What a dumb umpire. Why would Nadal stop a point, choosing not to hit a ball he could’ve easily hit back if he wasn’t trying to challenge? The umpire was wrong and he just didn’t want to backtrack.
The umpire needs to know the sign language of tennis even there is a RULE. BUT if you're not a tennis professional you will not not understand their actions.
A rule is a rule though. You want to challenge, you have to say it. Sign language is not a rule. If the umpire accepts that non verbal chllange, it goes against the other player and he could refuse to continue, rightfully so.
Nadal points the line late. The point was already continued. It's just the opposite of what happened to Djokovic. In this case, the victim was Djokovic. But if Djokovic had responded with a straight forehand and scored the point, the opponent would have complained to the referee that he (as Nadal did, for example) had already stopped the game by receiving Djokovic's serve. If you see her outside you raise your hand you stop

That's wasn't a particularly an easy ball to hit back though.

@@AhmedKathiri so mute players couldn't challenge in tennis? Weird rule

He should have stopped if he wanted to challenge. You don’t play and then challenge.
If Djokovic did this, he would be the savage boy. Oh Rafa, go to retirement finally.
you’re really here crying about your cult leader when he’s not even relevant nor playing this tournament??? 😂😂😂 get a life please

That's why Djokovic is the history maker. He understands the game and follow the rules. It takes a lot to be the best
Yes breaking the racket is following the rules
@@The_LastPrime Dumbo.. that's your argument 🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣
He made a pretty similar argument vs Nardi in Indian Wells your Djokovic
