Art Haul + Swatch PLUS a mini tour of my studio wall | Luminance pencils

- @NatashaNewtonArt challenged me to do an Art Haul and swatch next time I purchased some new art materials- challenge accepted!
I wanted to add some more colours to my Sketch kit and in particular some Luminance pencils by Caran Dache and a couple of Inktense Pencils by Derwent. As well as unboxing and swatching I also share what I've been working on.

Ahhhhh, I'm watching it and loving it, Mel! You bought some beautiful colours. I also enjoy it when Jackson's put things in the paper bags! By the way, I've used Bockingford paper for years and I love it (although I tend to use the textured NOT surface one for my watercolour or gouache paintings, but the smooth surface would be excellent for pencils, like you said!). Ok, I paused the video so I could write a comment, but I'll continue watching now. :)
Hold your horses! How do I not have French Grey 10%?! It's gorgeous. I'm so glad you love Anthraquinoid Pink! It's my new favourite pink. Those blues too. 😍 Perfect for the Cornish coast!

Why did you chose Luminance over Polychromos pencils?
No real reason other than the art shop in the village stocks them and I knew I had wanted to try them so took the opportunity to!
Those pencils sounded really dry I was cringing while you were doing the switching lol
Oh dear! sorry - they are a little dry sounding!
