I made your thai green curry before was amazing! I'm doing Greek food atm haha! Next will be Thai again properly, I go through stages where I only eat that cuisine haha! Your's will be next Siri haha ;) You seem so sweet too btw haha! Kind regards from England!
No, they are not common at all in Thai cuisine. This dish was introduced to Thailand in the 17th century by Persian merchant traders. Local Thai's made it their own, but kept a lot of influence from the original Persian recipe.... including the potatoes.

Aren't there some things (like little bones and tendons etc.) inside the chicken thigh meat that you can't eat? Do you just "spit" that out?
