My take:
As usual, KH2:FM fixes things, and Saix is now presented the way he always should have been.
Also, sorry about the goof-up early on. Too late to do anything about it now.
The Mark Not to mention the added cutscenes that focuses heavily on Organization XIII.
DVJFan they added some new scenes
Saixs clear frustration at axel's death shows how much he actually cared
Saïx "if i had a heart this would be where I die of laughter" me this is where I die of laughter. This is why Saix is my second favourite character Zexion is my favourite character
sora: please, i'm begging you!!
saix: then beg
The Itachi of Kingdom Hearts
It's funny cuz he's voiced by Kisame
@@Jack574. Nani!?!?!?
@@HypeGod6969 yep, Kirk Thornton.
Well he’s not exactly a double agent like Itachi was
True he joined and became Xemnas’ flunky to know what happened to his and Axel’s mysterious lost friend, and have Axel kill off the members of Castle Oblivion, so he can advance ranks and achieve the goal.
But outside that, he was a dedicated member of the Organization until he was struck down.
@@christophersanchez7731 I’d say he was more of a double agent in KH3. After all, he orchestrated the plan to bring Roxas, Xion, and Namine back to life with the help of Vexen and Demyx.
2:47 After he fades in 3, you find out he was talking about himself. This is why I love Saïx
Xemnas: "What a shame. And here I thought we could be friends."
XD
That hair flip.
13blanket I know, so swoon worthy. Plus I often remind myself of Saïx when I do that cuz I have long hair too.
swoosh
Fabulous, isn’t it?
I said a S W O O S H
Sassy
"Pitiful Heartless, mindlessly collecting hearts. And yet they know not the true power of what they hold. The rage of the Keyblade releases those hearts.... They gather in darkness, master-less and free...until they weave together to make Kingdom Hearts. And when that time comes, we can truly, finally exist."
The unison Laugh at 3:36 is so out of character for some of them i feel. My head-canon is that before this scene Demyx basically said "Hey, Leader, when you make your cool intimidating line as we all teleport in, why don't we all do a cool laugh together?" "...I like it, Demyx"
Jamoyo The badger lol ikr
And then it came off as forced and everyone just lightning rodded Demyx.
Lmao
*afterwards at the Organization lounge*
"Demyx that was a huge mistake and we're gonna bully you."
"But boss you said-"
"Bully him now."
I love the cinematics, it feels like you're watching an anime series.
the akatsuki
Saix must have had a portion of Xehanort's heart put in him before KH2 because he goes from wanting to take over the Organisation with Axel in Days to willingly serving Xemnas in 2.
Xehanort10 i think it happened right after roxas left, considering that saix was disturbed by the fact that roxas easily mopped the floor with him, he probably wanted power to ensure it never happened again
I actually think it happened right after he turned into a Nobody, as with his scar
i think it was around when Roxas was created and Axel befriended him. he became alone and to make up for that, he started serving Xehanort to the fullest extent.
His eyes became yellower throughout the events of days/2. So I personally think it was at around the time Roxas joined.
Shocking revelations
The Mistress of all evil reduced to comic relief.
Seriously, though.
This comment aged unbelievably well.

Kirk Thornton As Saix 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
This snapping fingers seems to be quite trademark to several popular to fantasyculture, always from Avengers: Endgame to Supernatural. Such simple move and you can summon servants of darkness to your aid or explode others into atoms.
One of my fav boys Saïx! His voice is so calm though and he is quite handsome xd
The one dislike is from Saix cause u got him at a bad angle
Why... kingdom hearts... where is my heart...
Saix, what a waste of potential, only now they mention how he and axel wanted to save some unkown girl, which was his reason to join the organization and eventualy take over it. But we dunno any of this, only that he became full "evil" with no real aim on kh2. Why even bother give him a reason in kh3 if he did nothing with it? He shouldve been the real traitor(betray xemnas) in kh2 with axel as the driving force behind his actions ( save roxas and the unkown girl by overtaking the organization).

@@oryxthetakenking8275 Xemnas IS Daddy. FACTS. Xigbar is sexy too ngl! The Organization is not good for my little gay heart !! Too many spicy boys!
We still don't know how he got that scar :(
My thoughts is that it came with his berserk ability:
- Notice how when he hits the crazy state his scar goes all spiky, I think it's a side-effect.
I think it may have been a request from Kirk Thornton. He also voice acts for Hajime Saito, who has the same scar.
I can only theorize it has something to do with him becoming a Nobody
Of all the founding members of the Organization, only Isa and Lea were wearing Black Coats as humans, as shown in the DDD secret ending.
That means Isa and Lea were Dark Users as humans. It could mean he was scarred in either service to Xehanort, after he usurped Ansem the Wise, or was actively against him for some reason and was scarred by darkness from Xehanort as punishment or was even scarred by Lea when they were for some reason in conflict with him
My theory is that he got it when Xehanort turned him into a nobody. We see in BBS that Terra gave Braig his scar through darkness, and Braig still has it when he’s Xigbar, so that means the scars you have as a somebody also appear as a nobody. Axel’s inversed tears disappeared when he became Lea. Since Saïx has his scar when he’s a nobody and when he’s a somebody at the end of kh3, he must have gotten the scar when he was a somebody. I think when he and Lea got turned into nobodies by Xehanort, Xehanort mucked up his face. What really disturbs me is that if that happened, Lea probably had to watch, which adds an ouch factor for me.
One of the Ultimanias implies that the scar tells us that Xehanort “had his eye on” Saïx for a while, and there’s a Nomura interview where he mentions that the story behind how he got the scar somehow relates to Subject X and to stay tuned. This suggests to me that he probably got the scar when he was still a kid, maybe even just before he became a Nobody.
I think it’ll likely be shown (or at least explained further, considering it’s a big ass scar on his face and likely too gruesome to show 100% directly given this is a Disney game) probably in Missing Link or KH4. Nomura is definitely cooking something with the Subject X plot and Lea and Isa’s past
4:27 lol
tell me if anyone thought Saix was number 2 in the organization when you first played this game? I always thought he was number 2 not Xigbar
Same.
The number system meant nothing in terms of leadership and power. Nothing more than a chronological system of when members joined. In terms of influence Saix is No.2 to Xemnas in power structure.
Yah The members are numbered by how joined the Organization first
Xemnas was of course the first, the other 5 are the other founding members of the Organization, technically including Saïx and Axel as they were the latest apprentices of Ansem before they were turned
Ranking varies over time, as each member has their own role, although the first 6 does have seniority
Vexen is the chief scientist, head of the Replica project
Axel is the hitman assassin who hunts traitors
Demyx the Scout
Over time Marluxia was made head of the Organization facility Castle Oblivion
Zexion the co-head as he’s the head of the lower levels of the Castle
Saïx covets being the right hand man. But to achieve that, he had Axel make sure to help kill off the Castle Oblivion members, as a portion of them were founding members. With them gone, Saïx who already was indispensable to Xemnas, ensured his position as Xemnas’ right hand man
@@christophersanchez7731 I think Demyx was more the reconnaissance man of the team, but as there were less and less worlds to get more intel on, he became more lazier throughout his time in the Organization.
Given the time scale I have a feeling that Saïx and Axel likely did more menial jobs like reconnaissance and stooge work for the Organization for a while, since they were in it for about 10 years-at least until Demyx showed up and they started making him pull his weight
At least my boy Saix went out with a bang! ❤️✌🏻 my favorite member of the Organization! 😎
Kirk Thornton as Saix
Only Siax would talk about Suicide.
Who is the old sounding Nobody?
Xaldin
Is it me or the voice actor for most of the organization members sound better here did they found replacments or they just got older?
I understand what you mean but they just got older. It changes the voice over time. You can notice it a little with Sora for example. Although most of the voices are still on point IMHO.
Imo it just feels odd
They just got older. No voice actor for any of the Organization members has been replaced (in the US, that is...Vexen's original Japanese voice actor passed away some time after BBS and was replaced for KH3.)
Strangely enough he is never seen summoning his weapon...
Chain_of_Nothing ironically I wanted to see his the most
Tallen Tissychy he does in the fight where you knock his weapon out his hand you can see him summon it
He is seen summoning his claymore at the end of Days when he fights Roxas.

.
Bullshit Sora and Terranort as heartless could think and plan
Jack Mcdig Exceptions to the rule.
My major gripes with Kingdom Hearts II:
1. Making Sora dumber (though that could just be Haley Joel Osment's performance, which I thought wasn't as strong as it was in KH1. Either way, Miyu Irino is the definitive Sora to me).
2. Demoting the Heartless to basic grunts when the first game treated them as a truly nasty and sinister threat that fed off the darkness in people.
3. Reducing Maleficent (an absolutely cunning and top-tier Disney villain) to useless Team Rocket status.
4. Having the vast majority of the worlds be filler. This wasn't an issue with KH1 where all the worlds actually factored into the plot in some way, shape, or form.
Other than that, I'd say that KHII was the last truly great Kingdom Hearts game. It had many memorable moments and still has the best climax and final boss in the series.
This looks like some bad bait
@@kaihedgie1747 What do you mean? Am I not allowed to voice my legit complaints with the game? KHII is still a great game overall, but there are a couple issues I still have with it.
@@KingdomHeartsBrawler
1: Sora was never particularly smart and who's the better voice actor for him is purely a matter of subjective opinion
2: The only Heartless ever worth a damn was Ansem and even then, the Heartless were still grunts. The only reason they seem smaller is because of the presence of the much stronger Nobodies
3: So not much changed then.
4: They were filler in the original game as well and all of them, just like this game, just retells the plot of the movies.
@@kaihedgie1747 Incorrect on all counts.
1. Sora was pretty perceptive and empathetic in KH1/CoM. He was also very quick to call people out and was depicted as being more of a normal, down-to-earth kid who was wise beyond his years. KHII was when Sora started to act more emotional and "dumb," which came to a head in 3D. He felt less like a believable person and more like your stereotypical shonen hero.
2. The Heartless were generally depicted in a much more threatening and sinister fashion in KH1, with the game constantly reminding you of the threat they posed and what will happen if you don't stop them. There was a genuine urgency and sense of doom to KH1 that isn't present in the sequels. The Heartless' designs and animations were generally more threatening, too. Shadows, for instance, skulk and creep in a predatory manner as their idle animation instead of the goofy little dance they do in the sequels. You also see Heartless kill people onscreen in KH1.
3. Maleficent shares the main villain role with Ansem in KH1. She actually matters to the main plot and acts as the game's heavy. She's not a tertiary side character in the slightest (which is what the rest of the series reduced her to).
4. The Disney worlds aren't filler AT ALL in KH1, nor are they direct retellings of the movies they're based on. They each have little stories that tie in directly with the game's overarching plot. All the Disney Villains you encounter (save for the Queen of Hearts and Clayton) are working directly under Maleficent's orders and are actively searching for both the Princesses of Heart and the Keyholes so they can drown the worlds in darkness and destroy them. KH1 actually incorporates the Disney and Final Fantasy elements into the main story; they're not filler at all.
@@KingdomHeartsBrawler
1: Yeeeah, no he wasn't. Especially in CoM. Nothing normal and "down to earth" about him
2: By getting their butts kicked and only giving the Disney locals a scare? Nothing creepy about the Shadows, either. They're just lil' cute squishies you bat around without any trouble whatsoever. If you're seriously trying to play up _Shadows_ as some legitimately, creepy threat, it's starting to become real obvious your nostalgia bias is coloring your posts.
3: Ansem doesn't become the big bad until the end of the game. Maleficent's just your standard villain for most of it tempting Riku to the dark side, or telling another Disney villain to go do this or that, and she gets punked in the end, anyway
4: Oh they are very much filler. And yes they are direct retellings. . Their plots are mostly abridged retellings made to fit Sora, Donald and Goofy in them. If you've actually watched the movies, you can tell exactly beat for beat what's going to happen.
Ah yes, the Princesses of Heart who do absolutely nothing but be wall decorations and mainly have no agency or role in the story other than to be tools for the villain.
Incorporates Disney and Final Fantasy characters into the plot? You mean....just like this game that has the FFVII gang and Squall/Leon working with Merlin or the Gullwings unwittingly working for Maleficent in Hollow Bastion? Or did you want to ignore Auron's role in the Underworld? Or maybe you wanted to specifically ignore Auron since his presence as a party member means he gets way more screentime and significance to the plot as opposed to Cloud simply being a hired gun you beat up once?
Yeah, Maleficent has no idea who she's fucking with
*yawn* Saix is boring and I hate him. The only thing I like about him is his voice. Every time he speaks I just imagine Kisame Hoshigaki
Rhyperior Ranger kisame Hoshigaki?i don't see any voice similarities with Shark Freak
El Scorpio They are both voiced by Kirk Thorton
Rhyperior Ranger yea but I don't hear the same voice when Saix n Kisa speaks if they talked at the same time I would probly know the difference even if my eyes were closed
Rhyperior Ranger *raised brow* Saix is the only one in XIII with any real authority other than Xemnas, and the way he exercises it is nothing short of efficient. Besides, he's too much of a jackass *not* to like him. How he plans to get rid of his competition, how he mocks characters like Sora, Kairi and Axel and how he handles the council.
Rogue Pylon
Which is funny cause he started out not being loyal to the organization
