    This is an awesome video! Do you if they make this or is the same one for a 2014 Honda TRX?

      Check out this link to Duncan’s website. It’s the total exhaust package for a 2014 Honda trx 450r. It includes the fat boy 4, the jet kit and the description includes several other recommendations for you including fuel filter and air filter. They are also great to deal with if you call them with questions.

    Question for you, did the K&N filter fit over the intake inlet from the carb or into it? Awesome quad and video! Thanks, Chris.

    • @josephbeasley2256
      @josephbeasley2256  2 года назад +3

      For the Honda TRX 250X it fits exactly the same way the stock air filter fits. It fits right over the intake and all you have to do is tighten it down once it’s over it. Any more questions feel free to ask.

      @@josephbeasley2256 awesome, thanks! I have a 2021 pretty much set up the same way with a HMF exhaust but I have a 40 pilot jet and a 110 main jet in it. I think I will go with the 42 like you did, I’d rather have a bit more fuel than not enough. I set it up like HMF suggested but I think it’s a bit lean. Did you do anything with the air/fuel screw at all or did the 42 pilot work okay?

    • @josephbeasley2256
      @josephbeasley2256  2 года назад +3

      @@christophercook3840 I also thought the HMF setup was a little lean. We didn't mess with the air/fuel screw yet but I do plan on seeing what difference it could make in the future. Also the 42 pilot seemed to work great and we noticed it made the bike run a little more rich.

    • @christophercook3840
      @christophercook3840 Год назад

      @@Q1KLT1 I didn’t buy the kit, I bought the jets individually. It was cheaper and you only need the two anyways. I got OE Honda jets. 42 pilot jet and 110 main jet.

      I unfortunately have not ridden a older model but they are surprisingly similar I have heard. In its early years it was designed so well they didn’t have to change much over the years besides some plastics and other small differences. Thanks for sharing.

    So I have a few questions, if you ride in the mud and dust is it fine for the air filter and motor? And do I need to have k & n? Because I already have a uni filter. Thanks

    • @josephbeasley2256
      @josephbeasley2256  2 года назад +2

      If you plan on riding in lots of dust and mud you probably should put the air box lid on for extra protection. Also you do not need a k&n airfilter. We tested the jet kit with the stock air-filter and it rode just fine. However Duncan racing does recommend one for maximum power increase. We also noticed that it just ran smoother and faster with a k&n airfilter compared to the stock foam filter. Anymore questions feel free to ask.
