We took the factory tour of the Everett, Washington plant where the 747 and 787 Dreamliner are made. Very cool. Get there if you can.
Umm...the opening nose door has been an option since the first 747. That's why the cockpit is up where it is.

Who could have imagined that after the first powered flight in 1903 that a plane would be able to carry cargo like actual fire trucks and tanks and other heavy equipment..unbelievable

@@Dan_the_Great_The destroyed 225 is being disassembled and put in storage. They don't have the tooling to rebuild them as the dye's were destroyed many years ago. It is currently being discussed if it would be financially viable to continue the build of the spare fuselage that's in storage for many years using some of the parts of the war destroyed plane. Money is the stumbling block. If you can confirm that a rebuild is currently taking place I would gladly welcome some info on it. Cheers.

Well, Once upon a time there was a little fire truck that grew up to be a big fire truck, and that big fire truck went wee-wee all over the bad ole" fire that threatened his town.
It amazes me how they can take so much stock footage and make it's so boring. I don't know who writes the narration on this, but it sounds like corporate Babel to me. And yeah, could you possibly read your script any slower?

The C-5 was built by Lockheed. The C-17 was built by McDonnell Douglas before they merged with Boeing. Plenty of non-Boeing aircraft in this package.
Boeing stopped making the 747s. All of them. The last one to deploy was an F series earlier in 2023.

Only the military will move airfreight in a Connex because the weight of flying these around would be to expensive for any private carrier.
