A walking tour of Roanoke, Texas (The Unique Dining Capital of TX)

Roanoke is a small town of about 10k people located midway between Dallas and Fort Worth. It's regarded as a suburb of Fort Worth, and it's known as the unique dining capital of Texas. The Oak Street area is the main stretch of road where you can walk and see restaurants and breweries and such, ending at the Roanoke city hall building. Some places for food include Bayou Jacks Cajun Grill, Babe's Chicken Dinner House, Oak St. Pie Company, Dizzy Lucy's, Hard 8 Pit BBQ, Inzo Kitchen and Los Molcajetes Mexican Restaurant. Soul Fire Brewing has hosted some live music before and the Chop Shop is a big music venue owned by Randy Rogers.
