Anyone know what to do if it does not want to heat? It only works in cooling. I can not setup the car to preheat in the morning. It says inoperative check owners manual. The car has a full tank of diesel.
Have the same on my 2012 w212, but unfortunately it doesn’t work….any suggestions where to find spare parts for the auxiliary heater unit? At a MB dealer the only option is to buy a whole unit, but it’s way too expensive…

I see, where do you live? I mostly buy used parts for great price on online sites for used car parts I thinks that’s the way to go for you also.
