@@quantrellh.4939 I was hesitant at drilling an additional hole (the top one) but after mounting it with only 2 screws it moves too much, as I was about to drill i saw your comment! double tape worked! Thank you! The downside is that it can be pry open easily.
@@GiuseppeM That's true, but even with a drilled hole it can still be hammered off...lol. my point is that if a burglar wants to get in the house they will find a way! But, glad that it works! I was hesitant to get this as well and realize u don't really need the extra drill hole.
So our new house has a front door lock, and a deadbolt above. What are your thoughts? should i get teh smonet door lock or the smonet dead bolt version? i am presuming i would have to just go with one or the other and leave the 'other' unlocked? thoughts?

@@EscoPicoTrane you just force it it can't be on it has to be off the door and you can just force it over like the inside I think if you push up it'll curve around to the other side
Was hoping to see template usage and also how to reverse the handle. None of that is in the instructions. Except here you forgot to drill the hole with the supplied drill bit, so your lock will probably twist off after a few weeks....
@@StormyDog I was about to make a special tool for the odd nut inside. Then...light 💡. What I don't get is the locking issue. It automatically locks when you close it. Can never stay unlocked. Or am I missing something?
@@shanevanhove8026 Look in your TTLock app under settings. There's an auto lock setting that you can turn on or off or set to any duration in seconds. I set mine to 600 seconds (10 minutes) for instance.
Sorry but I just installed the lock. Your video has many mistakes. The backing was installed backwards cushion side is toward the door. You also didn’t show the hole you need to drill towards the top of the lock. Very important or else your lock moves.

So what do you think the template and drill bit is for? You missed half the installation! LOL Your lock feeling a little loose?
You probably don't need it... just throw some 3m adhesive tape where you supposed to drill a hole to keep it steady.

The second panel with the foam was installed incorrectly. Foam side touches the door.

To reverse the handle just rotate it upwards and over before installation, takes less than a second.

It looks like the device is seen in private rooms at banks or other confidential places.
You completely failed to show the step of drilling out the door for the top mounting screw
and he forgot the screw under the batteries.....
