First time I've seen someone using the master bedroom for the kids and the back room as the master, and I loved it!!! I'm looking for solutions to have a room + office and it would works perfect I think. The entire rig is beautiful, nice work!!!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Filipe! Yes we are figuring out how to build out our desk underneath the bed when it raises in the back. It's perfect for it. Right now I have a laptop mount that goes on the bed and I just raise the bed as a standing desk ha but we love it. And the back door to the garage (now master bedroom) keeps it quiet so I can work with focus!
Looks so nice, it doesn't scream RV at all. You all did such a great job! Hope it was worth all the hours of work, trips to Home Depot, and everything else. I think our little family would enjoy staying there for a couple of days
You guys did an incredible job! Love the way y’all’s bed can be raised and lowered and all of the light coming into the room! And I gotta say… the hot tub is awesome!!
@@TheJurgys on RUclips we’re working through our national park trip from last year, but earlier this month we went to Corpus Christi and later this month we are starting our 60 day road trip from Louisiana to Michigan, then down to Florida before headed back to Louisiana!
Love it! My fiancé and I are finally a go to buy a travel trailer this summer! We can’t wait to renovate and travel full time. Hope we can come visit you guys next year. Been watching since you guys got your class A!
Buy a used RV! Most certainly avoid the new ones, they are not made anywhere near as well as they used to be! We had two brand new top of the line 5th wheels. The first one leveling system never worked and many parts replaced, still wouldn't work. Traded that one in on 2nd brand new one, we used it 4 years until when we were over a thousand miles from home a slide-out stuck in the out position, cast us over $3000 to fix, Insurance only covered part of it. We sold it and finally bought one 14 years old that was well cared for, and it works great. Most assuredly, stay FAR AWAY from camping world, they are crooks.
It's definitely nice to find one that has all its kinks worked out! Brand new units have never hit the road so the first few thousands miles some things always shake and break so if you can get a warranty on them it's worth it!
Fantastic! You all are such an inspiration to me. I'm planning to buy a toy hauler next year and do the same type renovations. It's been my plan since I decided to go fulltime RVing to have my daughter in the main bedroom and make the garage my bedroom. I'm super excited to see someone else has done it. Thank you so much for sharing.
Absolutely love what you guys did!! Thanks for the update! Can’t wait to see more videos, I always enjoy watching the videos you both post, as they are always positive and upbeat!
believe us...we love it too so they have their own space haha. They're starting to play together more and it's so nice keeping all their toys in that room
Love this! Simplifying and removing the contrasting trim work really added to the sense of visual space! Only concern is traveling. With some of the open shelving and such what do y’all do to get travel ready?
Yay!!! I've been waiting for this one!! I love seeing it all together, wish we'd had a little more time to finish up the staging and the last few trim peices! (Not me cringing at the missing trim around the bunks 😂) guess we just have to come visit you guys!!
My husband is jealous of the hot tub. We're in a Grand Design 397 and converted our garage into an office. I think he's going to pitch the idea of getting a hot tub again...
Great content! We'll start sending your channel to our clients who recently bought land from us near the camping and RV areas. This will surely give them awesome ideas. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Would have been a nice touch to thank your friends who helped with the Reno don’t know who they are (just started following y’all) but they put a lot of work in with you to make that happen!
at the hookups at our RV park...just with the hose to fill it up. And then to empty it we siphon it out with a hose and water the grass with it as it drains
this is a fabulous reno. thank you for sharing. we are looking to do the same thing for our two kids, would you be open to sharing your bunkbed build details
Totally need a link to those push lamps in the girls (super cute) room! Please and thank you. The RV is gorgeous. I'm convinced we should try it full time. So glad I found you all.
Heather we're glad you found us as well!! Feel free to reach out with ANY questions about RV life etc. And those push lamps actually came stock with the RV! They are in a lot of Keystone RVs...we just moved locations of them but I'll see if I can find a link to them specifically
We actually cut pieces to fit the slant and ours still “dips” but with the new flooring on it. We did that for when we did want to stow stuff in there and use the ramp. But now I wish we built an extended framed floor and lengthened the flooring. Because the added height of the LVP flooring is messing with our sliding doors a little bit so we might re-do it and build the extension up to the doors and that’s it
This is a older video, but hopefully yall see this comment. Where did you get the leather cushion!? My husband built us the same type of bench for our front living and I cannot find a cushion I like.
What did you guys do before to afford this lifestyle. How are you guys maintaining it now? Feel free to drop the link if y’all already have a video about said questions.
We uploaded this one years ago: ruclips.net/video/SVeH65LX4J8/видео.html. but we will do an updated one Brian! This was definitely something we struggled figuring out along the way so if we can be of help, ask any questions you want and we'll make a video about it
OK but you have stuff up there and nothing to hold them in when you’re moving no doors how did you fix that problem of everything falling on the floor around your TV in the living room
we just pack it really quick in a box and leave on the floor while we drive. Most of the things will actually stay with sticky pad adhesive they sell at RV stores
How did you get the floor in the toy hauler flush? The ramp door divot in specific. What kind of "material wood" did you use? How many sheets did you use and how did you place them?
After you removed the metal what did you use to fill in any wall gaps you had from the black original flooring and the walls? When I removed all the metal there was a lot of gaps.
We used caulking and wood filler and then painted over! For underlayment board, we used 2.5mm thick (one layer). we are right under the limit of this toyhauler stock legs...but you can add more legs as well if you want to add more support (idk if manufacturers would agree but it works!)
some of the plant holders we put adhesive on the bottom and they're heavy enough they don't fall. We forgot to take books off one time and they all stayed actually no problem. But if we're unsure we'll just quickly take them out and put in a box on the floor for transport. Worth it to us for the open space feeling and vibe
A bit late to the party, but if you have a moment to answer, do you know where we could get a hot tub like that and roughly how much water does it take to fill? Thanks, great work on this one. Love what you did, hope you don't mind if we might end up borrowing some of your ideas when we find the rig we want to customize too.
Borrow and use as many ideas as you like! We got this hot tub from Walmart (dot) com actually. There are different ones, so make sure you measure how big your porch would be and how much weight it can hold because they're all different. We got this one because it held less water than some of the hot tubs yet was still high enough water level
Awesome job on the rig! We just bought a hot tub as well, and like you, our garage is the master. I want to put the hot tub on the ramp door. Any issues with it supporting it? we did but two of the 1k pound support legs for the ramp which we plan on using, but just wondering it that will be enough. Did you add supports? If so, how many and where did you place them?
We didn’t add supports yet. We didn’t fill it all the way too for weight purposes! Trying to decide if we leave it on the deck or have it on the ground next to us
Thank you Shaun and Renee from for helping make this entire renovation amazing! Check their channel here: ruclips.net/user/TheFlippinTilbys

I love that the kitchen isn’t so huge and takes up so much space in your rv
This is the nicest most residential reno I’ve seen. Great ideas turned out great.
Wow, thank you! This is so nice of you! We still love it so much! And we're considering renting it out at our RV Park for people to try

Wouldn’t do that
