    What a dumb umpire. Why would Nadal stop a point, choosing not to hit a ball he could’ve easily hit back if he wasn’t trying to challenge? The umpire was wrong and he just didn’t want to backtrack.

      El jugador tiene que levantar la mano o decir challenge, no basta con interpretar.

      That's wasn't a particularly an easy ball to hit back though.

    Se equivocó rafa. Debería haber levantado la mano luego de dar el revés

    Este arbitro Irlandes es un soberbio, parece que nunca se va a equivocar, y ojala que la jueza francesa que arbitro Sinner Tsitipas(perdon si no lo escribi bien), haya sido sancionada, ya que fue un error tan evidente........

    Nadal no desafió, solo se detuvo. No es lo mismo y él lo sabe.

    The umpire needs to know the sign language of tennis even there is a RULE. BUT if you're not a tennis professional you will not not understand their actions.

    • @AhmedKathiri
      @AhmedKathiri Месяц назад

      A rule is a rule though. You want to challenge, you have to say it. Sign language is not a rule. If the umpire accepts that non verbal chllange, it goes against the other player and he could refuse to continue, rightfully so.

      @@AhmedKathiri so mute players couldn't challenge in tennis? Weird rule

    Nadal points the line late. The point was already continued. It's just the opposite of what happened to Djokovic. In this case, the victim was Djokovic. But if Djokovic had responded with a straight forehand and scored the point, the opponent would have complained to the referee that he (as Nadal did, for example) had already stopped the game by receiving Djokovic's serve. If you see her outside you raise your hand you stop

    He should have stopped if he wanted to challenge. You don’t play and then challenge.

    Por su enorme frustracion de ser el segundon del tenis por saber que el GOAT NOVAK DJOKOVIC ya hasta se le olvida cómo pedir un simple desafio. Que ya se retire el pelón.
