Russ from from 51 drones, Kelly from Ready Set Drone and I. We all agreed that the Orange Propellers had a Vibration Problem, when at idle on a flat hard surface. The originals and the Master AirScrew blue ones did not. So just be aware of that. We contacted Master AirScrew about this and they been working on replacing the orange props from customers who bought them. So far everyone that received these props are having the same issue. I’m curious to see if yours are having the same issue. Our were sent for review by MAS, so if you bought yours and there having bad vibration problems. Then just contacted them and they will replace them. Keep up the good work and have a great weekend.
hey thanks. i've watched you video on these too. i like how you used a sound meter! i finally got a reply back from MAS and offered new props or a refund. they have good customer service when they get back to you. thanks for watching and your feed back!
I’ve seen a number of reviews on the MAS orange, yours is by far the most comprehensive. I’ve ordered the orange for my MA2 just for the reduced noise (pitch). Performance difference is so insignificant I would never purchase, sound yes. Stability while on the ground is a concern. 51 Drone revealed their lack of stability which has to carry through to flight as well. When mine arrive that concern will be looked at. If it happens they go back or into the recycle bin. Thanks.
thank you i appreciate the kind words. i watched his video as well. i emailed MAS yesterday about the issue and am waiting for their response. i hope the props you get work as they should. the reduced noise was my biggest reason for getting them as well.
My main issue is that Master Airscrew customer service does not respond to emails or phone calls at all to address the issues of "fuzzy" edges and the vibration caused by their props. I have the Orange and I refuse to use them until I hear back from Master AirScrew. 2 weeks and multiple attempts and still no reply. Excellent review thank you!

Adam,, great job,,I read a lot about these, I was on the fence really, a few claim they are brittle, you , as always, did a super job on this demo
thank you!! I was expecting more in the performance department. I did the speed tests twice because I was surprised that the speed and acceleration were almost identical. I do like the color and the lower pitch sound tho!!

I had bought my orange props for my MavAir2 and noticed the drone drifted and then hit something, so I am out a prop. It is almost like buying tires for a car! Need good quality.
yeah totally. mine drifted too and ended up clipping the side of a wall. it only damages the props but could have been much worse. Master Airscrew finally contacted me offering a refund or to replace the props in a week or so. They said they are re tooling the machine to fix the issue. I chose refund.
Seems to me looking at loads of these test on MAS for Air2 that the orange ones seem to have production problem, where as the Blue or Black ones don't. Your motors in the hover seemed to be vibrating a lot. Wonder if you know anyone with a set that you could borrow and re-do the test. Best Dave
The exact same speed, is caused & limited by the GPS-governed speed.
I think that with a non-GPS or non-governed drone, that might be different.
I think that your drone's random rise in height was caused by a positioning glitch, & not the cause of the props.
I've had similar benefits of lower perceived volume with my Mini 3 Pro & Mini 4 Pro.
Just flew my air2 today had motor alerts and the edges are fuzzy have the orange props sent email to master screw
I did notice the fuzzy edge when I was flying yesterday at full speed. I think I need to switch back to the stock props. Do you mind letting me know what Master Airscrew says??
Did you have to sand or file the extra plastic off the blades when you got them?

I was thinking about getting those props they will have to be better I think I will keep my money in my pocket
I was really hoping they would make more of a noticeable difference. but I do enjoy the lower pitch and quieter tone!
I noticed that with the MAS props during the hover test the drone was shaky unlike with the stock prop, did you notice? if not watch your video.
wow now that you point that out I can really see it. I filmed that part with my phone while flying when it was plugged into the controller so I must have just thought it was bad filming. thanks for letting me know. I was out of town but when I get home I’ll contact MAS and add that issue to the list. I love the color and the lower pitch sound of them though so hopefully they will send me a new set. @@AerialMotionPhotography nope you did great but I noticed the drone was shaking and was not you shaking your phone, you can see this as well on your sound test.

Looks like a waste of money...
I heard they fixed them but yeah it’s not an overwhelming improvement. I do like the slightly quieter tone tho...
