6 months on from car accident

It's now 6 months on from my traumatic car accident, so while out cycling I thought I'd give an update on both the good and bad on how things are progressing.

Its great to see you back on the bike and getting stronger. I had a significant car accident in 95 which physically i have recovered from, but there are some situations that just trigger the memories. You will probably never forget but the lasting effects will definitely lessen with time. Keep putting one foot in front if the other and moving forward.

Appreciate that, pleased to hear you’ve physically recovered at least. I’ve no memory of the accident so no flashbacks yet, but being in a car sometimes make me anxious. It’s nice to hear from someone much further ahead of me in their recovery journey 👍

I'm wondering if it's a Ribble.
Good to see your health and fitness returning, just take it steady and it will continue to improve.
Mental health is a complicated subject, the brain is an amazing organ but also a complex one. Having struggled with my mental health I can relate to some of the comments you expressed on here.

Ive looked through many of your Boardman 8.9 vids and you said the bike was a size large, how tall are you, and how did it fit? Should I get a size medium since I am 5"10?

I am 5'11", went for a large but was never sure I'd chosen the right size. You sound like you'd be a medium but would strongly suggest going to a shop and trying one out for size.
