The engineers that designed the X-Maxx have to be proud watching someone do that to the truck and the thing still survives that much abuse. 👍

I believe if the vehicle is this long, you should incorporate front and rear steering. much like the long fire ladder trucks do.

Kevin, about 30 years ago I took a Tamiya Bullhead and 2 Clod Busters and built a tractor trailer. It was 7ft long, 18 inches high, 12 wheel drive and 12 wheel steering with 6 motors.
That’s awesome you need to see if you can take that to the snow and just use the back tires with spikes and see if it will work

As an X-Maxx owner think I died inside a little when you chopped one in half. then again.. new chassis and driveshaft aren't exactly expensive lol.

I laughed so hard when you launched it kev, epic sends with the long max!
Who doesn't love watching a professional moron in action! This is by far my favorite RC channel for laughs! To top it off he has been doing it long enough and hard enough to have very valuable insight to upgrades and products. that I feel many other reviewers haven't fully tested. The kind of experience you only get with some pretty expensive trial and error, not to mention scientific testing like these shenanigans....

Brilliant. I can't help thinking though, there was a lot of room for extra batteries ..... would have to sort out the chassis flex and maybe even put in a new centre drive shaft, but 80S should do it .... just need a speedo and motor than can take it.

What if you put multiple motors on it and get them to run together(synchronize)? That was great. How did it survive so much abuse? That thing was like a Timex..... almost. lol

i mean you can remotely control full size passanger planes and historically radio controlled full size has been done so seeing as remote control excavator type power equipment are pretty popular and knowing how just an RC buss easily beats this... well at least you have an longer rc car🤔
You should install neodymium magnets on the bottom of a crawler and see if you can drive it up a wall or upside down!
