Great to see you out for a sunset and racing against the tide. The sky was amazing casting some lovely light on the rocks. One broken 6 stop but hey ho… They are too fragile to last when you’re chasing the light over rocks. I usually see mine flying through the air when a rogue strong south westerly gust snatches the filter out of the fingers. What system are you using? I have lots of Lee 100mm system filters that I’m thinking of selling for not a lot of money.
Take more than a filter to deter you Sir. Beautiful texture of grey on the stones mixed in with the vista it’s quite a lovely contrast.
Thankyou, it all did turn out to be a bit special
Now there's a carpe diem attitude for you: great shots, despite the so-so conditions. Filters can be replaced, memories can't. :)
Thanks Tim. Yes I certainly had to make the most of it and got some nice results. New filter ordered
Great shots Ian, I have been to Kilve a few times but never seen it like that.
No neither have I but I’ve also never seen this rock formation. It was at a low tide so not normally gone that far out, thanks for watching
What a great location. I've added it to the list of places to visit when I do eventually manage to get down there. What a bugger about the filter!! 😓
Thanks for watching. Yes check the area out you will not be disappointed
Nice video Ian. Great location, so much foreground interest to work with, you got some really nice images. Shame about the ND filter!
Thanks Peter.

Cheers mate, new one ordered 😄

Yes I do prefer early mornings but this time things worked out good.
