  • Some points on the 1911 barrel bushing. Just a basic overview. Not the be all end all for sure, but maybe a question you may have had in the past gets answered.

    Could you do a various barrel ramp video similar to this ie non ramped vs ramped and or advantages to different ramp cuts

      Yes. I actually had them drawn up on the whiteboard and was going to go down that rabbit hole last week. It's in the pipeline.

    What about the Briley Radial Bushings?

      They just never really caught on, in my opinion. Don’t know why. I’ve had hands on thousands of 1911’s in my day & that was rarer than a Bomar Tuner Rib.

      @RobSchauland1911 lol, so they are a good solution that's slept on? Because the logic in their solution is sound. And has me wondering about one when this mim factory one breaks.

      I switched to Briley bushings and barrels about 8 years ago. Pretty sure I will never use any other bushing now.
