I’m super excited to see what Lamborghini cooks up for the Temerario! However, the more powerful, track focused version probably won’t be called the SVJ. Since the SV and SVJ titles have historically been reserved for the V12 powered big brother (which in this situation is the Revuelto). What I do think it will likely be called is the Temerario STO. Either way, it’s going to be insane!

main thing is reliability of that engine. Ferrari knows how to make v12,v8,v6 & that results 296 which is absolutely masterpiece. huracan was great because of VAG & Audi dna, only time will tell how reliable this powertrain. many revolt customers are facing reliability issue already.

The Revuelto base version is at 1100+ hp and i don‘t think they want their „entry“ level model to compete with the Revuelto ( i know they dont have the same engine but from a performance point its simply to close). The ultime huracan was still 60hp away from a base aventador for good reason

Totally with you on that mate! First and foremost I see all the emphasis on horsepower and electric powered supercars in particular are able to crank these numbers to ridiculous levels. What doesn't get stated however is that at max output those batteries run out of juice in a matter of minutes. Take the Bugatti Tourbillon - I LOVE that it has a naturally aspirated V16, that alone makes it the best upcoming car. But then they add some batteries and motors which add 800 hp for a total of 1800 hp; no-one mentions that with the battery capacity at 25 KWh that 1800 hp will only last for about 2 minutes, barely enough to do a lap of any contemporary circuit. So from a racing performance perspective any EV tech adds weight for no benefit, in the case of the Tourbillon 350 kg added to the car for 2 minutes of extra horsepower. Big whoop! I would have loved the car much more if they had kept it as high-revving V16 with 1000 hp and weighing 1600 kg instead of nearly 2000 kg. Plus there is the simple fact that any EV tech is simply not exciting. For road/street/daily drive/commute/family cars give me 100% EVs definitely - the driving experience is so much more refined and lower running costs than petrol/diesel, and no air pollution in our neighborhoods. BUT for performance cars give me 100% naturally aspirated engines with minimal or zero hybrid tech. And this is what Gordon Murray gets and why the T.50 will be the finest car of this generation. A Rimac Nevera has 2000 hp - so what? The T.50 will be forever an icon, and engineering masterpiece with its engine. The Nevera will be one of dozens, seemingly hundreds, of electric cars being churned out because really, with an EV pumping out more and more power is nothing special, unlike a high revving engine. I dont think an svj variant of this car would exist. The S, SV, SVJ trims were exclusively for their more prestigious(V12) cars. At best, we will get a technica, performante, evo and maybe an STO trim for this car.
the name SV is only for their flagship cars, so the revuelto is the one that will get the SV badge, This can either be perfomante or Superleggera and Supalegerra is highly unlikely because of the existance of sesto elemento
the thing is they are not going to put out a temerario with that much power until there is already a version of the revuelto out that has even more than that figure. you might get a few hard core people who'd pick the v12 regardless but generally it's going to be much harder to sell one if the temerario is faster AND significantly cheaper.
It would probably be an STO not an SVJ.. from what I know the SV/SVJ allocation is for the v12/big daddy’s so to call an SVJ version would be unlikely but yes it would be the ultimate version of the Temerario line
Prolly a lot versions would cm out. One of them prolly being "perfomante" because the gallardo and the huracan got it. And a final version way later down the line to finish off the temerario. Just like how they did with the ultimae and the technica

Clearly there is a great deal more in this engine, if Mercedes can get 207.5 bhp per litre at 6750 rpm under warranty, say this Lambo makes peak power at 9,000 then the potential (given that the torque curve is shaped like an na car) would be 1,100 bhp at similar boost.
