I have the 2022 RAV4 hybrid and love it. I think the Venza is a great looking car! I talked to a guy that has one and he said he traded in a Lexus for his, and said they are very similar.

Thank you so much. I got a Venza Limited 2 weeks ago and liked the concept of the video rear view mirror, but it was aiming too high. I had no idea it was adjustable and now I will make it to my liking and use it.

Great review! I am not a fan of the chunky look of the RAV4. This one definitely gives me Lexus vibes. I would even go as far to say it looks better than most Lexus SUV’s. If I am not able to get a BZ4X, this is next on my list!

Thanks David!!! It’s definitely worth at least taking on a test ride! I’ve heard the 2023 Venza will have additional styling too!

Just saw one of these new Venza's today in a parking lot, and was impressed. Liked how it's bigger than my Matrix, but smaller than a Rav4. Appreciate your review. I think you hit the demographics on this one, as i'm 62. Thanks again for your making your review relatable and hand on.

Bought our 21’ limited with the optional fancy pano glass. My wife has put 31k miles between her work commute and family vacation miles. She averages 47mph. Cabin is well executed and very comfortable. A lot of soft touch leather. Not having “hard buttons” has not been an issue. Everything is very responsive and user friendly. Only complaint which is the pano glass. A burnt black mark appeared with a frosted circular outer layer. Long story short, this is an electrical short within the glass which enables the frost and regular toggling. It’s an 8k repair which we were able to get done under warranty. Extended warranty will not warrant this so read the fine print. We paid 51k OTD with the extended platinum warranty. Southern California. 1k markup

Love this car! Slick looks in both exterior and interiors plus cool system. Oh don’t forget smoother ride compare to Rav4.
Yet I rather own Rav4. Yes, it’s more economical for sure. But I go fishing trout in the woods a lot in Spring and Fall. I don’t think I feel comfortable putting dirty fishing gears including smelly wader and boots in Venza.

I love everything about my Venza except the rear red light when the rear door is open. I've smacked my arm on that sharp corner too many times which dropped what I was carrying.

You forgot to review the cabin quietness/road noise.
Would you mind sharing your experience? How does the Venza compares to the Camry in terms of cabin quietness?
    😎
    Thank you!

Funny you ask about a camry! I just had one as a rental car and I certainly can say the Venza seemed a bit more quiet. The Venza did a good job 👏

      @@larryl thanks.
I have only had a brief experience the Camry, the Rav4 is extremely noisy, so the Camry became my reference so far. If thee Venza is as quiet or even a bit quieter, it’s a good option. 😎

@@narcisoperalta7288 I would definitely try to do a test ride. As I am not too picky on road noise. But from my memory of driving , it was rather quiet

We have a xle Venza. We also have a 2020 highlander hybrid. The Venza is 2-4 decibels louder than the highlander. At 65 mph on average pavement, the Venza is 72 decibels and the highlander is 70. The highlander stays quieter when the freeway road type changes. I also have a Nissan Titan platinum and that is 68 decibels on the same stretch of highway. Very quiet.

Lol... My ICE 2008 Toyota Yaris gets on average 45 MPG highway and 39 MPG. It doesn't have fancy sunroof or fancy screen for fancy lads but gets me from point A to point B. It is still motoring on with 175K+ miles on it. Haven't had any car payments in 10 years. 🙌 🤣 😂

    • @larryl
      @larryl  2 года назад

Probably am going to be very similar to the highlander, perhaps a tiny bit smaller. However, I found myself very comfortable in the Venza. No complaints on room.
And big guy to big guy, let me tell you, those ventilated seats are a god send!
