The last few words of this message of a God who says, "look at my servant, who has nothing, walks in darkness, but trusts in my Name". Surely eight years ago my mother passed away, six years ago my late mother's property was sold at a significant loss, now after living in a Retirement village on the opposite side of Sydney, with not enough calateral to purchase a home for myself, renting, this morning I was reading 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. Every day I am alone, and every day I have to trust the only One who walks with me, the Lord Jesus. Yes, trusting Him, when there appears to be nothing, no one. Thank you Paster Washer for these messages. These messages have encouraged my heart and soul.
Trust!!! By the grace of the unshakable Lord Jesus I commit to trust His Promises! HE gave them, HE will keep them, and HE is not a man that He should lie.
I always feel like salvation depends on what I do rather than trust. I have to turn from sin, I have to pray, I can do that but I’ll hate it. Jesus won’t change me, I first have to love him from the beginning and hate sin, well how the heck does that work, it doesn’t!
Feelings are fleeting God is eternal full of Grace... Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your on doing; it is the gift of God
There is nothing wrong with experience and emotions but our love, joy, and peace are from the Holy Spirit which is unchanging. Don’t be a circumstantial Christian.
Walking in darkness and having no light, yet trusting? Sorry I dont get that part? If you are God's servant you have already experienced the light of Jesus via the Holy Spirit. If not that is what you need.
@@sir_marlfox I think what he means is that sometimes in our lives we feel so alone eventhough we are saved. It's like you know God is near but he feels so far, and it's in those moments that we need to have faith eventhough it seems we are in darkness

If you want to learn how to set aside the grace of God, follow the message of Paul Washer.

To see a calvinist preaching about having faith, when you can't have faith unless God gives it to you... is just ridiculous.
Knock it off. Grow up
You’re missing the point buddy lol
Faith is trust. To increase your santification level (trust level) you and God have to work together. It all link to 1st commandment.
You can't breathe another breath unless God gives you the ability. Paul is a reformed Baptist.
