My processor was running hot I didn't realize that they put three headers at the top I didn't need the splitter and two of them are power managed and the the center is the pump once I set it up right it cooled right down mine Idols between 40 and 45 and while gaming runs between 70 and 75 but I'm not running the monster that you are I'm running the 7700x
My new build has this board along with the Ryzen 9 7900x, 3080ti and 32gb Kingston Fury DDR5 5600 RAM, built in the Hyte Y60 case. I'm more than happy with the build.
Finally pulling the trigger on this next week after saving for over a year to build my first pc. Getting this MoBo bundled with a 7700x from Micro Center for $580 USD! Also getting the Tuf 4090 OC. Thanks for your reviews, man!

I'm using this motherboard and I did a minus offset voltage to 0.08000 and fixed the miltiplier to 50 on my 7950X and get temps with Cinebench R23 running of 70c-75c depending on room temperature. I just did another cinebench 10 minute all cores run while i watched this video and scored 41438. I'm using a Noctua NH-D15 and the room is a little chilly right now, as the heating hasn't been on long but it's not stupidly cold or anything.
@@Tritonix Sorry, no i don't do discord. I have notifications off for videos too, so only found this video again by chance and saw your reply. That cinebench score must have been an anomaly too, or it may just have been due to cool room temps as I haven't got that since. But it's not much below the full blown score when letting the cpu go full blast and i'm very happy. Even in these summer temps of 32C + in the room, it runs near silent and cool with the adjusted low fan speed profile in the bios.
AMD states support of AM5 2025 and beyond. So we have end of 2022, if they bring a new cpu gen its maybe end of 2024. So it really depends if this beyond means anything....otherwise its 1 additional cpu gen maybe max 2 gens.
Hope you get a chance to revisit this review with a better power supply, as I am interested in pairing this board with the 7950X and a rtx40 series card for sim racing in VR
@@TripleCCC05 Performance is great. I'm running everything on stock settings. Expo enabled for the ram. So far ,so good. I use an ASUS ROG RYUO III AIO. Temps stay under 75c gaming and other stuff. The Rog Strix 4090 OC is very quiet, even under load. I had some audible coil whine at first but it slowly subsided. Once in a while you can barely hear it. For VR I have a Varjo Aero and the 4090 is awesome to power it. Everything is very clear. If you go this route, good luck.

Well if you compair it to other gens its actually bad 300 bucks for a tuf MB 😉 but for current pricing forsure a good one.
@@12Burton24 totally agree, last gen with the x570 and b550 boards decent boards was easily obtained for 140 to 200 mark.

Well depends on the board rice some X670E boards are more expensive than 7950X

Is the E not for 2 chips and non E with just one X670 chip?

1000w should be enough. I’m running this with a 4090 and 7900x3d
I put a 7900x3d on this board. It's amazing. With a 4090 VR is awesome.

@@19kruger99 fine, no issues at all. I was getting betwern 100 and 120 fps on the last of us at 1440p ultra settings. Havent tried anything else yet.
