Here's an idea for a possible list in the future: Top Ten Guest Characters. This could be a far more flexible and cross-genre list, as long as a given game includes some manner of guest character. Granted, Mortal Kombat kinda gets off on their guest characters, but other games pull it off as well, such as Geralt in Soul Calibur 6, Spawn in MK 11, Prier in the Disgaea games (since, even though La Pucelle and Disgaea are both NIS titles, Prier is still treated as a guest character in my eyes), 2B & 9S in FF XIV, etc.

I wasn’t mad I was more disappointed. However seeing this updated list and see you go more in detail and knowledge it shows how far you have come.

Even though it's brother(Guilty Gear) didn't make the list over it. Thanks for the shout out of my favorite fighting game.
Here’s a short story for you I got into fighting games after I actually became a black belt in Taiquando. It became a new outlet for me cause in my mind I had new combat knowledge but no vessel to use it in. Then I played DOA Dimensions on my 3DS and then my world was opened to fighting games and that following year fighting games where just a core part of my personality and since I don’t want to make this story to long I’m glad fighting games and the community involved with them has helped me grow as a person much like the martial arts I took up. Oh and before I forget my favorite fighting game is Skullgirls and I’m not mad that it’s at number 5 I totally understand and keep making amazing countdowns I always find enjoyment in your work.
Well done with the list as usual, boss. Excellent picks. I trust your judgement and research. I'm especially surprised you were able to talk to so many pros and content creators, good on you man. Not sure what topic's next but it'll be a good one. ...But no DOA, huh? I had a good chuckle over that one. I'm coming after you, The Green Scorpion.
He did mention in an update vlog a few months back that his next countdowns after this is taking his dumb double Top 5 and splitting it into proper Top 10 lists, Top 10 Pirates and Top 10 Ninjas
Ok Here are my Top 10 Personal Favorite Fighting Games 10. TMNT: Tournament Fighters (SNES) 9. Samurai Showdown 8. Tekken 7 7. Dragonball Fighterz 6. Soul Calibur VI 5. Injustice 2 4. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 3. Street Fighter V Championship Edition 2. Mortal Kombat 9 1. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Soul Edge was actually for the PS1 and was one of the first fighting games for the console that had a fast growing avid fanbase. This was a really nice video to watch and a lot of thought was put into it so kudos.
A much better list then the original Well articulated, well researched and covering my favourite genre of video game in a way that’s both passionate and critical, fair but firm, emphasizing the feel and mechanics along with the cultural impact of the game, as I feel anyone seriously talking about fighters should While not necessarily a list of straight Foward personal favourites (as I prefer most of time) I was more than fine with it here as I was sold on each placement as….. idk I just felt you appreciated what each subsequent entry brings to the table and what they represent in this wonderfully dumb genre we all know and love, both the positive and the negative This list is phenomenal, probably my favourite one of yours, can’t wait for the next one, much love ❤️
Ngl, I really don’t like fighting games. I don’t enjoy button mashing or just spamming the same combo over and over, and also don’t want to spend dozens of hours memorizing and practicing combos and button inputs needed to get good with a single character (and I’d prefer not to be confined to a single character). Nevertheless, you still made this video very enjoyable. You really show your passion for the genre and what makes each game unique. Always a pleasure to see you upload, and congrats on the wedding!
When I saw you dancing to the Marvel vs. Capcom music, I thought "Joshscorcher was one of your inspirations, wasn't he." I love you style of videos, btw.
Green Scorpion, my good sir... You've done it again! Splendid video, informative and entertaining, and just plain agreeable (imo at least). SPOILERS: I knew deep down there was no other #1. SF III is indeed legendary! Also Q is GOAT fight me
(I meant to post this reaction on the same day, but I went bowling with my family, so let me post this reaction.) OH MY GOD, THANK YOU MAN, THIS IS THE GREATEST GIFT I COULD EVER ASK FOR FOR MY BIRTHDAY, I LOVE THIS GENRE, SO MUCH!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MY MAN!!!!!!!!!
Man, you've come a long way. I loved this list. I agree with almost everything on the list, and the few things i don't are really small stuff. Hope you continue to make awesome lists like you always do. Take care man!
so... about the Tekken 8 guest characters thing... according to some videos i've watched, it's confirmed that we'll be getting none other than a father and son combatant from a somewhat-new anime series. the father of that duo is mostly known for his out of this world fame and attack prowess and his son is almost his equal. i am of course talking about Yujiro Hanma and Baki Hanma. that's right. Jin Kazama is going to trade blows with Yujiro Hanma himself! the monster who can tear your face off without breaking a sweat!
I'm not really surprised, but I was wondering if either of the Injustice games would make it onto this list. I understand they may not have the history of some of these others, and may not be as refined in terms of gameplay and roster balance, but I feel like they set the bar as the first fighting games to have really solid story modes, something Nether Realms would take with them into Mortal Kombat X and 11. Also, while I understand why you may not have put them on the list, I've got to shout out the Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi games, and the Xenoverse games which followed a similar format, for giving us maybe not the best fighting game mechanics, but in really capturing the feel of the fights from the series in a way even other anime arena fighters haven't been able to match. You may prefer FighterZ (I can't say it as 'fighterz' but have to say 'fighter-Zee', if they didn't want it pronounced that way they shouldn't have spelled it that way), but I feel like it was a downgrade in terms of mechanical immersion.
I'm confused why you say Capcom "keeps re-releasing" MvC2 "with netcode". As far as I can tell, Capcom hasn't re-released it since Dreamcast and the netcode you are complimenting was written by the Flycast emulation team for its Dreamcast emulator.
As a Dutchman, I hope there will be a Dutch character in a fighting game one day. And it’s not like we don’t have basis for it. Anton Geesink was the first non-Japanese judoka who became world champion and even won gold at the Olympic Games in Japan. And our kickboxers are nothing to sneeze at either, they won 15 out of 19 K1 World Grand Prix’s
Here we are. Expecting big changes from last time. 10. I was expecting a KoF game when SNK was mentioned but I do admit this reboot is really good and Galford is awesome! (Love the avatar reference) 9. Ah this guess was correct! I really need to see more fan-made characters for this game. 8. As soon as the viewer discretion came up this franchise would come up. I guess the time travel plot of XI was too confusing 7. Well I was thrown for a loop there. No Goku in sight. 6. Number six on your games of all time too... coincidence? 5. Skullgirls was on my mind when the Indie scene was brought up 4. So here's the massive list entry. I knew Infinite and 3 wasn't making the list 3. No surprise given the story mode and how much you gushed about it 2. No duh this was going to be high on the list! 1. I haven't heard much on 3. Usually it's the long wait until 5 or how great 6 is currently
First off, this list is amazing and its reason is for what im about to say about one of the entries, so, to anyone reading this, DON'T unless you already watched the video. I do agree with these entries as a casual fighting game fan myself, but, just as this list is a love letter to fighting games, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate is a love letter to the gaming industry as a whole. It's that reason why its one of my favorite games of all time. Its not prefect, by any means, but when passion like this is being shown on display with a cast as large and iconic as Ultimate, does it really need to be? I can't say this enough that i love this game because of what it represents. It didn't need to be a better fighting game than the other competitors, which it tried in some aspects. It just needed to be fun, easy to play, and memorable. In that regard, the game is sheer amazement.
I wish I got more into fighting games. I do consider myself reasonably good at Smash and Pokken and I've dabbled around with plenty of other fighters (UMvC3, both Injustice games, Soul Caliber VI, Skullgirls, and Arcana Heart 3 Love Max), but the ones I've dabbled around with I've just never gotten that great at. Heck, in SC6's case, the character creator is my favorite part about it.
Wait, you played Arcana heart 3? I did so too. Some of my favorites include Smash Ultimate, MK 11 + Aftermath, Soulcalibur 6, Tekken 7, Dragon Ball FighterZ, etc.
9:50 I assume anyone noticed it but it wasnt on the Dreamcast that Soul Edge (Soul Blade) was released but on PlayStation (Based on the Arcade game of the same name). Still, I'm so hyped for your list.
In these fighting games, my strategy is simple: button mash like my life depends on it. Sometimes it works, most times it's just a spectacular display of confusion and chaos!
I still prefer MK11 It’s what got me into playing fighting games online and the controls are better I have really bad stick drift when I play X, game thinks im jumping when im trying to do a Down Back input
a video idea top 10 best snipers in games rules: 1. Do not limit to just sniper rifles, bow, firearms, magic, kunais and ki as long as they are precision and long range based 2. in addition to the main weapon, the skills that the character has should help it in mobility, field control, obtaining information, debuffs, traps, in addition to the use of the environment 3. can have any function defense, attack, support 4. game characters that can use multiple weapons will only count if the skills and lore connect characters must have the mentality of a home-office assassin
As hilarious and on the nose as Big Band's Happy Birthday clip is, the funniest clip to me is still that one match Woolie had against Big Band and Valentine
While I personally don't agree on much of this top 10 list I do sole heartly respect it. And I mean you're not wrong I do love most of these games, however 3 games that are my personal favorites are Tekken 4, Street Fighter 6 & Mortal Kombat 11. Tekken 4 was my first experience of the franchise and features some of my favorite characters and arcade storytelling within the roster like Hwoarang,Raven,Christe,Eddy & my favorite Lee Chaolan. Street Fighter 6 the latest addition to the series has now become a favorite staple in my heart with different modes like World Tour where you customized you avatar and explore city like a Pokemon rpg esque game, The Battle Hub where I would play other players and have fun in the dj booth, old school arcade and even get into the some avatar fights and Fighting Grounds where it have various other modes with a great assortment of characters old & new (I play Luke & Juri as my mains btw). And lastly as someone who is favorite fighting game genre is being Mortal Kombat, MK11 was just perfect for me with a great roster of characters that all looks so good including surprise guest dlc characters ranging from voice actors like Keith David's Spawn to freaking movie Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. And not only that other modes like the Krypt and a cinematic story mode which in itself feels like an actual movie (I know there are very much mixed opinions on that but I personally love it). And while I do agree the whole meter system mechanic sucks ass at it's own it still a fun game to play, for me at least MKX is also amazing and I do play that game from time to time but it was a little bit more difficult compare to 11(i'm not a pro player so I can't handle that level of difficulty at times).
@@davidkerr7350 Oh I know but for me I calling it right now and say it's gonna be the best SF game. And if it's anything like SF5 it will get updated with even more characters & content that will make it even better.
I wouldn't be too upset about Budokai 3 reaching your top ten years ago, both because you were younger with less fighting game exposure, and because on top of that, more games came out year after year to increase competition. From a subjective narrative it makes sense to put a game you like on there with the experiences you had at the time.
Would be interested to see you do a top ten “anime” fighting games list. You know the ones that may not be super fair or balanced. Or heck even competitive. But you play it and see the cool characters do their flashy finishers and it’s like epic! If that makes any sense.
All I'm going to say is I basically agree with everything you said... Except the diss against Arcana Heart in the Skullgirls section. Sure, the cast is all female and it tends to be fanservicey, but its quite the good game and series... And calling it a "cheesecake" when you're discussing Skullgirls just feels cheap and unfair to me
19:55 Speaking personally, basically all of the complaints about Arksys simplifying the gameplay in Strive was a fear of lowering the skill ceiling. In fact, the general belief was that it would be easier to beat newer players.
I'm just gonna put something out real quick, and you can call me a coomer as much as you want, I don't care: Idol Showdown may not have much of a legacy game-wise, but it deserves a mention purely because of all the love put into every part of it. Every single sprite was made from the ground up, the music is a bunch of remixed bops fron Hololive's vast catalogue with some original slappers thrown in for good measure (mostly outside of fighting), the Virtual Frontier is basically a fighting game version of Slay The Spire that _absolutely rocks,_ and... Look, I can't keep away from this. The amount of references in the characters' movesets, the stages, the Virtual Frontier events, _everything,_ really shows just how much the devs love Hololive and fighting games alike. Not to mention it launching with some great rollback netcode, and overall being so good that even those in the FGC who know nothing about Hololive still play it and adore it as just being _a damn good fighting game._ And the best part? The devs listen. They actively work to keep the game fun and balanced, removing infinites, buffing and nerfing things that need to be buffed or nerfed, and even actively putting in voice clips from the VTubers themselves when they give their input on the clips chosen. Heck, they got Kureiji Ollie herself to fully voice herself in the game! It's one thing when someone is heavily inspired by something. But when said inspiration acknowledges them, and actively encourages them... it's a whole other bag of red superchats to the point where it's almost overwhelming.
1. Tekken 8 (I hope) 2. Tekken 7 3. Tekken 5 4. Tekken 3 5. Tekken 6 6. Tekken Tag 2 7. Tekken Tag 1 8. Tekken 2 9. Tekken 4 10 Tekken 1 11. (As Tekken 8 is not yet released, Id go for International Karate + on Commodore 64 or Double Dragon 2 on Nintendo 8-bit, but as DD 2 is more a beat `em up side scroller, IK+ takes the last spot) Well that was easy, no need to watch the video =)
Even tho I don't agree with most of the placments,I still really enjoyed the video and just listening to someone who just loves fighting games like me.
Saying I love everything about Killer Instinct while still being garbage at it is a testament to how kinetic, polished, and downright amazing the game is

I can't say I'm good at any fighting games coming from someone whose only fighting game series he's played is the Smash Bros. series plus playing Mortal Kombat X and the 2 Injustice games a few times at a video game club in high school it was always kinda cool seeing people play them knowing that would never be me and I accepted that fact for awhile now but that's besides the point this was cool to watch keep being awesome arachnid man

Man i love guilty gear, wish it was on switch, smash dissapointed me on the single player content, no boss rush, no extra materials for stage creation, the world of light became so boring that it got tedious just to unlock all characters. Also, sad that skull girls got the censoring bs thing, the fanservice and personality was the main reason the game lived for so long, come on.
Here’s a game I never hear anyone talk about and I just so happen to own a PlayStation one game called Evil Zone, I had came across this little one while shopping a store, that no longer exist, called Hills.

The way you described the Neutral is something Dale Wilson aka Low Tier God could learn a thing or two about as opposed to his constant garbage zoning that's so predictable it's cringey. Anyway, great countdown, Oscar! This must have taken so much work to make perfect in your eyes.
Darkstalkers and blazeblue continuum shift are nostalgic childhood favorites of mine. Tao, her sister and Felicia made me a rush down main fo life. For the moveset i swear.....yeah, the moveset.....
Street Fighter 3 feels fast and more exact. Street Fighter 5 or 6 seem to be slower and the animations try to keep up with your attacks and not so much land where you want them. You get used to it for sure but that clean feel from 2d is a hardcore players dream. I have met a lot of players go from 3d games to Marvel vs Capcom 2, Capcom vs SNK, KOF, old Samurai showdown and love them. However the general audience only plays 3d games so they really can't keep playing the older games. Pair that with SONY only promoting high end 3d games, and you have a sad time trying to make a new friend in older games. Great list!
I miss Break The Targets, too. Also I liked Board the Platforms from Smash 64. Never really came back despite how simple it was and how it provided movement training. Break the Targets providing special move training... Just so much cool stuff in many entries in Super Smash Bros. that either only came back very few times, were changed for the worse, or never came back at all.
A brilliant remake of a countdown I have ever seen, you really stepped up your game, Green Scorpion. Seeing some fighting games really makes me want to try them out for the first time. It's wonderful to see Street Fighter 3 taking the top spot of the countdown, the music is good, the sprite work is well done, and the roster is the best one ever like with the gentleman boxer Dudley, the literal man of mystery Q, the twins Yang & Yun, and my favorite character in the entire franchise the ninja girl Ibuki.
I don’t give myself too much credit, but I love fighting game. I fell out of it due to my own toxicity and left it to reflect on my own and never got any closure. My favorites were definitely KI, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Street Fighter 2: Turbo Edition.
The picks in the list all make sense. Can I ask, though? What made you pick X over 2011? At least from a glance, it seemed 2011 had everything X had to offer and more. Then again, it's been a while since I've played those games.
@@davidkerr7350 Hm, I suppose not. I would say, however, that it has a comparatively complete roster, more cohesive and engaging single player, and bigger legacy standing by way of being a return to form.
It's weird how Brawlhalla doesn't get much attention when it has 100 million players with 20million monthly players (crossplay). Insanely good tournament entries online and LAN, massive prize pools, consistent developer support, extremely active community. It's not nearly as recognized as Smash (it does not have the massive legacy or storied history of it), but it deserves some praise imo. It's different from Smash in basically every way but the genre. People are very quick to discount it without giving it a serious try and how good high level competitive play is. Also one of the most balanced fighting games ever.

Perfect video cept the gaffe where you had a clip that gootecks in it next to Max, an association I’m sure he vehemently wants nothing to do with

Oh my god, it's the King of Skill cameo! (Playing as K. Rool, as per tradition)
Insert Monkey sounds of hype
Green Scorpion is always welcome at my fighting game locals
Well done with the list as usual, boss. Excellent picks. I trust your judgement and research. I'm especially surprised you were able to talk to so many pros and content creators, good on you man. Not sure what topic's next but it'll be a good one.
...But no DOA, huh? I had a good chuckle over that one.
I'm coming after you, The Green Scorpion.
How?
@@davidkerr7350 I'm kidding around man. Relax. I know Oscar and I joke about DOA all the time
@@Mechassault_Man Oh that’s good.
He did mention in an update vlog a few months back that his next countdowns after this is taking his dumb double Top 5 and splitting it into proper Top 10 lists, Top 10 Pirates and Top 10 Ninjas
@@erichfiedler1481 Oh I want to watch both of them.
Ok Here are my Top 10 Personal Favorite Fighting Games
10. TMNT: Tournament Fighters (SNES)
9. Samurai Showdown
8. Tekken 7
7. Dragonball Fighterz
6. Soul Calibur VI
5. Injustice 2
4. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
3. Street Fighter V Championship Edition
2. Mortal Kombat 9
1. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
I'm hoping Pokken Tournament is on here, nobody talks about it enough.
Not in top ten but was mentioned.
@@davidkerr7350 A shame, considering it was the first official Pokémon fighting game, you'd think people would love it.
@@Nicky2414 I like game but I haven’t played it in a while.
I gotta appreciate the button mashing sound effects during the #6 segment. That cracked me up! XD
Soul Edge was actually for the PS1 and was one of the first fighting games for the console that had a fast growing avid fanbase.
This was a really nice video to watch and a lot of thought was put into it so kudos.
A much better list then the original
Well articulated, well researched and covering my favourite genre of video game in a way that’s both passionate and critical, fair but firm, emphasizing the feel and mechanics along with the cultural impact of the game, as I feel anyone seriously talking about fighters should
While not necessarily a list of straight Foward personal favourites (as I prefer most of time) I was more than fine with it here as I was sold on each placement as….. idk I just felt you appreciated what each subsequent entry brings to the table and what they represent in this wonderfully dumb genre we all know and love, both the positive and the negative
This list is phenomenal, probably my favourite one of yours, can’t wait for the next one, much love ❤️
Great Video, I watched it complete and it was very informative and entertaining

Something like Killer Instinct shouldn't be forgotten nor ignored
I'm still so sad we haven't gotten a new Killer Instinct game in 10 years... Great video btw!
When I saw you dancing to the Marvel vs. Capcom music, I thought "Joshscorcher was one of your inspirations, wasn't he." I love you style of videos, btw.
As others've said, you've really come a long way man - looking forward to seeing more in the future!
Green Scorpion, my good sir... You've done it again! Splendid video, informative and entertaining, and just plain agreeable (imo at least).
SPOILERS:
I knew deep down there was no other #1. SF III is indeed legendary!
Also Q is GOAT fight me
Wait... something's missing.
... *GASP!* There was no end of video tease!
(I meant to post this reaction on the same day, but I went bowling with my family, so let me post this reaction.)
OH MY GOD, THANK YOU MAN, THIS IS THE GREATEST GIFT I COULD EVER ASK FOR FOR MY BIRTHDAY, I LOVE THIS GENRE, SO MUCH!!!

(Love the avatar reference)
9. Ah this guess was correct! I really need to see more fan-made characters for this game.
8. As soon as the viewer discretion came up this franchise would come up. I guess the time travel plot of XI was too confusing
7. Well I was thrown for a loop there. No Goku in sight.
6. Number six on your games of all time too... coincidence?
5. Skullgirls was on my mind when the Indie scene was brought up
4. So here's the massive list entry. I knew Infinite and 3 wasn't making the list
3. No surprise given the story mode and how much you gushed about it
Sometimes it works, most times it's just a spectacular display of confusion and chaos!
if i recall correctly, in Killer Instinct, each ultra combo music is actually based on the characters theme music
I still prefer MK11
It’s what got me into playing fighting games online and the controls are better
I have really bad stick drift when I play X, game thinks im jumping when im trying to do a Down Back input

top 10 best snipers in games
rules:
1. Do not limit to just sniper rifles, bow, firearms, magic, kunais and ki as long as they are precision and long range based
2. in addition to the main weapon, the skills that the character has should help it in mobility, field control, obtaining information, debuffs, traps, in addition to the use of the environment
3. can have any function defense, attack, support
4. game characters that can use multiple weapons will only count if the skills and lore connect
characters must have the mentality of a home-office assassin
Yo cool it with the Arcana Hearts slander Oscar, it's more than just cheesecake
Overall good, if not very surprising list
He explained SF6 needs more time though which is understandable since it’s a recent release.
40:01 Maximilian doods face when that was revealed will always be priceless 🤣
So nice to see soul calibur 6 being there in the top 10
I LOVE THIS GAME TO DEATH
The character creator has been something i loved from this game
I Love it too. I still Have My Sophetia statue in the Box. Fresh and Unopened
Would be interested to see you do a top ten “anime” fighting games list.
You know the ones that may not be super fair or balanced. Or heck even competitive. But you play it and see the cool characters do their flashy finishers and it’s like epic!
If that makes any sense.
everything past entry N4 gave me nothing but chills.
All I'm going to say is I basically agree with everything you said... Except the diss against Arcana Heart in the Skullgirls section. Sure, the cast is all female and it tends to be fanservicey, but its quite the good game and series... And calling it a "cheesecake" when you're discussing Skullgirls just feels cheap and unfair to me
I believe this quote is rather fitting...
"Round 2, FIGHT!"
19:55 Speaking personally, basically all of the complaints about Arksys simplifying the gameplay in Strive was a fear of lowering the skill ceiling. In fact, the general belief was that it would be easier to beat newer players.
18:00 my chiropractor when i have a slight back ache
Don’t think I didn’t notice that you purposely put in the TOTSUGEKI! whenever it was performed on the GG part.
1. Tekken 8 (I hope)

Well that was easy, no need to watch the video =)
Even tho I don't agree with most of the placments,I still really enjoyed the video and just listening to someone who just loves fighting games like me.
Saying I love everything about Killer Instinct while still being garbage at it is a testament to how kinetic, polished, and downright amazing the game is

THe fact that Primal Rage isn't mentioned here is a rotten shame due to how well constructed it is!
I can't say I'm good at any fighting games coming from someone whose only fighting game series he's played is the Smash Bros. series plus playing Mortal Kombat X and the 2 Injustice games a few times at a video game club in high school it was always kinda cool seeing people play them knowing that would never be me and I accepted that fact for awhile now but that's besides the point this was cool to watch keep being awesome arachnid man
this list just feels like your pandering......and from what i recall everyone hates the matchmaking system in strive and as soon as i saw this list i knew third strike was going to be number 1 as that feels like the most maximillion dood thing to do
Man i love guilty gear, wish it was on switch, smash dissapointed me on the single player content, no boss rush, no extra materials for stage creation, the world of light became so boring that it got tedious just to unlock all characters.

Street Fighter VI
King of Fighters XIV
Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Blazblue: Central Fiction

Dragon Ball FighterZ

I want a remake of Soul Calibur 2, but on the Switch just so I can play as Link
11:38 got to love talsien jaffe’s performance as azwel(hope to see him again) well guess we know what would happen if Percy de rolo was raised by the briarwoods in Vox Machina(watch that show btw it’s awesome)
Jaffe’s performance as Eizen (Tales of Berseria) is one of the greatest performances I’ve experienced!
0:58 we all know oscar usually has a disdain for puns and yet................ XD
In terms of Street Fighter games, Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers is my go to Street Fighter. It's so much fun.
The GREATEST video game genre.
You know a video is good when the only complaint is with the company that made one of the games.
Daigo was on Ultra Instinct before that even was a thing!
I don’t give myself too much credit, but I love fighting game. I fell out of it due to my own toxicity and left it to reflect on my own and never got any closure. My favorites were definitely KI, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Street Fighter 2: Turbo Edition.
Good list and agree in many spots
The picks in the list all make sense.
Can I ask, though? What made you pick X over 2011? At least from a glance, it seemed 2011 had everything X had to offer and more. Then again, it's been a while since I've played those games.
Does MK9 have character variants, more then 1 newcomer, focus on a new generation and more then 2 guest characters?
@@davidkerr7350 Hm, I suppose not.
I would say, however, that it has a comparatively complete roster, more cohesive and engaging single player, and bigger legacy standing by way of being a return to form.
AND THE BATTLE CONTINUES! FIGHT!
You forgot to also mention the custom characters you can have in Soul Calibur 6.
Now I can finally have Sans Undertale fight Crash Bandicoot.
