Guy Ritchie, writer/director of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, delivers another awe-inspiring directorial masterpiece, SNATCH - an edgy and hilarious film about a diamond heist gone wrong, a colorful Irish gypsy-turned-prize fighter...and a very temperamental dog.In the heart of gangland, two novice unlicensed boxing promoters, Turkish (Jason Statham) and Tommy (Stephen Graham), get roped intoorganizing a rigged bare-knuckle fight with local kingpin/villain and fellow boxing promoter Brick Top (Alan Ford). But all goes wrong whenwildcard Irish gypsy boxer One Punch Mickey O'Neil (Brad Pitt) starts playing by his own rules, and the duo find themselves heading for awhole lot of trouble.Meanwhile, Franky Four Fingers (Benicio Del Toro) and his stolen 86-carat diamond have gone missing in London. Head honcho Avi(Dennis Farina) hires local legend Bullet Tooth Tony (Vinnie Jones) to find them, launching everyone into a spiral of double-crossing vendettas and events, most of them illegal.
This whole scene is a masterclass of film making - build up of tension, the rock score, sound design of the slo mo punches, editing, menacing Alan Ford, Brad Pitt, just fantastic. Brilliant direction. The money shot at the end when Mickey goes down should be shown as its the cherry
YOU STOPPED BEFORE THE BEST PART!!!!!

i can do better
They forgot the happy ending.

I wouldn't go that far 😅
Spoiler Alert, until the end. This is one of Guy Ritchie’s best written/directed movies. Also one of Pitt’s best acting imo.
Hey, bro, what is this music?
@@ShamanKish In the clip? It's "Fuckin' In the Bushes", by Oasis.
Also, while im at it, might as well reply to the OP: There are no spoilers in your post. Or are you trying to say the end of the movie is bad?
@@mywhychromosome Yes, during box match. Really good.
@@mywhychromosome if you mean my saying “spoiler alert except for the ending”, I mean if you haven’t seen the movie, it spoils part of an integral part at the end of the movie. But you did not show the end. So as someone whose seen this movie over 20 plus years over Hundred times, I was diggin on watchin the ending lol!! So I was kinda mad you didn’t play the end hehe. But it’s good for those who haven’t seen it. So it’s a complicated double reverse compliment to the creator.
Love how little Tommy is and he jumps in no question, defends pit when they are walking to the ring and than jump in the ring to fight a guy like three times his hight lol
Oy! Anyone who loves movies, acting, directing and storytelling has to watch this movie more than once - this fight scene is right up there with Raging Bull, Rocky l and ll - and this is only a ten minute clip from nearly two hours of cinematic perfection. The photography, the acting, the editing and music creates a heady and graphic experience that lingers. Guy Ritchie created his iconic British Gangster Trilogy of Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and RocknRolla - I can watch them back to back, over and over again and always see something new and subtle and sublime...............RIGHT!
And slipped right back into the same shoes a decade later with Gentlemen. Such entertaining movies, he could make many more and I wouldn't get bored, ever.
One of Brad Pitts best roles
Jupppppppp
4 shure
'For f*ck sake, Do Not Knock him out'. 1st bell@01:57, Mickey knocks him down. The way Turkish and Tommy shut their eyes had me laughing('damn Pikey gon get us all killed')😂.
One of the greatest films ever made.
Better than Finding Nemo?
Sure!!
And the soundtrack is very strong too.
Agree 👍
There is something special about this movie fight. Its artistic and unrealistic but still it feels so real. The way they look and move, the faces, everything is just so unique.
Why didn't he get an Oscar for this? He deserved it a 100 %
No one could understand what he was saying.
No one could understand the piker. But if you win the Oscar you also get a dag

He called out Harvey weinstein a looong time ago and got himself banned from ever winning one.

Brad Pitt's best role ever. Incredible.
Brad Pitt acted the SHIT outta this role! Good on him 👍👍👍

Best movie ever!! I've must have watched it 20 times now. And will probably watch it another 20 times!!
Best thing about this is most people don’t know that rift is an oasis song. Even better when he takes a few punches and it comes back in. British film Masterpiece by guy
The best part is that the song is called “Fuckin in the Bushes.”
And what is Mickey doing when they first meet him?
Never gets old. Masterpiece movie
Snatch one of my top ten favourite films, it’ll always be a classic film and always enjoyable to watch from start to finish no matter how many times you watch the film
Not even an Oasis fan but that song is perfect for this scene.
Love this scene. When he steps out and the rhythm starts, chills comes out immediately. Then, when the riff start as he steps into the ring, the rise of adrenalin in your blood is feelable. And then when he put down the shirt and almost knock down that beast with one punch, that is unbelievable. Only shame is that this video is not the full scene, but this fight is the best ring/boxing scenes I ever seen, and I also believe that it can't be surpassed, well, I definitely didn't see anything better yet. The cuts are sublimely rough but still gentle and with lots of emphasis on aesthetics. Music blaring and is very energetic and subtly aggressive. The atmosphere is hypnotizing, and you can see people around the ring jumping up and down in pure extasy with every powerful punch being placed. This is a feast on eyes and on emotions. It builds you up and gives you vision of enormous power. Many times it served as a pre-workout and warm up at the same time. I feel like punching a punching bag, and do a lots of push ups. Lots of respect to Guy Ritchie and Brad Pitt, and everyone involved. You smashed it completely. Thank you so much.
I always chuckle at that extra doing the corny fistacuffs at 4:34. 😄
Hands down one of the best movie’s ever made
Could watch it every day, class
One of the best movie's ever made, and in my personal opinion Brad has the ultimate body Physique in this movie, thats how I wan't to look like.
I love how he can just knock somebody out no matter the size or weight, like "please just dont do it"
As if size matters - in fights...
@@CONEHEADDK That's why there's no weight classes in MMA.

The first rule of Snatch Club is you DO NO TALK ABOUT Snatch Club!
i love how he punched him at the beginning like he did with the last one, just to show that he could have floored the guy if he wanted to.
Brad Pitt was fantastic in this movie!
Is anyone else who watched this movie at least 20 times?
Yes
Don't recall the ref saying "Do your worst." I like it.
Oh my god that's Stephen Graham... he's like the portrait in the attic for both Statham and Pitt.
Huh? You know who's Brad Pitt, right?

Did he say "it'll be a Trojan of a fight, nice one, nice one. And then you'll get yours."
That's what it sounded like to me, and I hope I'm not wrong because that's great foreshadowing and writing.
You want to throw yourself a fight?
I just realized he literally told him he's gonna knock the fucker out then kill bricktop lmao the and then you'll get yours
One of my top 3 favorite movies of my life.
By far the best movie i've ever seen.
As the saying goes the bigger they are the harder they fall brilliant film and brilliant acting from Brad Pitt
Your not wrong
Bigger they are the harder they hit you.
@@boratsagdiyev3936 something people forget when they give it the 'harder they fall chat' 😂👏
There's a reason there are weight classes ;) This size difference irl in this kind of environment can easily cost the smaller guy his life or a serious injury/handicap
The smaller they are the further they fly
This has become one of my favorite movies
That's not how the fight ended!
One of my all time fave movies.😅
Maybe it doesn't show the whole fight, but it sure as hell shows the most important part of it. That first "sort of" jab is a fair warning - i.e: "I'm gonna f** you up, however and whenever I want!". Should have been enough for the other guy to at least reconsider his position, without the need to putting him in a coma.
The fact that my man had burner lit up the corner of the ring has me fuckin howling
Best film I ever saw,,,, masterpiece
This is Brad Pitts best acting by far !
One of the greatest Brad Pitt characters ever......lol
Absolute masterpiece, and one of the funniest films ever
Back when Jason Statham took on awesome roles, nowadays I can't be bothered watching any of his movies.
The filmography is absolutely awesome
and the song is F@$kin in the bushes, by Oasis. Brilliant
The best film of Jason Statham
I love tommy was so brave and protective in situations like this
Why would you end the video there?
I have watched this movie so many times.
There is one moment when "Mickey" makes a face at the guy, and I think it means this guy isn't posing a challenge. Mackey knows he can beat this guy, and he also knows he is trying to work the match, and thisnguusnisntngood enough to even even make it interesting
yeah right, final fight scene, 4K - 1080p, cut right before the actual final, like the author balls. that's what you get when remove the dislike counter
when you address Tyler Durden, you say SIR, how do people not get this?!?!
Love that Brad Pitt is walking out to fucking in the bushes by Oasis excellent choice.
Great stuff to walk out on
I thought you were going to show the whole ending .
blood, sweat, fighting- god I love this amazing gritty sport
I think I had a seizure halfway through this scene. The early 2000s were crazy with the editing choices.
The movie u will allways want to watch again and again
Like 11 times I had to swipe the suggested video tab away. Thank god I pay for no ads 🤦♀️
I always thought that Brick Top was being stupid with his tactics demanding Mickey go down. Mickey was clearly an underdog in all fights, unknown in this "league" and having smaller physique. As soon as he learned that he knocked out Gorgeous George with one punch, he should bet on him. What would be the bets for him to win? 5:1? 10:1? And betting on Mickey's opponents was considered a "safe" bet, so one can't earn much money from it. Sure, the expected income is little higher if you bet on the exact round Mickey goes down, but one could also bet that Mickey knocks out in the first round.
I think it was a matter of word going out that he knocked Gorgeous George out. And then after the fight he replaced Gorgeous George in, most people in the scene would realize it's a safe bet on Mickey.
Fucking in the bushes just makes the fight even better.
This is all I’ve seen of this movie but using this oasis song for a fight scene is just amazing
@@BloomsIZG Watch the full movie. You are missing out on a Guy Ritchie gem.

Round 1: What in the hell are you doing? don't hurt him he needs to knock you out in the 4th
Round 2: What in the hell are you doing? You need to hurt him to make it look not rigged!
That slow double glance Mickey does to the ref at 2:15 after the ref said, "What the fuck's going on here. You going to finish him or what?"
The first glance implied, "Don't tell me how to fight."
Second glance said, "Hell, you don't even know this fight is rigged."

The way Brad Pitt's face changes at 0:35 was fucking brilliant!

Yeah ... there's like a genre of films about Bumbling British Bad Guys ... This one and _Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels_ is another one. Another is the original _The Italian Job_ with Michael Caine.
All of these are just hilarious.
.
Lock stock 2 smoking barrels . snatch . and both the young guns are on my list. To buy. I love movies.
Admittedly, I love British crime films, so both "Lock Stock" and "Snatch" are great, to me...but honestly, if you have one of em, you almost don't need the other. "Snatch" was essentially a high budget remake of "Lock, Stock", with a few American stars mixed in with the extra dollars. That said, I actually PREFER it to the first film, and didn't give it all the shit it got from critics upon release because of this. I saw it as Ritchie essentially saying, "Okay, I've got the budget and the attention now...let me do this one how I really wanted to do it the whole time, before I move on properly"
You cut it short!
What Tyler Durden has done while Edward Norton searched him
The idea that a 145lb stringbean pretty boy would last 5 fucking seconds agaisnst the 26-4 professional heavyweight Scott Welsh, who ran a 250 mile marathon across the Sahara and climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, is as ridiculous as watching a 110lb Angelina Jolie or whoever beat up 5 250lb henchmen in highheels in some dumb action movie.
Dam, 22 years ago....how? Crazy
WTF!?!?
There was more in this fight!
Why did you stop it 10 seconds before the end??
You can't have an epic boxing fight unless the corner people enter the ring and join it.
THE SONG IS= OASIS~ 'Fucking in the Bushes'
Made me dig out my DVD
