Hell was only prepared for Satan and his angels! It is not God who threatens anyone it is the craziness of rejecting the free pardon of salvation! It’s like if you’re in court you’ve committed a crime say you murdered someone! Now if you say to that Judge hey I know I’ve done a terrible thing of murdering that person but I hear you’re a good judge and so I know you’ll be fair to me...... the judge is going to reply well yes you’re right about one thing I am a good judge and because I’m a good judge I’m going to see to it that you’re punished and that justice is served! Well then all of a sudden someone you don’t even know comes forward and says you know what I know he’s committed the crime he’s committed and he deserves to go to jail but I really don’t want to see him go to prison so I’ll just go to prison for him so he can go free! So if you accepted that offer you’d be free to leave the courtroom but if you didn’t well you’d be crazy and go to prison yourself! Well that’s exactly how it was 2,000 years ago! He is God in human flesh and he came to this earth lived a perfect sinless life and even though he knew that we had sinned and because of our sins deserved to die miserably but he said no I don’t want to see them suffer so I will go and take their punishment for them! Even though he did absolutely nothing wrong still he chose to take the punishment for our sins so we can be set free from the power bondages and consequences of our disobedience to God! Romans 5:8 says For God commends his love toward us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us! 1 John 2:2 says he was made to be the propitiation for our sins! And not just for our sins but the sins of the whole world! 2 Corinthians 5:21 He who knew no sin became Sin for us that we would be made his righteousness! The truth is if you had to get to Heaven by your own effort then you cannot do it! Because Romans 3:10 says there is not one that does good! No Not One! Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death! But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord! But the good news is Romans 10:9 If we confess with our mouth and believes in our hearts that Christ died for our sins then was raised from the dead we will be saved! V 10 For it’s with the heart we believe and it’s with the mouth confession is made unto salvation! God gave us 10 commandments to follow and we’ve broken every one of them! And because God is a good God he cannot allow our disobedience to him to go unpunished! Well then like I just mentioned above his son Jesus stepped forward and said no I don’t want to see them punished so I will take their punishment for them! And also like I said he died a terrible substitute criminal’s death for us on a cross so now all we have to do is accept that payment for our sins and we can escape the terrible wrath of God that is to fall on them who do not accept this atonement that was sacrificed for our sins! Praise the lord Romans 10:13 says Whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved! And 1 Peter 1:4 you’re an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you! Christ clearly said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father but through me! Acts 4:12 clearly states that there is no other name given unto Heaven or earth by which we must be saved as there is salvation in no other! Jesus clearly states that there is clearly only one way to Salvation and it’s him that’s it! There is no other way! God Bless everyone who reads!

As a charismatic Christian, we can often lose our focus on the centrality of the finished work of Christ and the redemptive work of the cross. I love how Paul Washer emphasizes that.. The love of Christ compels us, not living our best life now.

The veil was lifted from my eyes hearing one of Washer's sermons. I no longer agree with his calvinistic viewpoint but he is definitely a true man of God.

There is a great motivation to learn of Jesus Christ visiting Ancient America reading and studying 3 Nephi Chapter 11 in the Book of Mormon. Ezekiel 37: 15-17 in the Old Testament teaches that there are two sticks or records one for Judah and the other for Joseph!

What Paster Paul said was very true. We should always look upto and fix our heart, mind, eyes to our Lord and Saviour, not to even the most godly men. Cause there is at least a slightest chance for men to fall, but not Jesus Christ our King, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I have utmost respect to preachers like Paul and wish that every Christian and non believers have such pastors/leaders.
No one dies the body dies we all leaving here to enter into life forever where in God’s presence or ….. if you want to find love and joy believe on Jesus’ faithfulness of God’s Word
What a wonderful conversation. I love that Paul said over the years he’s grown so much in his understanding of his recognition of how much he needs God. I want to get to that place. I struggle so much but very slowly realizing that it’s God working weakness into my life to not use the arm of the flesh but to rely on Him fighting for me and loving me.

I think about Jesus each and every day since the day I was saved in September of 2012. I my soul mourns for him each and every day. I love his word and I have repented from each and ever sin that was in my life. Thank you God for your son Jesus and the Holy Spirit!
I wish i could sit with Paul Washer only to express in words the love and the joy in Christ i have for that he (Paul Washer) is able to see that everything is about Him(Christ), i would have SO MUCH JOY AND I WOULD JUMP OUT OF EXCITEMENT TO HUG HIM AND OVERFLOW JOY by we saying from the bottom of our lungs, CHRIST IS WONDERFUL, EXTRAORDINARY, MARVELOUS AND THERE IS NOTHING WE COULD BE MORE JOYFUL FOR THAN REJOICING IN THE FACT THAT WE BEING ABLE TO RECOGNISE THIS ALONE IS ALSO A REASON TO JUMP AGAIN AND SCREAM THIS TIME, THAT CHRIST IS GOD AND THANK GOD FOR THAT WE ARE ABLE TO SAY THAT.

I don't think grace ,love,truth,judgement etc are even adequate enough words to describe the Gospel message of Christ.The Father,Son and the Holy Spirit are beyond description to me but I love them all dearly and thank them immensely for saving a true wretch like me.

Paul said something great, if we think about our sanctification, where we are and where we think we should be- I believe however we must not hold fast to our own expectations of ourselves and our own sanctification, “he always uses the least of the least” “God always looks for the runt of the litter” he uses the small people for his mighty purpose. Hallelujah!
The apostle Paul calls us to boast in our weakness-
Never loose sight, grow weary or dismayed . The Lord in his perfection , will Finnish what he has began in us in his time and his perfect will.

I pray those who are not , that the Lord gives them revelations, that he will reveal himself , that he will give them ears to hear and eyes to see- Heavenly Father, our God in heaven, soften there hearts - I pray to grown the kingdom of heaven .

Always appreciate Paul Washer. This discussion is of course as always so providential, because I am currently reading in Thomas Shepard's Parable of the Ten Virgins how we can know both Christ's love to us as well as discern whether we truly love Christ and hence are ready to meet him, whether our lamps are full, and this is an issue with which I have been struggling myself, living in the superficial spiritual wasteland of the Chicago suburbs and not knowing personally any fellow genuine believers. The church I love is Truth Community Church in Cincinnati, and I would move there in a heartbeat if I were in any financial position to do so.
And I as well have long loved Luke 5, the calling of Peter, long before I was converted from a lifetime of Roman Catholicism, but it took me a long time meditiating on it before the Lord opened up the Scriptures to me; it means so much to me that this is a favorite passage of Washer's as well.
