Good info. My biggest tip for beginners is too use the fact that (I believe) the level of each world/zone/boss area locks as soon as you enter, and the level is based on your archetype levels and gear levels. So if you are having trouble with a boss (such as Nightweaver) don't be afraid to try her once, then if unsuccessful, go grind up some scrap and materials in other zones or adventure mode, upgrade your gear a few levels, then come back to the boss that was giving you trouble and it will feel a lot easier.
If you do a 100 flops reggie will sell the leto amulet which is also pretty nice if you're running ultra encumberance, you can do the 100 flops in the ward just keep track of it a little since nothing pops up when u do unlock it. (I've spend 2 hours flopping not realizing I already did it cause I was waiting for a popup 😂)
I find Handler much better than Challenger. The dog is a good decoy and people say it gets in the way but I've never had that issue. Handler/Medic got me through Apocalypse.
i cheesed my way through apocalypse with alchemist/medic. super easy to keep you alive plus the damage bonus from the 2 class is all damage, i tanked my way through the final boss.
I know I’m a year late catching your video content, but I just downloaded R2 off of PlayStation plus and I’m having a blast with it. However, it is confusing, and your videos have been really helpful in lighting the way.
Same here I just started this game off PS+ and it's so fun! Great find and seems like alot to enjoy here! Haven't even started anything but solo content cuz im scared to be so behind 😂
Still being useful 7 months later. I went from really liking the game, albeit full of stress and an absolute slog playing hunter to the NightCrawler (got owned by her), not even knowing I was playing a glass cannon and getting punished for even 1 mistake to loving it using this guide. I will go back to hunter later cos I didnt even know this was a class that is very unforgiving and probably best played with some experience behind me.
here myself, started off with Hunted :D on Veteran, but the challenge was good, now figuring best way to level up all archetypes, using Finger scary lv10 weapon and lv 19 pistor you get from lamp in beginning. Not sure what other weapon I should use as I started Nightmare and struggle with DPS I think, well, but also in the process leveling other acehtypes
Apparently if you belly flop a hundred times the game gifts you an amulet. Don't exactly remember what it does but if I had to guess probably helps increase the amount of weight you can carry or something
Just finished a survivor playthrough without leveling any weapons to see how much scaling affects difficulty, was an absolute breeze, could even do the lv 13 final boss at lv 7 no problem (granted having 150 hrs experience on other saves helped a little), but my ultimate beginner tipp would be: Do not level weapons on 1st playthrough, I know it is tempting, but don't do it. It's an absolute noob trap that will do nothing but make the game harder. Learn the basics and farm the stuff you want while the game is still easy.
Spend all that time in Labyrinth, and not pick up the simple to get Enigma? Even after the nerf, it's still a beast. Find the portal to the left of where you enter that changes locations, enter the one that has the lines of light like you're going ludicrous speed, enter and kill the mini boss. Bam, still one of the best handguns in the game.
50 seconds in and already will appreciate your video because I'm definitely not enjoying the game as a new player. Killed a few ads on my own, and an occasional mini boss in world but the desire to rage quit is so real it takes all the fun out of it. Thank you for putting this together and giving me some hope.
God your a savior 😭 I’ve been struggling severely this video was definitely exactly what I was hopping to find this morning thank you man your the best 🤙🏽
Amazing video. Just what I need. I dunno how long I've been playing this, hours and ain't completed nothing yet. Nobody has ever put 1 of these videos out in this way. Only gameplay guides. Amazing video. I sub added. Thanks and we'll done mate.
Just wanna say well done with your remnant vids. Seems like you really love this game. Im very impressed with the game. Never played the original. But this was clearly made by people who love gaming. Shooter games are my number 1. Keep up the good work. I hope your getting a good income from it all. Cheers.
haven't seen any videos mentioned is you have loadouts!🤓 Click in on your leftstick hovering over your stats and you will get a load out menu that saves you so much time! I really like the game but there is just way too much stuff they don't explain for new players...🤔🤕
Loadouts were recently added to the game. All the videos you’re watching are probably from closer to launch meaning loadouts wouldn’t have been in the game
Don't you only get one prime perk once you pick your starting class you can only have that prime perk, is that correct? or do you get other classes prime perk if you switch them to be the primary class instead of the one you started off with?
In the location where the MP60r is, in that room when you looked through the window, there was a purple item on the other side. Did anyone see it? If so, how can you get it?
@@Born2Gameit felt overwhelming because I haven't even started the game, but now that I'm couple hours in, I'm following your guide and it's not that bad. My apologies for jumping into conclusions. 😅
@ItsSydneyCanada disagree Just started myself and this is one of the best guides I have found. Helped me a lot and I just beat lonsom I found others by bolt something, he explains absolutely nothing....great guide! Lol

Meanwhile the next zone: “hello motherfucker”
Oh you dirty little Sanchez you’re brilliant
Made quick work of the final boss with this starter on Veteran for the first play through. Bravo mate!! 👏 👏 👏

Get gud then farm survivor in adventure mode. Don’t rob yourself of the challenge or you’ll be stuck playing survivor/veteran forever.
major thanks, rage-quit
A breeze?lmfao I get even get past the first level on survival

Thank you for this guide. A lot of builds are difficult to reproduce for a new comer. You really helped start off the journey.
You’re welcome, I’m glad it helped 👍

I wish I was just half as good as you. It's hard. I just started playing and am frustrated with the game 🎮
I'm just installing it I will start with the challenger

Mate, how I only have 238,7 armor with full leto put on? Thanks for your help!
Don't you only get one prime perk once you pick your starting class you can only have that prime perk, is that correct? or do you get other classes prime perk if you switch them to be the primary class instead of the one you started off with?
You get the prime perk of the archetype you have as your primary archetype at the time. It changes when you switch archetypes

And the challenger is useless when dying against bosses
You are fooling no one Talos
Not very beginner friendly with all this necessary, time consuming setup.
This takes no time at all compared to some stuff in the game

refunded. The game is so overrated its not funny.
Cringe.
Game is actually fun tbh
