My take: We get two new scenes that add a lot to Axel in this game. The first one actually directly references his role in COM and links it to his role here in a rather karmic way, does a better job at introducing the idea that he and Roxas might have been friends in the past than just having Namine suddenly reveal it in dialogue, and explain what that whole "I'm not getting turned into a Dusk for..." business was all about. And the second one shows that he isn't dead shortly after the battle with Roxas, whereas in the original version it's just a big "WTF?" moment when he shows up alive in the middle of the game without explanation. We also get a scene between the other Organization XIII members following his death that casts a better light on the randomness of it all, and even makes it actually important to the plot when Xemnas reveals that Roxas has awoken from within Sora as a result of it. But I'm sorry, we did NOT need that long scene between his ghost and Roxas. Not only does it make no sense and throws off the whole flow of the moment it's been placed in, but it only exists to market the upcoming 358/2 Days and to appease the rabid hordes of Axel/Roxas yaoi fangirls who view their bromance as a pedoship. Granted, the scene is kind of touching, especially that last shot of Axel, but that's not enough to redeem it in my eyes.
Wtf are you even talking about at the end. First of all, it supposed to be some limbo; you know the scene between Roxas and axel are at the clock accepting their fates. I Second, how the fuck you got a yaoi vibe from that scene. It's two friends saying goodbye and accepting their fates. Lastly, do you honestly believe Tetsuya Nomura would ship them? You are really overthinking this and it's unnecessary
Axel is soo freakin tall xD how old is he? That and his voice is pretty deep...He doesn't sound or look the same age as Roxas and sora and kairi...I feel like he could be at least 18
He was around someone like Sora or Ventus’ age in BBS, and it’s been over a decade since, so it’s safe to say he’s at least 25 years old. Measuring his character model against Sora’s canon height of 5’3” also consistently puts Axel at a height of around 6’9” across the games. Man is built like a skyscraper

It's like a limbo. They finally fade once they accepted their fate. Axel finally saw Roxas again and Roxas accepted Sora.

@@arikatheprincessofhearts2043 , you not homophobic dude. Don't worry. This is coming from a gay person. The uptop is overthinking things
@@xblade149 Are you mad at me? In my headcanon Roxas is bisexual.
@@arikatheprincessofhearts2043 ah no...?
Me in the first scene:I can tell it's Axel
Friend:how can you tell that?
Me:the way he claps
1:45 - 2:02 has been stuck in my head since the 2000s
2:02 - Axel didn't flinch, shutter, or blink. The only things that moved was his hair and hood.
To be honest, I wouldn't have either.
Well, he is the organization’s assassin, so he would have to be self taught to flinch in any situation like that.
@@joshuafarmer3135 - He do what now?
I can’t believe this game is 15 years old now, the voice acting still holds up.
Thanks for the upload friend, just felt like rewatching some of these old scenes lol love this guy
Why does Axel always get stuck with the icky jobs?
Axel: talk about blank with a capital B man oh man
Axel: "Got it memorized"
Me: "Yes, daddy. 😍"
10:49
holy fuck lmao
Axel is such a pretty man 😍
Quinton Flynn as Axel
5:07 me when I open a bag of Poptarts.... 😂
2:36 can it get more anime bamf than this?
God damn do I love Axel
ROXAS!

He's definitely in his 20's
