The whole atmosphere is beautiful...the courtyard ...the house and the foods looked delicious as always. Also I love seeing the ancient ruins..the castle ...all part of History. The Baazaar Tahini making ,,,colorful spices..and the pretty juice mugs. All the utensils were so pretty.. too. As always a beautiful video.. Thanks David and Tasos and stay safe on all your travels.

Hi David. Hope your vacation is going well and that there is some snow in NC for Melina and Siena to enjoy. Iraqi food looks delicious. The boiled and baked dish reminded me of pastelles and arepas made with cornmeal. When Brandon said that this was going to be an exciting series, he wasn't kidding. Are you guys insane climbing up the castle without any safety nets? I was on pins and needles just watching you all going up and down the castle ruins. That was very dangerous. Thank God you all got through it safely. What a wild and crazy bunch and what an adventure!!!. So I believe I heard Tasos say that it was the second last day in Iraq and it's always emotional to see these trips come to an end but as the saying goes "all good things must come to an end". So if that's the case, then I am looking forward to the final episode. What a trip eh!!!. Let me end on this for now: I want to wish you and your precious daughters, and your entire family a very warm and safe Happy New Year. May God grant you all that you wish for and more. And to the entire team I want to wish them much success in 2023. May God continue to watch over and bless each and everyone of you. See you all in the New Year 🙏😇🕊️🍾🥳🎉❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦
Good morning .First meal looks amazing. I have come to love Iraq food. Beautiful restaurant , love the court yard. Castle glad some had survived the war. I bet is was amazing back in its day. That woo said it all lol.. Awesome view for sure. Beautiful. Now the bazar love them. Really need to buy and ship back items before I even leave .. lol. Foods Crafts amazing. Would love to bring back some of each for sure. sha’riyya omg lil bit of that .. sweet sweet..Numi Al-Basrah, i love limes so feed me.. Watch out that young man has a grip lol.. Love the natural soap. Now the pot shop. would have to ship one home if that is possible. Hand crafted. I guess would need MUCH more money to ship it /and all the items ahead of your return lol. OMG Nougat feed me Love that stuff.. small amounts but really good. Awesome adventure today . Hope Team David and friends have a wonderful blessed safe day ♥
I wouldn't stand a chance at that Bazaar! That tahini and the halwa??? It's like I died and this is what heaven would be like. Can someone confirm that David paid around $4 (us) for that huge jar of tahini? (he paid 6000 Dinar)
What about the whole f dish of fresh tomatoes ,cucumbers and greens going to the rubbish bin, can you imagine how much they waste in Iraq, it should be a started lol 😢
actually he represented iraq the real way, most iraqis i met have similar characterstics, and learn how to share positive energy instead of judging people
This Iraqi man does not know how to eat Iraqi food I swear I have seen him in other videos and he also put other things on top of the food he gets that is wrong or put it in the bread
spoken like a true loser, stop judging people, one thing i defintly dont miss in the arab world is all the judging and shit talking, learn to share positive energy you backward fool
Videos cool, but all the double dipping, eating over customers food,/ pots and grabbing out of pots of food and putting nose, face over pots of food is not cool, The restaurant and definitely you should know that's not sanitary/ disgusting!
In my opinion you are overdoing, your Arabic greeting comes across non authentic, not natural and makes you more appear like a tourist. In the last video you also were rude to your friend: when eating breakfast (chickpeas) you were so egocentric that he hardly could grab some food. Cringe…
I tried my best with the Arabic greeting, and to be honest I am a tourist. Also he's actually a paid guide, one of many around the world which I pay a good amount of money for their services, and to help take me around and show me the cuisine and culture. This trip is about trying to make content and bring my viewers along. Not only that, but you realize 95% of the footage is cut out in the final edit, and so just because you didn't see my guide eat , does not mean I hoarded all the food for myself. In fact it is the opposite. Making judgements about another person without having the full story is the real Cringe here.
Thanks!
