I’m a Filipino and I find this channel very amusing and informative specially when I think about of look in the point of view of an expat living here on how they’re doin and how they blending. Anyways, it was kinda different living in provinces compared to living in NCR. It was kinda cheaper and laid back in the provinces, more serene but living in Metro Manila has a lot of perks too. Hope y’all have a wonderful and peaceful livin in this beautiful country of ours.

Hi Mark. Kevins a smart guy financial wise and physically lookin good for his 59 years irrespective of the common cardio problem we all tend to have. I picked up on his great idea to halve the dosage and i will be talking to my GP about that soon. Medication here in New Zealand is relatively inexpensive but we plan to return permanently to our home on Cebu and that advice from Kevin, i will follow. I'm 82. Topic mail, I used to send from Oregon to Cebu, pretty consistent three to four weeks, but seems like one time it was only about 10 days.. unreliable and erratic LOL the Filipino way. If you see a lot of the driving you'll notice much of it is just tunnel vision and consistent movement.. sounds like Mom's method that totaled my Mopar. I'm pretty impressed with the all the interesting guys that are recently moving to Dumaguete, and I really congratulate all the new friends and romances that originate I've seen a lot of that over the years some of the most unlikely couples and they're just good forever always smiling. That's the good life hope I can get there soon

Auto enrollment of part B is ONLY if you still have a USA address on your SSA account. If you have changed it to a Philippines address prior, you will not be auto enrolled. To cancel part B in the Philippines, you have to fax a CMS-1763 form to the philippine embassy canceling part B. Wait about 3 days and then email them and ask for an update. Mine took 4 days and then it was uploaded to the SSA system. FYI, you cancellation is not effective until it is physically uploaded to the USA system even if you entered a date prior on the form. Also, you will not get any back premiums you paid out.

I would meet more than one girl if you are going over there, don't shortchange yourself. I pity guys who talk to one girl only fly over there and have them meet them at airport and never let them out of thier sight. Travel around, chat other girls, don't limit yourself, you have one life and make the most of it. Years ago I chatted with a girl for a few months, life was grand, beautiful, educated good family, etc. Got over there and no chemistery after a bout 1 week, I stayed another week with her and her family, and I had to cut ties and move on.

Hey forevermore. True o that but workarounds for all. Banks know some of the most popular VPN hotspots in USA so they block them when your using that one. Most VPN allow you to pick other hotspots in US. Try picking one in Florida or Seattle and see if that fixes that issue. As for the address. Most banks allow 2 address. One is mailing address…use the traveling mailbox for that. The other they call your physical address. I use a family member for that one. Thanks for watching me on marks channel😎

Province Highland are inexpensive. If he sold a little bit of his farm, he could replace it in the Philippines. So, if you do some research, maybe you might find an excellent opportunity to have the same lifestyle in the Philippines. I’m a southwestern cowboy and I have the same situation and I decided I would rather set up a cowboy ranch in the mountainside and have my ranch there. These are just prospective plans. I haven’t done it yet. But I’ve been looking into it, and it looks like a hot possibility

Since the subject kinda came up...
    Question...
I have a Thai wife (so to speak).
There is no paperwork in Thailand and there is no paperwork in the United States.
In other words, I "married" her in a traditional Issan ceremony with family and friends to satisfy for family and friends the the social issues of her and I spending so much time together and "cohabitation", etc.
If I officially married her in Thailand and filed the necessary paperwork to the Thai government and paperwork to the U.S. embassy, can she collect my Social Security after I die?

Problem with Philippines is the medical is bad overall. Is it cheap? For sure but you get what you pay for. I hear St. Lukes in BGC is good but expensvie but how would you get there? Most americans who retire in Philippines couldn't afford to live in BGC area.
