lol I know how to back up a trailer quite well and watching that really made me want to try. Looked kind of like you were learning on the fly tho. My dad use to make me back up the 4x4 with a trailer on it around the drive way if I wanted to drive the 4x4. Use to hate it but man I’m glad he did it now that I’m grown

So far I like that you split into the 2 different channels. I could see why some people only want to see the big stuff but for those of us that also like this content, I think it works.
Completely agree, it's fun to be 10yrs old again and not so serious. I can enjoy a £50 RC car as much as a £500 car. It's just about the fun.

Biggest trailer tip I ever got was “drive the trailer, not the truck” and it always helped me.
In the country in which I now live 2 o'clock in the morning and I watch Kevin instead of sleeping

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a great game for practicing reversing with something being towed👍, You're right it is very tricky at first 🤣

2:32 HA, a guy who rented camping trailers in the same building my shop was in parked them all out front of mine. I saw someone just like you trying to back up a small peanut trailer into the spot. He'd back, jack knife it, pull forward, back up, jack knife it, pull up. He was 20 car lengths away from the spot. I finally had enough, walked over "want me to do it for you"? got it backed it into the spot handed him his keys. "you've done this before I take it"?
Me: Only been backing up trailers for 30 yrs haha.

Love the channel, I just got my baja 5b out and freshened her up after a few yrs of sitting, put a new carb and sparkplug and new shocks filled with fresh oil, which motivated me to get a new rc, lol and wounded up with a 6s kraton that is absolutely insane. Now I need a lorry like that, that thing looks like a blast to run.

This is a radio control that I would like to purchase in the near future.
Turning the wheels way before you feel like you should helps me a lot when backing a semi trailer. 😂
One of the buttons on the remote is for dual rate steering if you press it the turning radius is a little tighter, that will help you to back up the trailer easier too.
Also if you have the e1 which is their small tank lookin thing you can use the same remote for both

A trick that helped me to reverse. Move the bottom of the steering wheel in the direction you want the trailer to go.
Thats why you always tie down your loads lol. Awesome video

😂 I used this wpl for Halloween whith a sweet tub on the back and ran a cable to the back to open and close the tub. Did have to upgrade the gear box to the 2 speed and a brushless out runner and what not did the job perfectly 👍 even had kids running after it down the road for the sweets 😂 worth every penny 😀 👍

Kev what about a bead blaster, that shoots air into the tire, works on big rig tires not sure about monster truck tires

You should make a upgrade video. I have a wpl c24-1 with upgraded parts and it runs very well. These trucks are made to be upgraded so you can have any more fun and performance.
When reversing a trailer you steer to the side you don't want the trailer to go. Trailer goes to the right you turn right trailer goes to the left you turn left and then feather to keep it Straight

If 26x5" can be stretched around the rim that might even be better.

You should buy a bit faster motor in it so you could have more torque and power in the semi. Or could you put a better motor system in it and some better tires and see how it does as a mini rc crawler and take the front bumper off of it. Love the videos, keep it up man.
idk what that ones gearbox is like but the one ive got is a 2 speed and does a decent walking speed🤙 they are cheap and use thin wires though so it doesnt have much power in 2nd gear
@@me-rn7jxmost of is WPL fans usually swap out the thin wires for thicker guage wires. It really helps the esc to send the power strong and smooth to the motor.

I was thinking that 6x6 might make it up your vertical ramp backwards, but then you put a ramp to assist it. Good times.
Just bought myself a traxxas Xmas 8S baby but after some upgrades stronger arms bits that are prone to breaking when bashing any recommendations Kevin
You can actually get motor/gearbox upgrades and metal driveshafts for those things with fully metal gears and a significantly better 370 brushed motor, i have installed this upgrade on my MN99S and the only downside i have with it is that it is significantly slower but a lot more torque and more capable otherwise, i found out that the MN99S can actually run on 3s so with that the speed is similar to what it was stock, but yeah the motors that come with these aren't great.
If it is going left then steer left. If it is going right then steer right. That's how I was taught

How are you going to get the valve stem out after inflating the tube. They make a grease to mount tires, ive used it on tires for a kershaw skytrim.

Reversing with a trailer is easy. Just take your time and don't turn to much.

Keven use gasoline or eather starting fluid to get that monster truck tire back on the bead
On a tire this big? 😮
Or a bead blaster you fill it with 120psi and rip a valve and it blows the bead on the rim but don't be afraid of some fire 🔥 by using gas or starting fluid just keep your fingers away from the bead when lighting it

That wpl rig can actually do great on the incline. Too bad you didn’t do the incline before the 3 million pound load hahahahhaaha you can easily switch out that motor for wpl’s bigger motor which i think is the 370 size motor.
