Quick update - if you want a Plug n Play adapter to get the switches to light up correctly @404parts sells a harness. That install is below: ruclips.net/video/753msjm4bUk/видео.html
Yet another amazingly informative video! Thank you for bringing 8ball's post to life. I have no problem tearing an engine down to the block and rebuilding it, but electrical scares the heck out of me. You have brought me a bit closer to having the courage to attempt this. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
DS 1480 - there is a "plug and play" solution for the wiring for those missing pins. I am going to wrap up that video this weekend - and post it next week. Now I say plug and play - I had to extend the harness that I bought by 3 feet! Sucks cutting up a new harness - but the truck is almost done and back together.
We have a 2020 2500 and a 2024 2500. Both of them still have the auxiliary wire in the fin for a rotator on the roof. That plugs into that auxiliary number five.
So I ran the wire through this access point - I had previously used it in my Subwoofer install video. I gave more details here: ruclips.net/video/OP7eM371ZCc/видео.html
Thanks for the awesome video. I have the same issue on my 2024 TrailBoss that is preventing the switch led lights from illuminating when pressed. Your video helped me see there is a fix with the 3 wires. But question... wouldn't it be easier to just put a t-tap on the 3 wires that need a 12v source and run that to a fuse instead of putting pins in the truck side of the connector?

Good video, glad someone made one! Ive gotten a lot of questions on how to do this. Thanks for the shout out!
No problem! Without what you had shared with me on the FB groups - I wouldn't been able to do this!
Thanks again!

Thanks for confirming!
Great video!
Can you make another informative video about going through the firewall please?

I bought an adapter harness from 404 Parts - this way I didn't have to cut anything else up on the truck.
