My take:
What a turnaround! The group scenes between Organization XIII added in KH2:FM did wonders at fleshing out Xigbar's character. He still wields space-guns, still talks like a surfer, and is still an arrogant, trolling dick, but now we also see that he is dangerously intelligent and perceptive when it comes to matters of the heart and the lack thereof. And in one telling moment, he actually openly questions Xemnas, who just lets it slide, showing that Xigbar's status of "Number 2" may be more justified than initially thought.
But the biggest showcasing of Xigbar is of course "The Chamber's Secret", where he opens up and reveals that he knows much, MUCH more than I think anyone would have given him credit for - about Xemnas' past and motivations, and about the very foundation and inner workings of the Organization itself. So yeah, I like Xigbar now. He's pretty cool.
When I played regular KH2 back in the day I wondered whynhe was second in command. But BBS and DDD and Final Mix made me really curious about him. I wonder what his endgame is?

Y'know, Years ago, over a decade now, when i first played through KH2 as a child I always just *felt* that Xigbar was more important than they let on.
Boy was I on the money.
That Was the voicactour..even nonura after hearing the lines Sporen thought so. So when he startet maping out the backstory he came up with luxu

Xigbar: "Nope, never heard of him!" *Scurries off screen stage right on foot instead of using his magical teleportation powers*

The Chamber of Repose / Chamber of Waking connection he already knows
It's always "The Organization's plan" not "our plan", always "The Organization" not "us"
Pointing out every time someone implies something about Nobodies that should be impossible, but we now know isn't (related to hearts and feelings)

Like when he says; _"He used to give that exact same look."_ We thought he was talking about Roxas back then, but in 358/2 Days Roxas isn't shown getting pissed off at Xigbar. Ventus on the other hand is shown getting pissed at Xigbar.

It’s funny, when I first heard that, I knew he was talking about *somebody* as a lot of attention was drawn to it. After playing bbs, I chuckled thinking he was talking about Xehanort. Now when I hear that line, I feel played like a damn fiddle.

Execpt both obito and zetsu interacted with the hero's and had been around since part 1. If anything he's more like zetsu with the the introduction as a lackey, reveal thaht he was the right hand to the villain, and then later reveal that he was manipulating him the entire time. Just beacuse you don't like a character doesn't change the fact that this is quite literally the same thing.

Except not it doesn't. What this proves is tha nomura knows that leaving things vauge allows him to fill in thw blanks later and make people think he had a plan.

@@fightingmedialounge519 the games weren't delayed because there wasn't any story, but that the games took forever. The stories themselves, were probably written all at once, and refined over the years.

I've always side-eyed Xigbar. Compared to how straight forward his fellow Nobodies were, he seemed like he always knew more than everyone else. The big kicker for me was him telling YM that he has his "hands full with his own plans."
Couple that with how he's the one looking for/talking about the box- not Xehanort, him saying "May your heart-" before being cut off in Thebes, and being the only vessel that we didn't see fade. I didn't expect him to be Luxu, but I did have a feeling we weren't done with him.
I love Xigbar so friggin much. Easily top 5 favorite characters.

I watched Back Cover before watching KH3 and I thought the MoM reminded me a lot of Xigbar because of his mannerisms. I was shocked when I found out the latter was Luxu in the end.

@@jsh020 Xehanort was still planning everything way before he met Luxu/Braig in Radiant Garden. Luxu was just making sure Xehanort's plan worked out.
He was talking about the events of BBS, otherwise he wouldn't have mentioned finding Xehanort. All of the foreshadowing he does in KH2 is a direct reference to BBS, some of which coincidentally also applies to other titles.

Nah I doubt Nomura would pull the same trick on us again. Nobody ever expected Braig to be Luxu and that's what made it work so well. Besides KH3 already made him into a character that is under everybody's radar so it would be easy for him to betray the Organisation
SpaceTheGamer actually a lot of people suspected it just go type in luxu is xigbar/braig theory.
I actually think Vanitas out of everyone in the new organization has the biggest chance of actually being the true big bad of the series and would probably make a return in some form for future games.

The amount of planning they did with Xigbar and making us completely oblivious to his plans are astonishing... I literally had no idea this guy was the mastermind behind everything. Granted, I never really played any of the other games aside from kh2 and chain of memories. I’m sure I still wouldn’t of known even if I played all the games.
ACTUALLY: I remember beating Xigbar and thinking his response to his defeat was weird in Kh2. I definitely didn’t expect this to happen, but I thought I’d have to fight him again.

It seems xigbar recruited members 9-12 if he recruited marluixa (sorry for misspelling) which would explain how they were found with their connection to the ancient times. He would know of them since he is from those times and it would show he was spying on everyone recruited by ava to be a dandilion

Luxu seems to know that, if he was shocked back then, then it was all an act. Like the act of Braig as the fallen apprentice of Ansem the Wise who joined Master Xehanort for power, when really he was getting close to the Keyblade Wielder who was most likely to be successful to reforge the x-blade

2:51-3:08 I really think Luxu took over Brain who changed his name to Braig and became Xigbar as the nobody of Braig and during this scene we all thought it was about Roxas when it actually is about Ven when he was a Union Leader with Marluxia, Brain, Skuld and Ephemer. Thats what I think Xigbar, I mean Luxu is alluding to.
Luxu has possessed more than one body, he says that in KH3 epilogue. Maybe Brain is the first wielder of the Gazing Eye after Luxu (one of the five dandelions are supposed to have had it), and that's how the Gazing Eye journey started until Luxu recovers it in KH3.
Doesn't he give a vibe through acting not all serious all the time like a curtain someone we know?... He gives a vibe that he knows far more than anyone.

It's kind of strange how he refers to the Chamber or Repose and the Chamber of Waking as "graveyards" if you know what I mean.
I wouldn't be surprised if it does not mean anything at this point, but perhaps it's a clue towards, who was entrapped in the pods used there.
Shiroshii he didn’t refer to the chambers as graveyard. Under Ansems lab is a secret lab where Xehanort conducted experiments on people hearts. That is what he called the graveyard. Xehanort created the chamber of repose even after that place became a graveyard.

He did refer to them as "graveyards" and as you've said in the context of people entrapped there, but we don't know much about those chambers in the first place. It's still unknown, who founded Chamber of Waking, and while Chamber of Repose was created by the apprentices, we learned that Skuld/Ava was one of their first subjects.
It's not about the literal meaning, but rather making a joke-y connection to the Union leaders and Dandelions. KHX at that time did not exist, but it's already being used to tie the X Saga into the new one we'll be getting.

Ansem the wise sealed the graveyard and then AFTER Xehanort unsealed it he built a room in the back. 1. Xehanort built chamber repose not the union leaders or dandelions. 2. He hadn’t even mention the chamber of waking when talking about the already established graveyard. So you can’t relate the two. Also he isn’t jokingly referring it to a graveyard. Many of their test subjects didn’t survive. That’s the whole reason Ansem sealed it in the first place.

@@KNK44 If you mean Xemnas then I don't believe so. Girl "X" was taken by Luxu on the command of Ansem The Wise somwhere(possibly Twilight Town Mansion). At the time Xehanort was still an apprentice, so it happened sometime before KH1 and after BBS. If "X" is gone and the Organization searched for her, that means it could not be her that Xemnas talked to. He just spoke to Aqua's armor and possibly Terra or someone else.
