No office extra sleeping for large group or game room pool pinball or something Such a nice place with a beautiful view
great ideas!
8:56 sounds like an old-time tea kittle whistling
Sign me up!! What gorgeous views!! You ought to decorate that pink bathroom in a funky 50s neo classic modern vibe...like pink black white aqua Happy Days meets the Jetsons kind of vibes
haha this is amazing
I keep seeing this as YOUR Headquarters…. You guys deserve a place to escape to or return to… Make it yours….
Definitely! Just also want to provide more opportunities for people to adventure with their fam out here
Awesome! Make the storage room and the office into bedrooms! We would totally bring our family to stay in this rental
yeah??? Ok!!
Just an opinion but I’d recommend keeping the house and renting out the rv and also you’ll be getting more and more equipment so might as well have it parked next to the house and away from camping grounds
Oh, I hope you don't touch those cabinets with paint...but maybe you'll paint and change my mind?! Haha
But that green wilderness room...I was thinking...hear me out... The Jungle Room - Elvis style! TCB, baby⚡
ooooh you're adventurous! haha love it. Definitely throwing it on the idea board
@@TheJurgys 😂😂😂
I think the storage room should also include games and movies for those bad weather days
Love this idea!!
We are just starting our own RV Park in Idaho and are so excited. Now that the snow is gone we can get to work. Can't wait to get our project off the ground. Love watching your journey!!
Where is yours?!
Love this. Murphy bed or fold out couch in the office. In case some people stay long and want an office space, but people can still sleep there...? Or put hard floors in there and make it like a craft room. Thinking of people (such as my mother in law) who like to bring crafts for the kids while on vacation.
Keep the pink bathroom, embrace it. Heart soaps and all that jazz. Or paint it light, light yellow. It's such a happy color.
Can't wait to see what you do.
love all of this!
Now you’re speaking my language. Really cool! Can’t wait to see what you do with this place!
Sweeet! We’re excited to have some fun with it!
Yes, I definitely see family reunions. Keep us posted on how many you can sleep WITHOUT an office. We have 4 adult children and 14 Grands. All but one family in the Boise area…great “staycation” with gas prices climbing.
We wouldn’t need to haul our trailers, incur the gas expenses, and could all be in the same cabin if the size is large enough. We did something similar in Nauvoo.
now we're thinking it could be cool to do a bunk bed room with multiple bunks!
5 bedrooms, 1 for each adult couple but also need bunks and sleeping for 15 more😄
Or add nearby outdoor TeePees for younger kids.
Honestly reading all the ideas people have for this house, I wouldn't even use it as a nightly rental, I'd instead use the various rooms as the club house for the rest of the property. One room can be your campground office (I'm thinking the one with the glass french doors), one bedroom can become an art room, another can become a workout room, some shelves in the living room can become a take one/leave one library for guests at the park. There's plenty of opportunity for other buildings on the property to have as rentals, I would use this building as the clubhouse (at least until the hanger building can be renovated into the future clubhouse building) plus the hanger building I suspect will be pretty important as a place to store any equipment for the property for maintenance too
Ok you really have us thinking here…
@@TheJurgys No problem, I have a bit of a background of Interior Design (and by that I mean I did it in college briefly, didn't pursue it as a career for a variety of reasons but a lot of the things I was taught back then stuck with me). Design School for me was the 2010/2011 school year. But yea, I would put either wood or even tile flooring throughout, you can warm up designated zones with area rugs but tile throughout is easy to maintain and that's important, or even potentially a stained concrete flooring, basically you want something solid and easy to clean.
Whichever room has the best natural light, that's the room I would use as the art room, if you need to put in bigger windows on a wall to give a better view that's an option (basically the ideal art room).
The current storage room I would keep it as that and the clubhouse building would only be open when you guys are there to maintain it (or someone you hire to maintain it and check people in), so people would come to you (or a designated person you hire) to gain access to the various spaces, you could even set it up in the office space shelving on one wall with a few basic supplies for the clubhouse that people can buy, like for the art room, you could have a few sizes of canvases, small sizes of paints, a few brushes (in small sets of a couple different sizes). A paint palette & the easel would already be in the art room. Or do it where the guests only have to buy the canvas they want to use, the paint, paint palettes, easels and brushes all are just stored in the room ready to go, they just have to buy their canvas from you to go paint, that's also an option.
For a fitness room, I'd have some basic fitness equipment in the space, rubber floor for safety and noise reduction, maybe set it up so people have the option to buy fitness drinks or whatever. Can you tell I know nothing about fitness, lol.
Overall both rooms will need access to a water source so it's good there's a bathroom nearby. Art room for washing brushes (which for ease for the guests they could just put the dirty brushes in a designated container in the art room and someone else will come and wash them later) for the fitness room the bathroom is required as people will definitely want a shower after a workout.
You could even build a greenhouse outside and set up a community garden (which frankly people would love, especially if they are in their RV or Camper-van making dinner and then realized they were all out of veggies, a quick walk or bike ride over to the community garden and they can grab some fresh in season veggies, or you guys stock them in the fridge that's there and make that available to guests, so there isn't the issue of guests who aren't gardeners accidentally picking veggies that aren't ready to be picked yet, just like "this is the garden fridge, whatever is in here is available to take from" and you guys or a staff person in the future deals with the actual garden, lol).
What can I say, I have ideas and I like to be in control thus only letting guests into designated areas when I know they're going to those designated areas.
I'm sure the place would be nice for a good stay for a vacation
we hope so!
Love the space, can’t wait to see if you guys update anything. The carpet in the bathroom definitely needs to go!! 😃
haha agreeing with you there. IF it was just for us we might leave it. but having guests....gotta go
The office could become a chill area/ game room/ away form the lounge
I don't even remember the last time I've seen a bathroom with carpet
Hahahaha True!
😂😂😂
The “office” should be a game room! We’ve rented cabins in Tennessee and they usually have a pool table and just a little space to hangout so everyone kind of gravitated to that room. Love the house!! Can’t wait to see the remodel
love this idea!
I was going to say this! Table for board games, Foose ball table, pac man machine, pool table, so many options!
I literally lived 30 minutes from there in alpine Wyoming beautiful place!
amazing! why did you leave?? haha
@@TheJurgys we moved back to our home town we missed our family and friends
How awesome! Love y’all’s energy! The views are spectacular and to answer your question, we call them nipple lights LOL so “same same but different” HAHA
haha thanks for this! that name works too haha
I am so excited about this and would book this for a week for a group of friends who want to do some kind of workshop - could be meditation, learning how to build out parts of a camper van, communication techniques- all kinds of retreat ideas are popping! I like this as a 5 BR, but if you want to make it 3 BR, be sure one of the BRs is a bunk room; The hardwood floor room is your art studio -- Stock it with all kinds of cool supplies and let your guests enjoy. The "office" room should be the media room where the TV hangs, because the doors can close and those watching TV/playing video games won't make noise in the open concept LR/Dining/Kitchen area. Um, absolutely tear out that carpet even just to put down cheap vinyl to stay in budget. I like the way you were starting to think of themes for each of the bedrooms. That's a very good idea.
I think you should decorate it like a cabin and MOVE IN IT!!
valid point! We could live here, or our RV, or the smaller park model home so we're trying to see what would make the most sense financially
Went to Tennessee recently. Different state, but can confirm mountains views are spectacular
Different state? What does that mean?
@@SouthernBelleSassy Different state from where the video takes place but my point still stands
What a wonderful place. Soo happy for you. I see family reunions happening.
do you see YOUR family reunion happening? 🙃
What a great addition...especially if you want to do a family reunion there! But the carpet and pink walls have to GO! LOL! It will be fun to see the finished project! PS...that room with all the shelves...LIBRARY! (take one leave one?)
oh that's a cool idea!
I'm packing now.🙂 It's absolutely beautiful. They say no one has the perfect life but yours has got to be pretty darn close.
Opening that blind sounded like a tea kettle. Lol
haha totally a tea kettle! definitely have a lot of highs and lows over here but we hope sharing this stuff helps others to pursue their why and go for it!
Beutiful and your energy and attitude is great! 🤗
Thanks Ana!
The views are awesome. I think the Pink has to go but the carpet in the splash zone should stay (typo). We lived in a house that had carpet in the kitchen at first, we removed it and underneath was a nice tile floor, lol.
haha it's warm for the feet for sure
Love it!!!! Great idea!!!!
you guys should visit!!
Yes, please an office with a printer/scanner. Looking forward to you guys transforming the space. I have enjoyed your journey.
would you stay here and use the office?
@@TheJurgys Yes, I own a business. So even on vacation I would need to check on email and run reports. Having an office on site would help me so much. I can picture myself having coffee and getting my work done before the family gets up. The views on my goodness the views!
gorgeous I'd totally stay if I didn't live in the UK lol but it's stunning that view is AMAZING
come to America!! haha
@@TheJurgys one day but it’s so big and so many places I want to see lol 😂
The ‘storage’ room would be a fantastic spot as a workout room…pilates, a good quality stationary bike and treadmill. Some weights pilates matts, etc.
This is honestly a great idea!
It seems like it would make a ton of sense for you guys to live in it. So much easier to keep an eye on the RV park and be nearby for issues.
so true! opening it up allows so many others to adventure out here though...so that's what we're trying to figure out
I definitely would put a pull out couch in the office for any extras.
A bunk bed room in the wilderness room and a space them in the all black room
smart!
It's way bigger than it looks! Those windows, though 🔥🔥🔥 but wwwhhhyyyy on the bathroom carpet????? 🤢🤢🤢
😂😂 imagine all the magic we could do to flipping this place!
What an awesome place!! My family and I would love to come up this summer!!
yuss!!! you should!!
I want to bring my family up this upcoming summer 😉
yess!!
Excited to see what you do with the house you always have amazing design ideas xx also can't wait to be able to come over to USA and visit the park one day xx
yusss!!! when might that be?
@@TheJurgys when I can save enough money to travel again miss all my USA friends don't think be before next year though x
When are you booking the campground?
It's live now! you can book here: bit.ly/theparkatswanvalley
4:57 You think she can manage sleeping in the tub like Kyle XY?
haha new video idea**
@@TheJurgys I only saw a few episodes, but that stuck out
Soooooo.. I have Carpet in my Bathroom Too!! >blink< I bought the house that way!.. I thought it was OOOdddddd.... So Years later- When I went to replace the carpeting... We found out that there was an awful yellow and green tile underneath! Asbestos Tile.... >blink
yikes! what's there now?
You might need to move out whilst the asbestos is removed. Chances are that it’s throughout the house. It’s a legal requirement to any seller to disclose asbestos and should have shown up in your survey. I’m very sorry to hear about this as it’s serious. Go and visit a lawyer.
@@TheJurgys Haha.. some stained
Carpet... Hahaha!!
