My daughter wanted to unbox one of her 90's doll. WAS 90'S THE PRETTIEST BARBIE EVER??

For some people math class is tough, I’m guessing a child who struggled with maths would feel better knowing Barbie struggled too 🥰🥰

I agree that the 80's and 90's had the prettiest faces 🥰🥰I also agree with you about Math class is hard! I struggled with it more than any of my other classes and i think Barbie was just expressing it and there should not have been more read into it. I think people who weren't happy about it were wrong imo. I had a really fun time watching this video ☺ Thank you and your Beautiful Daughter for coming on to show us. That Peaches and Crean Barbie is Gorgeous! I have the outfit but not the exact Barbie unless someone cut her bangs. My Peaches and Cream Barbie has really long, soft hair with Bangs. I am thinking she may be Totally hair Barbie but her hair isn't crimped. I bought the doll at Goodwill one week and the next week found the bag of clothes that had the Peaches and cream outfit. She looks really pretty in it anyway ☺I am having a hard time identifying my Barbies. I bought two books and they have helped some but not enough. Do you have any identifyer Barbie books you would suggest for 80's and 90's Barbies? I did find out i have an outfit that goes to a rare Barbie called Sophisticated Lady. The doll has very short silver hair is what the book says and shows but it is in black and white. Anyway, Thanks so much again and it was nice to see you 🥰🥰💖💖Oh PS, I am not sure if it is safe to clean the sophisticated lady cape in cool water with a bit of vinagar and soap because it is velvet. What would you do? I am thinking just leave it alone.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the video!!💕 Far as telling the dolls. It is hard because mostly they just changed the make-up. I have a few shorts and a video on 80's dolls. They show what the eyes look like a quite a few. I usually google a certain doll by name and try to find a picture with a close up of the eyes. They eyes are the tell all in mostly of these dolls. Sophisticated lady cape will fade really bad if put in water. Unless it's terrible I wouldn't risk it. But if you do, use a lot of vinagar not a bit. I think there is also a product you can buy that helps keep things from fading. I have never used it, only heard about it. Good luck. Oh I for sure have a short showing peaches & cream Barbie that will help you identify her.

Nice to see your daughter in a video with you. I think she looks like both you and her Dad. Would have loved to have had a daughter, especially one who would share "Barbie love" with. Blessed with sons only who think my Barbie collecting is - well not so great. This was fun. I guessed correctly which one would be unboxed. I agree that math can be tough for some. I tutored pre-algebra at a community college many years ago and some students had quite a bit of difficulty and others once I explained it a different way then understood. I think people just didn't want any negative messages to come through with a doll their children played with, in order to encourage them to always keep trying. Thank you for another fun video.

You made me laugh with the comment on grandsons, I have been blessed with 4 granddaughters and recently one great granddaughter. Another great granddaughter is on the way. Only one granddaughter still a child and she has moved on to Rainbow High dolls. You can be sure my great granddaughters will receive their first Barbie from me. Still hope to instill collecting on one of them - to leave my dolls to someday.

Barbie was right, math class *was tough*! 😅 I agree that I’d have found it reassuring as a teenager knowing that Barbie struggled too, lol. It was nice to see your daughter participate in your video:)
It was for me too. I was never comfortable in math class, especially in high school. IT WAS TOUGH

I was so bad at math (especially fractions and geometry) in 7th & 8th grades. The math teacher tutored me. But guess what, years ago when I first started shopping for clothes and footwear for my Barbie dolls and I'd see [insert fraction] off, I learned fractions even better. Geometric shapes on Barbie's Mod clothes (and the shapes of some) educated me on geometry.😁

Last month I found on eBay a b&w-striped minidress similar to the one actress Margot Robbie wore in the top-glam promotional tour for the BARBIE movie. I haven't yet seen the film because I purchased a copy via pre-order through my cable co.💖💖💖💖💖

Thanks Karen ! The 90’s dolls had some cool fashions. Very representative of the time just like the 60’s and 70’s dolls. I am not much of a fan of the newer dolls though. Unless it’s a speciality doll that coat a lot. But the normal Barbie dolls lack luster to me .🥰

Now, if the Barbie did have some corrosion from the old batteries...just get an old tooth brush with water and baking soda and scrub up the terminals on Barbie back. It will work just fine after that.
Well, as far as Math...I'm a girl and got a Bachelor's of Science in college. I had to have A LOT of math!!!

Have Rappin barbie and the boom box still works!Also have caboodle deboxed.Listen a boxed peaches and Cream Ive seen go for over a$1000.Mine is deboxed and a bit played with.She is 1981.Listen as a child who was constantly told I wouldnt do well in math....that phrase needed to go.I had to get a tutor to pass the CBEST and NTE.He deprogrammed me and I loved math and taught it for 40 years!

I remember Peaches & Cream Barbie was a BIG doll in its time but can't believe it is $500 on ebay! Math class is tough and I could never get out of it. It is intresting that Barbie is getting in trouble for making this statement. I think fans must dig deep to be offended. I suppose I do grasp the controversy a bit but over the years Barbie must have done & said worse. A tempest in a teapot.
SueBL, I have been waiting to drop this on you for a time. If you remember any of my posts I am a Barbie traditionalist from 59 through maybe 1966 or 67. I do like some of the early mod outfits and am lovin' my Twist & Turn repro and the Marlo flip T&T. So into this comes something I would not expect myself to buy. On ebay i became charmed by Barbie's Pool Party from 1973! It reminds me of those bright waiting pools parents would have for kids in their front yards back in The Wonder Years. Barbie's looks like that but is much bigger. It comes with a diving board and slip & slide ladder in orange & yellow. It is incredible that Iwas able to put this together.I just stare at it and like it a lot. Great display for all kinds of not giant summer dolls. Your Barbie house on the floor is eye catching. I would not buy it but it is fun to look at and enjoy. I feel like I have seen this laid out for display at Cosco.
I too love the first run of Barbie dolls. But I too find myself being drawn to things I wouldn't have thought I would want. I guess when you get hooked on Barbie the sky can be the limit. I think I have that pool. I have one I did a video on. It holds water very well with it's liner. The dolls houses do take up so much room! I don't think I can hold another one. But would love to have them all! LOL
Yeah, the blue liner is the thing. It so like a real wading pool. I will probably never fill it with water but certainly could. Very eye-catching.@@BarbieLove

I think it was silly. It would have been no different than Ken saying it. Society seems to go in stages of picking on Barbie. That kind of controversy distracts from real issues such as improving education for all. Paying teachers a fair wage. On the lighter side, I think it is great you share your hobby with your daughter. She is a stunning lady....or is that something I am not supposed to say?😊
