I thought after that brutal death he was fading away and then Sora over killed him by sealing the keyhole in the room he was in, I was for sure we were never going to see this man again. I thought his soul was sealed to that room in castle oblivion for good.

He doesn't remember his past. (Which is basic plot-hole convenience 101). Additionally, Nomura stated in an interview that EVEN he wings the series. Edit: Every KH game's concept starts with just the main dialogue and key moments and then he begins filling plot-holes from there.
I think all of the "former keyblade wielders" associated with the Organization have no memories of ever having used a keyblade before based on their reactions to Xemnas' words in KH3. Based on his behavior after his boss fight towards the end, it would seem that Marluxia also lost most of his memories as Lauriam and it's only as he fades away to presumably be recompleted does he start to remember an apparently important part of his past life. Rather convenient using memory loss as a way to develop his past self without having it conflict with his present-day actions as an antagonist.

i went with a full deck of strike raid and it just perma stuns him used it for axel and larxene as well and brought loads of hi potions and mega potions
Now we got KH3 Data Marluxia, and while nothing comes close to his giant armor mode, and giant crying death angel battleship Being able to change the entire arena and summon giant skulls out of the ground is pretty sick

Eh. Sora's final battles against Marluxia are actually kind of a JOKE if you can create a whole deck of 0 cards and use it against him without using any sleights. He's that easy. I thought the fights in Riku's story were WAY harder, especially the final fight against Ansem.

Its easy only if you know how to use your cards in conjunction with soras three hit combo. Using cards in a conbo that is a DEC in strength are weaker than something is BAA
PS2: Have a finished KH2 or KH2FMJP savefile, Twilight Town Key to Rewards. 1.5(easier): binge watch Days, same location for key to rewards. Also you might need to finish Riku's Reverse/Rebirth too iirc

I know Maleficent gives your attack cards more power while making your reload time slower. And Genie Jafar makes your attack cards unbreakable for a limited time.
Shame I never got this far in the game to witness this battle but i don't miss the battle mechanics not one bit. The reason I never finished. Shouldve let me spam A to beat the game smh
The only "bad" thing about this voice acting is the lip-synching, and it was stated many times that the english voice actors had to voice the lines following the original japanese synch, because the game was initially Japan-only (unlike for example KH1, KH2 and KH3 where you can clearly see the synch goes with english). For the rest, I think it's great.

Shame I never got this far in the game to witness this battle but i don't miss the battle mechanics not one bit. The reason I never finished. Shouldve let me spam A to beat the game smh

English acting so bad
The only "bad" thing about this voice acting is the lip-synching, and it was stated many times that the english voice actors had to voice the lines following the original japanese synch, because the game was initially Japan-only (unlike for example KH1, KH2 and KH3 where you can clearly see the synch goes with english).
For the rest, I think it's great.
