    RizomUV makes unwrapping so easy and fun. Absolutely in love with this software :)

      @bron lebron - I haven't used Max for a long time, but I remember the UV Editor sucking hard.

      I always understood the difference to be Virtual Spaces is for purely Virtual Objects, and Real Spaces is for objects that will be in the Real world, for example CAD models.

    Thanks for the great Video! Do you know, if there's some way to manually set or lock the Texel Density of an island group while packing? Hope to see more from you soon. 🙂 Cheers

    I have a doubt, in the Unwrap Panel , in the last section Constrains, the last couple tools are there, but they are unavailable, I think I know what they does, I think that allow you to mark entire edges selection to become in a guide, but not horizontal, nether vertical or diagonal, but curves or custom path, but mo matter what I do can`t make them available, please let me know how to make èm being available, thanks you.

    nice tool, but besides the uptodate UI i see nothing i cannot do with headus....maybe the color id tool.. it looks handy..

      @@tomasla9345 - Same, I'm old as hell lolz. So you're not using Maya's inbuilt UV tools then?

      @@DIGITALMEAT not really, back then maya uvs tool were kind of bad.. and the school had the Headus License, so it was an easy option.....

    Can we somehow save the entire project with all settings (Padding, Map Rez, T.D., etc) and assigned groups in the 2022 version? I know that there are wasn't this option in 2018 but it was in To-do list.

      As far as I'm aware, that data doesn't get embedded in the .FBX, your best bet would be to ask the developers at www.rizom-lab.com/contact-us/

    I have a question for you u. Could you in next movie talk a bit more about Packing properties man ?? Not sure why but it looks like I cant get them right... and my ilands are not taking whole UV space.

    Any idea why I can never get RizomUV to work with my Wacom Cintiq?

      Never used one, what OS is it? And what exactly is the problem? does RizomUV not load? or is it more to do with pen clicks?

      I actually planned to upgrade my perpetual license in September, unfortunately this year has not been kind. I upgraded my GPU in the summer which cost the earth, then work dried up this fall. I'll be lucky if I can pay my rent at the end of this month (kill me) 😅😅
