Sarah Carey is the editor of Everyday Food magazine and her job is to come up with the best ways to make fast, delicious food at home. But she's also a mom to two hungry kids, so the question "What's for dinner?" is never far from her mind -- or theirs, it seems! Her days can get crazy busy (whose don't?), so these videos are all about her favorite fast, fresh meals -- and the tricks she uses to make it all SO much easier.

I make mine baby spinach, strawberries, dried cranberries, and caramelized crushed pecans, and i dress it with balsamic vinegar and little brown sugar. Oh my God 😍 you wont need dessert after that

I would add a touch of toasted sesame oil to the dressing.

Pretty salad but x-nay on the feta. :/ I'd rather use crumbled goat cheese or leave it out altogether. But spinach and strawberry salad is wonderful!

Looks good but would it work the same without the almonds, my system doesn't like nuts at all.

I think it would be a little bit different but still tasty.

I believe It would taste the same, but without something to bite and the creaminess of the almond would be gone.

I love pecans, spanish peanuts [and rice] but both run thru me like the proverbial "s^&t through a goose" so I avoid them. I'm going for the no almonds and if it's a flop, I won't do it again :)

i realize that this might just be the ultimate in 1st World complaints, but i like it better when you film on the other set. i like seeing the activity in the background. this set is gray, dull and boring - no color, no life. i'll watch regardless, just had to get that one off my chest. :)
