im from iraq and ive only been to my country once, i always wish and pray for the olds days where we were living in prosperity and peace, atleast according to the elders telling me this. I really appreciate you going to iraq and showing the true reality of iraq and the true hearts of the people! much love from an iraqi.
Thanks David you deserve more views because You show the countries that are wrongly infamous and few foreign tourists rarely visit those countries People of the world should see the reality of Iraq Greeting to Iraq and Iraqi people from Iran ❤
Yesssssss I totally agree through channels likeDavid's,and mark weins, us Americans, have been lied to about other countries, now I have to try and find an Iraqi restaurant in Chicago USA
@SindyJB I did not know that date syrup was a thing until you started watching DBH Iraq videos. I saw it was available online as well. I can't wait to try it.
Oh wow that sounds so good I love dates and to have date syrup would be such a rewarding thing for me cuz nobody else likes dates but me so it would be all mine 🇺🇸☮️👍
Antiques...always interesting to see....the wholesome breakfasts....and those beautiful archetectural buildings....and above all Markets...just love seeing markets from around the World, all the colorful fruits ...veges...everything. Another beautiful video of Iraq. As always thanks David and Tasos and safe travels.
The actor Billy Bob Thornton will not have any antiques in his home he said they are full of bad vibes and passed whatever that's cool it's it's how he believes and you know that's that's a good thing
Bro when you were eating the eggs and date syrup I was wondering wtf that tasted like. I’m Iraqi and forgot I’ve had that before. The difference is I grew up on scrambled eggs with actual dates mixed in. Great great flavor, especially when the eggs are salted for flavor. I love that you’re enjoying my parent’s home country.
Hello David, again a very lovely video. I love the breakfast it looks so delicious. I could imagine the heat you were feeling. How did you make out?? I grew up in heat, but now its to much for me😃. The market place is so interesting. Lots of fish, fresh vegetables, fruits etc. The ring, you almost had to buy it, it nearly could not come off. Lovely to see this amazing place. Thank you💕💕💕
David, Thanks You are a professional, unique and decent youtuber. I will try to make the egg with dates syrup. You missed the Zubaidi fish. We in Saudi don’t have a fresh Zubaidi like Iraq. Zubaidi with rice is a crazy food. Thanks always. With love from Saudi
Basrah, also known as Basra, is a city in Iraq located on the Shatt al-Arab river near the Persian Gulf. It is one of the major ports of Iraq and has a long history as a center of trade and commerce. Basrah is known for its cultural heritage, including historic buildings, mosques, and museums. The city has faced challenges in recent years due to conflicts and instability in the region, but efforts are being made to revitalize and create a brighter future for Basrah.
Nice video David. So simple. I loved the breakfast. One looked like a frittata and the other one looked like poached, sunnyside up, fried eggs. Healthy and tasty. Even the soup looked delicious: like a matzo ball. Loved the market but the seafood and meat areas left a little to be desired. Not my favorite. It would be interesting to see the old buildings after the restoration and renovations are done. Jafar really came to life in this one, and Tasos, where are you trying to lose weight? You look good. Anyway, David, I am glad you didn't buy the ring. It just didn't look right. Beware of buying rings and jewelry in these places because a lot of them might have nickel in the alloy which causes allergic reaction and rashes. As the plating wears off, the nickel gets exposed. So be aware. Another interesting video. What's next? 🙏😇🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦
The video is very nice, but unfortunately why this large amount of waste and rubbish everywhere. It is forbidden for this to be the case in Basra. Where is the secretariat of Basra from all this, and where do the money and wealth of the great Iraq go?

Greeting to Iraq and Iraqi people from Iran ❤
Unfortunately, the Shiite areas are not clean, and after the war, we were hoping that only the better would change, but the opposite happened

You can find date syrup "dibis" in the US in Iraqi markets , we have it in San Diego

@Devi Jones you will love it. It's healthy and so delicious. Dibis with scrambled eggs cooked in butter makes an amazing breakfast 😋

Merry Christmas to you and your family David thanks for another great video as always.
wasn't this the major battle with the marines? glad peace is back and wish we no longer make such mistakes
We hope that because Iraq was badly damaged after the war and after the withdrawal of the US army from it
David, Thanks
