Micah, Thanks, and as usual, very informative and well done video! am considering Venza and the CRV Sport-L. What is your personal take on this? You have a great family ❤
Thanks for the kind comment! As for Venza versus CR-V Sport L Hybrid, a Venza LE trim is both cheaper and more efficient. Plus, Toyota has killed the Venza after the 2024 model year. That should put you in a good position to get a great deal. I'd go Venza.

Two things that I noted during your test drive. While the rear door opening seems adequate, the foot well area between the lower portion of the seat and the door pillar seems rather tight. Perhaps it was just the angle I was viewing it from. Second, the rear opening seems rather high off the ground compared with much of the competition. Did you find that to be true?
Best vehicle for family is larger size cars like the Toyota highlander or similar.. in my opinion, the Venza is great for couples with a pet 😅.. in my opinion
Hey Micah, I know you say this is the 2022 model but given this was published a month ago, is the 23 model very different from this? Are you planning to review it anytime soon? Thanks!
Original Lexus RX was a rebadged Toyota Harrier. I think it was the 3rd gen RX before it stopped being a rebadged vehicle. The current generation of the Venza is now a rebadged Toyota Harrier. Thus the probable similarities.
My opinion of the Venza after test driving it: too much road noise, seat back does not provide enough center back support. Deal breakers for me. Otherwise, stylish and efficient. I can see people enjoying it.
@@hss8973 Ah, that's true. A lot of hybrids have these low rolling resistance tires and they can be noisy. Hyundai Elantra Hybrid comes to mind - its noiser riding that the ICE version of the same car.
I get what Evie's saying. It looks very efficient... at filtering plankton from sea water. Oh, and I'm surprised Toyota didn't fill up the tires before they let you borrow it.
Some reviewers say it's noisy inside which is a deal breaker for me. Others disagree. I'm considering this, or a Sienna, or a used Lexus RX for about the same price but much lower MPG with the 6 cyl. (The hybrid RX is too expensive!) Of course, there aren't really any Toyota hybrids to be found right now.
No more unmarked white vans parked at the park? The Muzio family must have upgraded neighborhoods :) Love my RAV4 Hybrid, but think the Venza is better looking.
For me the turn signals and reverse lights at lower part of bumper just HAZARDOUS.... For other motorists just to detect this vehicle for direction just take more milliseconds than usual....
The best layout for brake and signal lights, front and rear should be regulated. I've seen too many vehicles with the rear turn signals integrated with the brake lights and the signal lights are invisible if the brake lights are on. If the lights are clean, you would have to be blind not to see the rear signal lights on the Venza. I would worry about them more easily being covered with slush and snow than if they were higher up.
Great review but the problem with the cool tech roof is it uses a lot of electricity for that effect. And on a hybrid that doesn't make sense if it did Lexus would have one.
