    Even though Alcaraz lost to Dimitrov at this years Miami open. I don’t think its to important, i mean he’s 20, he’s still developing his tennis and he has two majors already. Sinner went through a tough couple of seasons then started improving again. I do feel to much expectation is put on Alcaraz and thats a lot to live up to. Let him grow, leave him to get on with what’s important. And criticising him because he was out played by a still very fit and more experienced player…

    • @theDunamis
      @theDunamis 10 месяцев назад

      @@lotusalstom5746 You are making so many illogical assumptions, it's astounding:
      1) You made an assumption that I know "so much about physics". A claim that I never made.
      2) You made an assumption that I am "a pedant". Another claim that I never made. You see, just as one may be optimistic but not necessarily an optimist; I can be pedantic without necessarily being pedantic. But that aside, even if you logical reasoning is not your forte (as the current evidence seems to indicate), the "if" in my sentence should have saved you from going astray if you were at least averagely capable of reading and comprehension. But alas, astray you have gone.
      3) You have assumed that I believe Carlos Alcaraz defied a law of physics. Another claim that I never made. Pointing out that physics is a part of science in no way provides a premise for your illogical assumption.
      So, before you go leaping illogically into threads, you should consider taking a logical reasoning class to learn how to draw logical assumptions. 🙂

    • @lotusalstom5746
      @lotusalstom5746 10 месяцев назад

      @@theDunamis 1) I can concede point one, although, it was not necessary for you to correct NicolasNMI, in such a belittling manner. On the subject of your "physics is a part of science" correction, I indeed correct you, since Physics (and I capitalised it) is a BRANCH of science! So yes, I was incorrect to make the claim you are knowledgeable in this aspect, when I know now as I do, you most clearly are not.
      2) I can't concede this point You clearly stated your intention to be pedantic, by stating "Physics (I capitalised it again) is a part of science (which you now know, it is a branch) which, I am afraid, negates the use of your qualifier "If". Had you have not used the last part of your sentence, then you would have been correct
      3) This is in fact correct; and I ought to have inserted ("If" you believe you are so smart") then point out which law was defied)
      But we know the answer to this; a) you are clearly not knowledgeable enough to answer the question (See item 1) even if you think you are

    • @theDunamis
      @theDunamis 10 месяцев назад

      @@lotusalstom5746 I see you have chosen to double down on your silliness and further showcase your logically reasoning handicap. If you want to somehow sell your nonsense that something is a "branch" of something but not a part of that thing, please proceed in that obtuseness. The resilient and foolishness-tolerant internet world is your oyster. 🙂
