This was an awesome Tutorial! I was able to follow it step-by-step. When it came to you speeding up, I just paused every so often to make sure I was getting it right, and it looks amazing! Now, I have a question. How do I export this to keep the same glowing effect?
if you care still 8 months later. for projects that have glow and stuff, under the render settings turn on Ambient Occlusion, bloom, SS Reflections.. maybe some others but that will def help
ok so have there been updates to the sight your using because i get no REady1 options when i follow the instructions you give i am only getting edge 1 2 3 4 and internal 1234 .. so how do u get ready 1 ?

Because this is not really a material tutorial.The main purpose of this tutorial is to make 3D logo from 2D image. So, I didn't want to extend the tutorial.

You can remove the part of the image that you don't want using any image editing software. For eg. using background eraser tool of Photoshop. Export that image in svg format. And then use it in Blender.
It would be nice to have a real tutorial that doesn't skip steps...

Some of the mesh disappeared when i moved the octree up on the scale but it moved back into place when i moved it back down

when I go on the website its only do only black vectors
I tapped P and hit selection, and it erased the background instead of letting me change the color
When I save my logo then exit the blender and open it again , the lights edits disappear , what can I do to keep the lights ?!
