As a visualy impaired angler, this is exactly why I find carp fishing difficult. Light lure fishing is my go to really Never back down to a challenge though, I'll be trying for the carp again at some point. Cheers for all the hints and tips guys.
I can't wait to fish in spring! And with the night fishing restriction being lifted soon, it gonna be such an amazing time! Keep us with the amazing/helpful videos also ❤
Thanks for all the tips and tricks lads. I've finally bought the last couple of things for my fishing kit (landing net and baiting needle) Hope to head out on my first trip at some point when lockdown eases off.
As you get older Alex believe me your memory goes so your videos have served me well after a good few seasons now. It's warm enough finally to get off the sofa and catch some fish. We'll I,ll try to catch some 😂
@@fishingtutorials not a problem, you two are the reason I’m back out fishing, truth be told you both pulled me out of a dark place with your videos and gave me motivation again so if anything it should be me thanking you both!
Worth it for the strange webs Alex weaves by accident then has no idea how to get out of, as soon as we went down the “sense of smell” road I was a bit disappointed Carl helped him put the breaks on it lol.

I recommend yellow polaroids on misty days and last light... Great Video 👏👏👏
Hats should have a black underbrim, wear polarized glasses (amber or yellow) and wear a neck gaiter(buff) Wear it right up to your eyes to block any light you can...now you can see in the water better. My net smells like carp...once in a while I can get a whiff of them down at the river too, but thats not a good way to track them. Carp follow the weather..if its hot, they go deeper...sometimes they sun themselves too. They are always near weeds. Tastes great, less filling?
I fish a deep quarry and want to use your tips with corn and crushed boilies. How would you get it out at distance? Alex threw some in but that's not always possible.
Just came across a lot of them, some looked 3-4ft long, nearly beaching themselves on a natural dam trying to mate I guess. Nothing I had got them to bite. I think they were too busy
What are you tinking about mix of swet corn ,craset boils , halved boilies ,whole boilies, taiger nut (not to mach),barley and hemp for fiding in this time ?
Great vid as usual guys and it's nice to see Alex in front of the camera. However I think you should start writing a script before you start because the poor lad seems to have problems putting his thoughts into words. In fact forget that because it's much more entertaining watching him fumble his way through it. Lol.
Hi carl! Hi alex! I just wanted to ask If u had anymore advise? Only because me (Aaron) and my dad (Martin) went fishing yesterday and did all of this and still didnt catch. We have both been blancking since November and are getting quite annoyed now. Thanks! Aaron!
Another good tip for spring is to strip off then run around the lake shouting ‘Gweneth Paltrows Vauxhall Meriva’ at the top of your voice. Usually you’ll have the lake to yourself after doing this.
Polarized glasses are the only way to go. They are very important for fishing. A life time of fishing and having that glare off the water is a dangerous mix. Protect your eyes ladies and gentleman.

Thanks, more to come!
Happy Spring Alex and thank you-
Thanks a lot!
Another aspect is to fish on the right side of a lake. In Spring you should fish the bank on which the sun shines :)
Just about to go carp fishing for the first time in 1 hour, wish me luck
How did it go?
I love that hat, it works really well, can't wait for the hoodies!

Another great video lads!
Another great video guys keep them coming 👍👍
Fantastic video yet again lads 👌🏻
If you don’t want the hassle of a zig rig just stick on a float with a. Bit of corn had carp on that many times especially on the warm days
After 8 hours on the wrong side of the lake today, I wish you'd posted this earlier 🤣🤣 great vid
I can’t smell carp but sometimes on the rivers you get a funny smell before you start catching lots of bream
Awesome tips mates!
Great video thanks guys 👍😎🙂
What glasses are they?
Also wondering that
Korda classic sunglasses :)
Excellent tips 👌
Amazing stuff
Sitting in a swim watching you as it's dead quiet !

Using a 'Spod' or 'Spom' is a good way :) or a catapult can work ok too, but can be less accurate.
Working on a how to spom video atm - should be out soon!
Just came across a lot of them, some looked 3-4ft long, nearly beaching themselves on a natural dam trying to mate I guess. Nothing I had got them to bite. I think they were too busy
its great
72k already doing bits 🔥
Never realized how finicky carp could be until I started trying to fish for them..
What are you tinking about mix of swet corn ,craset boils , halved boilies ,whole boilies, taiger nut (not to mach),barley and hemp for fiding in this time ?
If you can smell carp had me in stitches 🤣
Will you ever cover cage feeder fishing?
Can you please do more tutorials on rigs
hello
Smelling Carp, Small intimate waters where carp feed in the margins, amongst weed or silt - you can smell them out ;-)
Great vlog lads what polaroids are they please
Get a Carl and Alex hat, eat rice krispies.
Ready to catch a carp.
Yep, you understood the video perfectly! haha
I’m going to be fishing in a lake that is usually very very active with carp tomorrow but have never fished there in spring got any other tips
Hello Carl and Alex, may I get the brand name and the model of your sunglasses? Those look dope!
Korda Classics! :)
Hi Carl and Alex!
What polarised glasses would you recommend?
We've got the Korda Classics :)
Would we recommend a zig rig for a pit around 16-18ft deep?👀
What's the Brand of the Polarized glasses?? Lookin nice

I dont know if y’all made a video about this. But how do you find fish in rivers of 10 meters. Because i dont know where to start
And with fish i mean carp
What do you do when a lake isnt use to boilies or tiger nuts
Wish I watched this before my epic blank today 😅
What Hook Bait Do You Use As You Didn't Say
In spring I like to use 12mm pink pop ups, 2 grains of fake corn or a piece of pepperoni.

Why would it be better to use a zig rig instead of float fishing?
where did you get your polarize glasses from and from what Brand are they?
They are Korda Classics!!!
Hi guys, do you know if there are levels of Polaroid glasses? Things I should know before buying a Polaroid?
Hi Gertjan, good question, I actually don't know, however the ones I use for my fishing are just standard polarised glasses which work great.
@@fishingtutorials thank you. I have a Polaroid but it was 20€. So I was thinking of investing in a more expensive one if those would be better.
Our ones are the Korda Classics, they work nice for us!
@@fishingtutorials thank you for the help, keep up the great video's guy's.

Struggle to find a peg again this season yet alone the fish
When using a CHOD RIG should the main line be slack or tight?
Slack with a light lead
Reasonably slack mate, no need to have it completely loose, just don't pull it too much once you've cast in!
You can’t really smell carp 😂 thanks Alex 👍😂
The word is portion to big of a portion 😂🤣👍
