I went to 4 Antique stores to find this exciting vintage doll
Had some laughs and found a Heavenly doll treasure!! What a quality doll!!
Fun around and shop with me till I find a lovely doll in un-played with condition

WOW! Such a fun and lucky find for sure! This doll and all of her outfits are amazing! Deluxe Reading made some really nice dolls/toys! I was five years old when my Godmother mailed me a huge package. My mom helped me open it and inside was the “Deluxe Reading Kitchen set.” I still hope to add this to my doll/toy collection. I’m not usually into baby dolls I love fashion dolls and Barbie Jem and the Holograms etc but this is a Gem for sure! She is so lovely 🥰 I would loved to have snagged her up too! What an amazing vintage find! Someone cherished her before you and took very good care of her how amazing this is like a piece of doll history!!

That is marvelous. I didn’t have her as a child, but I did have Deluxe Reading Suzy Smart. Which I can’t find. Best of luck. Let me know when you find her. Such a cool doll.
That's Candy Fashion, she came with a whole wardrobe and dress forms in a large box that had a hanger rod to hold the fashions with hangers. She's very nice Sue! Deluxe Reading also made Topper toys including your Suzy Cute doll, Dawn dolls and the Suzy Homemaker toy ovens ect.💗💗💗
I didn't know they made Topper toys also! My first doll I remember as a child was a Suzy Smart. I would love to find her but hard to come across. They did make great quality toys!!😊😍
@@BarbieLove Deluxe Reading dolls were called "super market " dolls because that's usually where they were sold, Topper was sold mainly in department stores. 😊

SUE, I have the dope on this! First let me say that your Candy Fashion is the best i have seen! This big concept doll was sold in supermarkets high on a shelf maybe behind the customer service counter for little girls to look up & ohh and aha over... CF must have been incredibly eye catching in its great box, selling very well? Candy Fashion is kind of a mix of quality, but who cares? The doll itself is very light weight and has completely come apart over the years except for yours(!) which appears perfect! The quality of the clothes in contrast is very good. I love the lavender dotted sunsuit concept and the beautiful chiffon pink dress is built sturdy as a rock. The matching rhinestone studded purse is so well made. Very thick material on the green dress. The 3 piece blue suit very appealing with the oddball band hat that you illuded to thrown in. One of the best doll fashion concepts of the period, I'd say. The clothes are much more practical (and affordiable) to something Alexander's Cissy would wear. The concept of this doll with the clothing stands for the outfits is A+ The only thing you seem to be missing is the jewelry for the playsuit. Lavender and white plastic pop-beads Casual and perfect! For collectors not as lucky as you their collapsed Candy doll can be easily substuted by a large Revlon doll, Sweet Sue or Cissy. Sue, you have it made with the summer steal of the year! How long can this big purchase satisfy you?
Oh Gary you are so correct. I had to have this doll the minute I saw it. I don't see any damage to anything! The quality is superb. How long will the purchase satiisfy me? Just till the next big Catch comes alone. 😂😂 But I don't usually buy big dolls. So, she is my big doll find for a while.😍

That doll is incredible. I want one. Fashion doll from before Barbie had baby face. Hence Tammy. I must slap myself in the face " Thou shalt not covet ". I think hats use to have elastic that went under the neck to hold it on.

We have a mint in box Candy Fashion set. Deluxe did a great job with this set. I hope that over time, you find the missing pieces to your set. They are getting harder to find.

I'm going to have to look for this doll, I love her outfits the last one looked like a stewardess uniform. She might be able to fit tonner doll jewelry possibly they got a lot of bead and pearl style necklaces, but their earrings are very fragile.

Hello my dear Susie today is really my birthday and I'm so must be so excited and so happy when everything but in a way I feel emotional very miserable because a 34years old person supposed to have someone else in her life not being single but yesterday I had it in very terrible experience with this guy or works in Tony's Michael he gave me a very very bad attitude he didn't wanna have nothing to do with me as a friend/relationship or anything like that he told me you're busy he told me that he doesn't wanna go to the concert with me because he has to go to work every day every this week but I told him to cut I told him that the concert is going to start in the evening at Thursday at 8:00 PM till 11:00 PM it's not late we could still have gotten together but he doesn't wanna have nothing to do with me like you months ago he he would've looked at me every five minutes now he doesn't even do that anymore I feel like he has someone and that's why he keeps giving me the cold shoulder and he's also giving me too many excuses no I did not cry in front of him at all I became a strong person and I also said that why are you being mean to me I deserve to get respect from him and everything else nor I did not get any respect from him or any nice comments or anything nice from him he's a loser definitely he's a bomb he's a a jerk and everything else do you know he's 38 years old two more years he's gonna be 40 and if you already have a girlfriend good for him but he won't even tell me if he has one or not because his damn excuses are always I'm busy I'm busy I'm busy I'm busy and I'm busy and I told him yesterday that you sound like a broken record because you keep on telling me the same thing over and over again I wanted to talk to you like a normal person to a normal person to a normal friend to a normal friend you didn't even wanna try to talk to me yesterday normal person or as a normal friend at all you just kept on telling me that you are busy yesterday and that he's busy and that he has work every day like he's a workaholic well the data drove I don't really need this kind of guy who's going to drive me insanely nuts telling me every day especially on the phone or or anything like that saying he's busy he's busy he's busy which I never gave him my number at all and Jamie it's true my best friend forever she has helped me on Thursday definitely with make up with the guy who is 34 years old his birthday is on August 16 and I think that we are going to be a perfect match together as a friend friendship/relationship she send a picture of me with clothes to his messenger then an afternoon and Thursday I decided to get through a beautiful text message to him then around 7:20 PM Jamie called me saying that he called Jamie by mistake because he thought it was me unfortunately that was not me because that was her phone but also she gave him my phone number so I have no idea if he's if he's planning to call me this Mike holiday or or should I call him from messenger from her phone any advice you can give me with this I've been very very grateful I don't wanna die alone and I don't wanna die from loneliness all of my friends already have relationship between free years with a girl and a guy and I got a guy and a girl with for 11 years they've been together and I haven't been have not been with any relationship with any guy at all OK of course I had a few guys calling me as friends but they were never they were never really seriously with me I was looking for a guy who had the same interest as I had that would be number one trust number to loyalty number three commitment number four listening to each other and understanding each other that me and this other person or this guy will have the same thing as I would and believe me or not at the sushi Ai would never ever ever heard him or I would never even hit him scratch his face like a cab my parents raise me to be the right way his ex girlfriend was abuse if towards him very very bad and he's no longer with her battle I mean of course he keeps on bothering her I mean she keeps bothering her by calling her by calling him every day but he doesn't wanna have nothing to do with her anymore I keep looking at him on his Facebook like I'm having so many crushes on him but I barely know him so how would I want to talk with him because he's my mom's friend son and I would like to get to know who is first second I would like to be friends with them and I would like to be a relationship with him if that would be all right any advice you can give me I'd be very grateful you know I often thought about even cutting myself with a sharp blade for myself in this this die that way my entire life you know any of this guy is gonna be the one and I should actually tell if my favorite flowers were lavender roses lavender roses means it's true love , thanks you for everything into me in for a thing else
Anna, I know it is hard being alone. But don't hurt yourself, no one is worth that!! I am not an expert on relationships. But I have heard it said just be yourself and enjoy your life and you will meet someone for you. I don't know if that is true or not. I would not call this guy, unless he tells your friend he would like for you to call him.
