leading up to the release, the adios 3 should be going on sale a lot more so that's good for people looking to stock up or try out the 3 which is a good race day shoe imo.
Great review. Sizeing question.. I am TTS in the Pro 3 and Boston 12 BUT the founder SL2 extremely cramped in the toebox and short.. Does the Pro 4 fits like the SL2?
I have the SL2 and the toe box is extremely cramped .I haven't run in them yet but from just trying them on foot ,they rub on my big toes which is a sure candidate for the dreaded runners black toe nail. Just looking at the shape of this one I would guess that this would be uncomfortable in the toe box as well
What would be the more stable out of AP4 and ON Cloudboom strike? Looking to upgrade to next gem racing shoe from AP3. I really dig the AP3 as it is stable for me. and could even consider getting a second pair. Thx!
@@Garylovescheese14 I find it slightly annoying the way my toes rub the top of the toe box, but on short races I don't get any chafing, pain or bruised nails.
@@Garylovescheese14on 10k I might get chafing on my pinky toe but anything less than that no I don’t experience any pain. I rain 7 miles today and I got no chafing , it’s only sometimes
Why would I choose this one over the Deviate Nitro Elite 3, apart from brand allegiance? The DNE3 is still cheaper, most likely more durable, (more comfortable and no toe issues?) and surely just as fast. I will say though that before this shoe I thought the DNE3 was clearly the best looking shoe, but this Adidas equals it almost:)
@@tombola4046 You can still find it in some countries in Europe. In fact just ordered it, can't wait:) Went for half a size down compared to my DN2, let's see if I was right...

Thank you so much for your review brother. Would you please tell me that, my feet size is=25.5 cm. I basically use vaporfly next%2 is 26.5 cm, Saucony endorphin pro2-26.5 cm. I never used Adidas brand before. But, i heard that their size little bit big in size. So please ensure my brother that, What size can be the good comfortable for adios pro 4, if my feet size is 25.5 cm. I would appreciate. Thanks again!❤🧡
Si tuviese un drop de 8 podría ser, con uno de 6…. Obvio que no. Por lo menos han hecho buena fecha de lanzamiento y antes de que salga la vaporfly 4 que se espera para enero, venderán unidades, luego ya…. Suerte…
I have just bought my first Adios Pro 3 and Prime X Strung for 100€ each... So I will maybe check these in 2-3 years after the price drop. 🙂 Although as amater runner I really don't have any benefit from carbon plated shoes. But I'm a sucker like many, and I love to run and in turn running shoes. 🤷🏻♂️
It does make me laugh when uk RUclips reviewers say Adidas shoes are true to size. Is that UK, Europe or USA true to size. Adidas, NB and Hoka are smaller sizes in the UK than Nike, Saucony and Brooks so what nationality are they true to size for. This is not a run testers issue alone they are all at. Nick does always state the USA size in his reviews. What has always worked for me is to go up half a size in adidas or look at the Europe and USA sizes and judge from there. I am a eur43, USA 9.5. Which is uk 8.5 in Nike but size 9 in adidas NB and Hoka.
Only relevant size is size in cm, or JP size. I wear Adidas, Nike, Saucony, Salomon, Hoka, etc. in a 28.5 cm size. For me all brands are true to size, except for Nike and Asics. With these two EU 44.5 is sometimes ok, and sometimes too small. Adidas 44⅔ has been my size for the last 25+ years, for all types of shoes not just running shoes, so for me Adidas is completely true to size.
@@BakaMFGrazie mille...mi hai risolto un problema, non sapevo come calzava Adidas. Anch'io ho in saucony, Hoka , Nike etc etc Us 10.5. Cm 28.5. Quindi in Adidas guarderò i cm . Grazie mille
I don't get. Why the hell are they producing shoes that do not follow the natural shape of a foot? Why is the toe box getting narrower towards the front while the toes obviously and clearly spread with a natural foot? Thx for pointing this out, 100% deal breaker, I stick to alphafly 3 which follows the natural foot shape quite well. Whenever I buy adidas forsome years now, thee is always an issue. I just don't buy it anymore.

Pro 3 is a beast of a shoe!

same issue with the SL2 for me, did a half size up for my size.

DNE 3 hard to find here in the states - sold out at Puma. The sunburst colorway is real hard to find.
Also hard to find in the UK
I am curious if it will gonna last the same as pro 3 as I have seen good reviews of pro 3 reaching 500 miles of still using it.

These sound great!
I have a pair of the Pro 3, and the only thing I don't like about it is the cramped toe box. Sounds like that hasn't gotten any better.
How is that shoe on shorter distances, i.e 10K ?

All the other sources I checked say the transparent segment of the outsole isn't continental rubber
Yep it's lighttraxion. Don't know why Kieran called it continental, it's not

Sorry that's my bad. Didn't explain that very clearly here.
Do you prefer Adios Pro 4 or Alphafly 3?
Why is there an SS logo lookalike on 2:55? Schutzstaffel!
I just picked up two pairs of AP3 at $88 each.... I'll be passing on these and the evo sl until a significant discount/sale.
Where did you find that deal?
Where?
I call BS lol
I love this channel, but you guys are not good at replying to comments. Which one do you prefer Alphafly 3 or Adios Pro 4?
If only they put more continental on the outsole than the small pink patch. Hopefully it works out anyway
I think he mentioned that the outsole is transparent and is all Conti rubber

Hey
The commercially available ones with red striped are just so ugly!
I’m sure we’re all enjoying waiting 3 months for the release while influencers get to crack out hundreds of miles in it first.
Unfortunately, I feel like Adidas missed the mark with this one. There are several better options from other brands.
Recommendations?
Based on what argument?
I doubt it
Vapoufly3?
Not an adidas fan as their shoes do not fit me too well. But @knerten20, please offer details
