Boris is still alive and annoyingly he now has to finally square up, grips the desert Eagle with both arms and ends boris .... most likely with a headshot even though we don't see it ..... I wonder if thats choreographed or improvised either way its just brilliant acting. Vinnie Jones nailed this role! 👌

Normally I’d agree, but it’s in the hands of a character who’s supposed to be extremely strong, and is played by a literal athlete who’s 6’1” and heavily built. Him tanking the recoil makes some sense. Avi doing so in a later scene doesn’t.
Personally i think the joke was that Boris was "dodging" the bullets, as tony looked away he was talking again lol, only a well aimed shot to the head got him

@fearnot1012 actually if you notice the teardrop saftey when it zooms in on the writing of the desert eagle, it becomes apparent that this gun is a Desert Eagle Mark I, which was not available in .50 calibre. A definative movie error. The gun may either be chambered for .357 or .44 which would make consequtive shots easier. However i do agree with you that its inaccurate clapping off multiple .50AE rounds one handed with the "gangster grip"

If you tried to one-arm a .50 Desert Eagle, I promise that you won't hit anything, and blow out your eardrums in the process of firing it.

I'm not an expert in firearms, but I believe the scene is incorrect. When the Desert Eagle .50 is emptied, the slide doesn't stay open. When Tony fires the 8 shots, it makes me think he's using a .44 Magnum caliber It should stay open, waiting to be reloaded. I'm sorry if I don't use the correct terms when talking about guns. 🤭
