My Take on F-150 Lightning's One Year Ownership Before Cybertruck Delivery

- Sharing my thoughts of the Ford F-150 Lightning Pro before I take delivery of the Cybertruck Sunday tomorrow! I am impressed with the truck inside and out. It is a perfect daily driver, a main family/household vehicle, a grocery getter, a devil speedster, hauling, towing? You name it. It saves gas for it's size, as fast as a Raptor, and the most comfortable truck driven! If you can look past the minor issues like myself, then you will not regret it!

20 grand to repair some body damage??? was the frame or battery damaged too? Seems insnaely high
No frame n battery damage. The shop told me the aluminum panels r expensive to repair. It is what it is i guess 🤔
@@cantonlo crazy, i thought it being a common f150 body that would mean average repair costs. Maybe its just everything is expensive as hell nowadays...
@@garrylarose1506 exactly... Repairs off all cars have gone nuts. The lightnig shares a lot of parts with the F150 which makes it cheaper and more available. Wait until you see the cost to repair a cybertruck.
Should have stayed with the Lightning. The Cybertruck is a gigantic mistake and this is coming from someone that likes Tesla.
I agree. In the video, I mentioned that the Lightning is the best vehicle I have so far. The Cybertruck on the other hand, is a completely different animal. I do think they are for different audiences and not a direct competitor.
@@cantonlo I agree with your assessment. They are not for the same market or use case. I get that the Cybertruck is fun and exciting right now but that will die down once it becomes more common. For my practical needs, I would definitely go with the Lightning.
