If anyone else I having this issue, I just managed to fix it on mine.
Step 1 - download the firmware files and extract the folder.
Step 2 - format the SD card to fat32 allocation size 4096bits.
Step 3 - look in the extracted folder for the firmware.bin file for the v3 se and rename it to firmware.bin and copy it over to your formatted SD card, (just that file and nothing else)
Step 4 - insert the SD card into the reader on the printer itself and power it on.
Step 5 - follow the steps on the nebula screen and it should be working now.

Here’s an improved version of your instructions:
    1. Power the Nebula Screen separately: Ensure that the Nebula Screen is connected to a separate power source.
    2. Copy the firmware file: Directly transfer the firmware file to the SD card.
    3. Nebula Screen setup: Follow the on-screen instructions on the Nebula Screen.
    4. Insert SD card into the printer: Once the steps on the Nebula Screen are complete, insert the SD card into the printer.
    5. Select the correct model: On the Nebula Screen, choose the appropriate model for your printer.
    6. Power on the printer: Finally, turn on the printer to begin the update process.

Thank you, i had the machine on the whole time. Once i read your comment I realised that i shouldnt turn the printer on until the Nebula says connecting.

You need to take the file out of the folder. Every time you flash the printer with the same firmware, you need to rename it. For example you can rename it firmware1.bin, then firmware2.bin, etc.

take the firmware.bin file inside of the folder put that onto the sd card put that into the printer then start it up, you may have to unplug the input sensor as I had to with mine but once the firmware is installed then plug it back in and you should be all setup, i've been having issues with my printer thinking it is a KE model instead of a SE model though so there may be more issues onto it. hope this helps

Disconect G-Sendor (both ports) from Nebula Pad and run the starting procedure again.

Hi everyone. I too am having problems with this. I reached the 'connecting' phase and initially it gave me a 'motherboard communication' error message. Now it gives me a 'system error, try restarting' message. If I then restart it just eventually comes back to thats me message. If I press 'OK' it then gives me an 'abnormal nozzle!' message. If I then press 'fault reporting' it then says 'compressing' then 'uploading' message before it gets to the 'Printer self-check' page. I then press 'start' and it gives me the same 'abnormal nozzle' message again. Basically I'm going around in circles and getting nowhere. Any help on this would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks.

You have fix it? There is any solution?

You have to open the file folder. The machine cant read a closed file. The individual files need to be in the root directory.

Pull out just theEnder3V3SE_firmware.bin file from the directory. Place it in the root directoryof the SD card. rename it firmware.bin. Make sure you have View-->Show-->Filename extensions turned on first so you don't make it firmware.bin.bin :) Then insert it and turn on the printer and wait, the UI does suck, but it will finish after some time, I think it wsa 15 minutes or so.

Format the SD card, Direct the extraction to the SD card and name it something different. you need to have it off when you insert the card, power it on , follow prompts.
