@@armoredlumberjack1999 Yeah, I've definitely noticed that watching Phly has improved my ability in game to detect tanks by listening for engine sounds and stuff, but I don't think I have good enough vision to spot movement like he can lol
@@Khotetsu Im the opposite, i tend to spot stuff easily but its really recent that i started listening for sounds, mainly because i listen to music while i play lol
If you want to play a really OP Russia object you need to play the object 120 at 7.3 you will understand it when you play it 😉.

WHY the Soviets couldn't think to implement this into their future light tanks or even MBTs is beyond me.
Don't forget neutral steer, russian MBTs do not have neutral steer and the 906 does.

Rest assured that there were very smart bunch of people working on this and they probably had their reasons why they did the things they did.
Becuase in reality of the 3 working prototypes built the 2 that were then tested didn't work and so didn't pass trials: The specially built loading mechanism for the 85mm squeezed into the tiny pt-76 turret constantly jammed after the first shot was fired.
4 second reload is hilarious though because they then promptly forgot how to reload within 10 seconds but obviously they have the best at top tier because why not.
As for the blowout panel. . . Autoloader go brrr
Phly you should check out the Ratel 20 some time, it's an absoloute paper bus but it gets seven MILAN's at 6.7 where it fights Panther A's and Tiger I's regularly, Attempt #5
The reverse gear is legit a life saver. Love the 906. Wonderful flanker and sniper if you can get in a good position. I love it in my 8.3 lineup.
Only thing missing is depression.

@@DUKE_of_RAMBLE I meant all the sounds. Often RUclipsrs have their volume down to the ground no matter what game. That music is edited though.
@@aapopesonen2902 I agree then, yea. You can usually hear Phly's game sounds, but not to an immersive degree.
I make sure to always call it out when its audio is perfect, because it matters a lot in my opinion!
(especially since I'm not a WT player; I just love watching Phly play, and his personality!}

Which it's kinda ironic where half the time when Phly will say, _"you hear that?"_ or _"what is that?"_ or _"is that coming from over there",_ and a good 75% of the time I'm over here *literally* shrugging due to not being able to hear anything specific/unique... lol
Although, I don't watch videos with headphones on, and as of the past 2 years is been almost exclusively using my phone on top of that.
I _did_ just get a Galaxy S23 Ultra, and let me tell ya... with Dolby Atmos enabled, it makes a *_HUGE_* difference.
Or at least, in terms of his latest videos with the updated game sounds (taking Phly's word for that). That recent vid where he revisits the old F4U (I think it was)... gggooooood god, the air combat was immersive as fuck... 🥹

The reason why people say Soviet tanks are OP is because they never stop pushing, always in a wolfpack always moving forward as a fist of armor.
That's because the reverse speed is so low, you might as well keep pushing forward.
By 1980s that was actually the Soviet doctrine, mass number high speed assaults, no need to reverse. Across the Warsaw Pact, tank crews were taught to last on a battlefield for 7 minutes, because every 7 minutes entire tank company would be replaced by fresh company engaging at high speed.

Is the editing changing ? If so i like it specially the memes, nice work man (if i may, i preferred without the ambient music, or maybe lower, sometimes i cant figure if its to give a rythme to different action phases or just for the background )
the 906 is still the king at 7.7, and the obj 278 has made a comeback as well, with many of the overperforming 9.3-9.7 has been moved up
You should check out the super Pershing again, just a little check up. It got increased to 6.7 and at that tier you will not bounce most of the time. Only time it’s good is either REALLY LONG RANGE or you get a good first shot.

Hey Phly, I found a cool theory with flares that I was wondering if you could try on the f14a in a video. The way it works is you set the same key bind for flares to decrease throttle so when you flare your afterburner disables and your less of a hot target.
Please Consider.
That’s how I set my flares up. It works and I recommend everyone to do it
@@sinsley1 I've also heard (but have never been in a position to try) that if you carry rockets and fire one off while cutting your engine, you can get the missile to home on your rocket instead, acting as a poor man's flare for planes that you haven't unlocked them on yet or that don't get them at all.

Can you do the merkava 4/4M/LIC/3/3C maybe?
I really like this game, but the maps are just to small(for every tier above 2.3). If spawns were at like "helipad" areas and have 4-5 spawn locations spread out. this game would be soo much more fun. searching for the enemy, rather than trying to get a jump on spawn camping. 95% of the maps you can basically shoot at a spawn sitting on the cap point. even if its a different "large mode". planes, heli's, anti air, scouts, tanks. all would benefit in their classes. more rock, paper, scissors. planning and teamwork. as is, Ill play a few hours, have a few good rounds, few bad, get annoyed. Then I stop playing for a few weeks. I watch more vids of odd and phly than actually play anymore.
I wish this would happen but gaijin is not interested in making a game it's a money farm
It's pretty blatant the higher you go in the tech trees, but even during the closed beta there was some grumbling about the map design. There's one early map that's especially bad that was in the beta (is it called Corella? I can't remember) where you can literally shoot into the opposite hill that the spawns are on on the left side of the map, and the right side is like 5 feet out until you get funneled onto 2 tiny paths that can fire at each other, unless you want to go the long way around. The other map from the closed beta had similar issues as well (the one with the crashed plane on top of a mountain where the A cap is located), but wasn't as bad because there's quite a bit of tree and bush cover and line of sight blocking terrain that makes it difficult to fire directly into spawn from across the map.
@@Khotetsu The god awful map that has been in ground RB since day one is Karelia (you were rather close with your memory :D). And I can corroborate that Karelia is a terrible map for anything above 1.0. Once the players figure out how guns work, then that map is a sh*t-fest.
@@FilliamPL That's the one I was thinking of! The majority of the time it just becomes a nightmare of people spawning in and shooting into the other spawn without moving an inch.
