  • KAMAS, Utah (KUTV) - Summertime in Utah brings campers, and campers bring bears.
Several campgrounds in the state have been closed due to repeated visits from bears. One of the latest is the Soapstone Campground near Kamas.
On Tuesday, there were several reports of a black bear that had gotten into the trash at a few different campsites over the weekend, as well as a couple of dumpsters.
Out of an abundance of caution, the U.S. Forest Service decided to close the campground.

Hate to be the guy buuuuut, you're camping amongst bears, they live there, they have lived there far longer than your camp. Sounds like another bear is about to die sadly
